it is so crazy for anyone to get into trouble. if u go out with a girl and buy her dinner and have sex it is ok but if u skip the dinner and get the money u are up a s*** creek, and for those pour guys just going by the rules and give all the info and they are in trouble now. crazy world.

I learned the hard way that it is not wise for a provider to know too much about a hobbyist.  I date using an alias.   I will gladly provide references, but not my work and personal infomration.  The address on my driver's license and my car registration go to a Mail Box Etc.  I try to park my car in a way that it is hard to tell which car is mine.  My cell is listed is in the name of a now defunct company.  It's sad that one bad provider taught me that all this is necessary.

..ladies, never come between a guy & his best friend, his dog, no matter what kind of jerk he is! (as long as there is no mistreatment involved)

This guy has put the provider industry in big trouble all across the US. There have been alot of busts going down all across the US.

Wow these busts are becoming pretty common. A few months ago there was a big one in New Jesery. It is very interesting that all these are happening at the end of the year. The common thread is that they were all internet based websites. This one had 1000 customers...

These crackdowns started with web sites in Wisconsin, New Jersey, Chicago, Seattle, DC, and now LA. Looks like a pattern to me.

Nothing enrages government more than a successfull cash based buisiness. If 30 to 50% of proffits aren't going to the Treasury Department then LE will step in and crush it. Since the Moral Majority won't allow legalization of the hobby allowing the gov't to tax it like any other enterprise then underpayment or non payment of taxes from the hobby will continue to fuel the governments wrath.
This internet of ours has created a whole new game in many areas. As legislation and LE catch up the hobby will have to deal with the increased scrutiny. Unfortunately this is again going to mean more screening by both indys and agencies alike.

After reading this thread, it suddenly occured to me, that maybe, I could do more extensive screening. I am thinking of asking for 2-3 (instead of the usual one)well reviewed ladies (with websites of course), and the member's TER (and the OtherboaD's) handles, which will go along with my usual screening method of employment (which I always ask for on my screening form). I am not saying that this will be 100% effective but I keep thinking of my  name being in one of those posts, and yes it has me very scared, but more vigilant!

I think it would be good to increase screening or would it?  It  would tend to contribute to fewer clients engaging in the hobby.  What do you think about that?  I'm told that some clients now refuse extensive screening. Then we have others who use false or  inaccurate information and have done it in such a way that it appears genuine.

Stop sweating it! The cops likely will leave all those clients out of it. The Seattle Erotic scene sucks anyway.

I've been reading warnings for the last month about LE activity here in ATL.  While it's scary, it's to be expected.  In many places, winter has just set in... The piggies would much rather be in a nice warm hotel room, calling pretty girls or visiting a nice warm incall spot than out on the cold streets fighting real crime.  It happens this way every year.

As far as screening goes, my screening gets tougher every year.  Sure, people complain about the questions I ask, but if they don't want to answer, they don't have to see me... I don't post an appointment request form on my website because I vary the questions that I asked each person attempting to schedule.  Sure, I have a few that I ask everyone, but I don't ask all the same questions all the time and I don't want the wrong people to catch on to my screening process.  I'm seeing more of the appointment request forms on Provider websites lately and I find it a bit disturbing that all these ladies are posting their screening processes in such a public place.  That's just asking to get busted, IMHO.  If LE knows what the process is, how easy will it be for them to come up with the information being requested and call and set up an appointment???  Also, since most Providers use the same basic process, i.e., name, employment, references, and etc., it's just making it worse on everyone else.... So, to those ladies out there who have online appointment request forms with screening questions, TAKE THEM DOWN!!!  The best element anyone can have when fighting a battle is the element of surprise... That's the best way to stay one step ahead.  Also, to the hobbyists out there that don't want to give out any information, you should be afraid to see a Provider who doesn't want any.  If the appointment is too easy to make... WORRY!!!  The more difficult it is to set up an appointment, the better the chance that you're not walking into a setup.

Stay safe and have fun!!!

Jaclyn :)

Especially, coming from another in the sisterhood. If a provider feels comfortable with her business practice and it works for her, GOOD FOR HER! As long as she is NOT one of these ladies who are giving out information to LE, and blackmailing clients her clients, and then leave her alone! The one thing that pisses me off the most is when other providers are TOO judgemental, critical, of how others run their own businesses. I understand totally where you are coming from Jaclyn, but I am not sure how you would like it, if each one of the providers would that post on these boards, would tell you what to do and what not to do and point fingers. When people begin to point fingers at others, it tends to break down the togetherness of the sister hood, instead of bringing them together. I know you meant well, and it is your opinions, but here are mine.
Thanks.

intimately familiar with the parties involved, and have met the poor little doggie on numerous occasions. Both master and mistress are fond of him, and he seemed fond of and bonded with both of them. As in child custody disputes emotions run high and heartwrenching decisions must be made, ultimately in the best interest of the children. This particular pet custody case was taken to court months ago and two different judges awarded Joker to Eden (btw, he has no service dog credentials).

In any case, I doubt that you as a client or provider would welcome any repurcussions from a couple's failed relationship and personal disputes, although that is exactly what is happening in Seattle. For instance, although significance of the "little black book" and the damning information inside is greatly exaggerated, the media is scaring people and putting a damper on the holidays. Our locally operated review board is shut down due to all the brouhaha, and would not be the same again for some time anyway with the current atmosphere of tension, fear and mistrust. Some ladies associated with Eden were hassled for doing nothing wrong, and other ladies are bummed about the economical impact right before the holidays. Is all this justified by one man circumventing a protection order and destroying his ex's business in order to acquire a dog two judges ordered to stay with his ex??

Yes we should always be sure to stay ONE step ahead ! That is what I do !

Jaclyn you are so right , no need for an appointment form ............. yes it requires more work on my behalf but it is so  worth it .

Any "secret" you give away in public you help LE to get ideas how to do the set up ..............somethings are better left unsaid , and that includes also these board that they read .

Be safe and Happy Holidays ,
Peace and God Bless America !! CindySpice

oh and BTW shouldn't LE have more important things to care and worry about ...... GEEZ !!

No One is telling anyone HOW to run their business . It is just a thought/suggestion  what maybe be best . No one is judging anyone , we can all have opinions and we express them here . I tend to agree with Jaclyn ,doesn't mean  you have to and do as she and I do ........

In the mean time  Jaclyn and I posted under our real handle names ......while yours seems to be fake , not criticizing you or slamming you for this just wondering why ?
When a person isn't scared to say what they think they have no need to hide behind a fake handle name .

Hope you have a Merry Christmas , and a Great and Happy New Year .

For one, it saves me time in trying to go back and forth getting info I need as to the particulars for our time together.

It also has a way of me getting particular information which helps me screen that you don't see on the surface.

We all do what we do, and if I am comfortable with it and it keeps me safe, I say do as you see fit.

Cindy, I miss you terribly and I hope we can catch up when I am back out there the first of the year. I miss your smile!

xoxo

I know it saves time ........ I said no form means more work ......
If you feel safe with it works for you that is great .
I just see it as giving LE ideas what you are asking for and by that they prepare what they need to make the set up .

The way I do it each time different questions are asked they don't know what to expect . How and what to plan.

Just staying one step ahead ;-)

Miss you too baby , call me when you get into town , would love see you again .
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year xoxo CindySpice

Here we go again, providers telling other providers what to do! Case in point: your bringing up the alias lol If you took time to read my post, you would have seen me agreeing with Jacklyn on her fears, which I didn't deny. But, what kills me about the issue is how providers are constantly harping on other providers on how they run their business. So, are we going to have a witch hunt now for those providers who do use the forms? Do we need to tell gents that it is a bad thing for them to see providers who do, regardless of their great reviews, being well known in the community? It always starts off as innocent, then it tends to escalate into something more, than what it should be. Trust me, if LE is going to get you, they will get you WITH OR WITHOUT the form.
