I want to see what the girl is going to look like when I see her, and I feel amateur photos are more likely to represent who will come through the door. This topic comes up a lot and I know there are others who feel the same way I do, however we are probably in the minority. Are professional pics important to a hobbyist on deciding wether to see that lady or not? I've been battling on "To Do or Not To Do" professional pictures... I'm super nervous, I recently inquired to a photographer that is coming thru my area but my nerves & the flu got the best of me.... I know every provider on TER (almost everyone) uses Antonio Aldo but for me I would rather start off with a female photographer... I have a photo degree & could rent some equipment & use a remote cam but I think the poses I want to do would require someone else to shoot....
Any thoughts? Lol. Last time I posted a "To CIM or Not to CIM" I went with TO and I'm actually enjoying it.... Spitting out of course... Lol....

This has been asked and answered many times. But most guys want to see both the professional pix and some candids. We like the pro shots but know they are air-brushed and photoshopped and want to see what you really look like.
Very first thing I look at is the lady's PHOTOS. I skip all the bs fluff and just click right on her photos. If it looks shitty I pass. If it looks nice then I browse through more photos. Candid + Professional photos are a great combo because I think it shows the girls real potential when she's fully decorated and her natural looks as well.
I might read a line or two of her bio if she's interesting enough.
FYI, this whole process takes me less than 5 seconds at most. Decision to see or not see has already been by about the 4th second. So I would assume that photos are pretty damn important... :

The problem is the camera can lie in both directions. While it's possible to have professional photos that really hide a lot of flaws, you can also have amateur photos that make it look like there are flaws a woman doesn't even have! A bad angle or shadow can easily make someone look fatter or just less appealing overall.
If I were an escort (which I am not) looking to hire a photographer I would tell him to make the pictures look sexy but to accurately show what I look like, and not to do too much editing to the photos as far as flaws (except for removing tattoos and the like which I know some providers do for security reasons)
You are running a business so yes put your best foot forward and get your pics professionally done.
There is a fne line in photography as well as any other business.
You can get pro shots without photo shopping you into someone else.
Just be reasonable with the Photoshop, clean up the pic skin tone lighting and so on without changing who you really are.
focusing on various aspects of woman's body such as booty, boobs, hair, and overall figure...
If I see two words, "Aldo Antonio", I look for other pictures before making decision whether or not to see the woman....
I don't necessarily think that professional pics are representative of your normal day to day look. I personally just like a good high res photo body length types in various styles of dress (NOT SELFIES) This way a hobbyist can decide if you are to their personal liking I think you and your companion would benefit more from an encounter when there are no surprises. Professional pics look great but if you are not going to look like that during the encounter than I would save the cash and buy something you like
I get a lot of compliments on my selfies, though. I also don't edit any of my photos outside of the occasional blemish, so all of my photos are an accurate representation of me. I think the overediting is what makes some guys pass on a girl if all she has is carefully composed glamour shots.
I was told to get professional photos, a website, and my business is still slow, I think that its because my pictures aren't traceable on Google etc.. I was then told to get pictures done by Aldo to let the hobbyist know that I was a real provider, so less than a month later I'm scheduling a shoot with Aldo and hopefully this works, especially since the ones I just had done look good. I'm starting to think, that I need a couple more reviews, and it really won't matter, I have seen providers with tons of reviews and low budget pictures. It's all about how you want to be viewed in the community.
I think Aldo is overrated. All the photos look the same. My professional photos were taken by friends and they're good, but when I post my selfies, I get more attention, that's just how it's worked. Definitely work on the reviews, though. Regardless of the quality photos, once more men can vouch that they're accurate and that you're worth it, business will go up.
It really depends on the girl and her direction, because I have seen awesome work, and horrible work. I mean veins popping out, stretch marks showing, hotel carpet... bluck! Scott Church is way better, but heard he is an asshole bwahhaaha.
You don't need the quote unquote professional photos... you need professional QUALITY photos. I've seen some Iphone pics I swore were taken with a high end camera, so it matters what type of camera you are using and the resolution. More than anything, it's your lack of reviews that are causing you to be slow, or it could be your rate and location. I have seen women charge 300 with nothing but a BP ad in some places, no site, no pro photos.
It will come... don't worry, but don't let anyone con you into thinking you need a shoot with Aldo to get business lol. That's the funniest shit I have ever heard. Most of the women who have used him charged half of what others did, who did not have pro photos. I had a mix of candid and professional quality, but my photos compared to others, were shit. I had 10 pages of reviews though.

But it's still better than most by a long shot. He's just overexposed (pun intended). He overlights as well, IMHO, there should only be one obvious light source and it shouldn't be on camera. The sexiest photos use light and shadow. Check out Helmut Newton or Edward Weston or Natacha Merrit's early stuff. Weston could make a green pepper look like it's about to come. I respect the guy, he brought the bar up a notch or two, but he's lost his originality and creativity for a lot of what he shoots.
The photos should fit the girl and her persona, not be pose #5-8. With your eye, GC, you should be able to pick a better photographer that isn't shooting escorts all day long like a yearbook photographer. Find someone whose style you really like and make him/her stretch a little to do your gallery.
From a client's perspective, the photos are the first thing I look at, also. If I see hidden tummies or fat thighs, I bail.

Spent 30 years behind a camera. I'd love to shoot an escort in B&W with a single big softlight with a reflector fill and shooting only small parts of her body at a time, as if she were having sex. Maybe while she was having sex (bring your favorite partner). Chiaroscura lighting, very selective focus with shallow depth of field.
Some poses/crops, all tight crops, all implying seriously vigorous, possibly romantic hours of sex:
Hands clenched (male/female) with one obviously straining
Girl's back while in doggie, strongly cross-lit with sweat beads, showing some muscles working
Guy's back of neck in mish, with girl's arms tightly around his neck, a little bit of her face in tangled hair
Guy's hands gripping girl's hair while in doggie. Obviously long hair sufficiently mussed up
A leg up over a guy's shoulder, from mid-thigh to lower calf
Sweaty girl's neck over the guy's shoulder, showing ear and a little shoulder maybe back of his head a bit
Abdomen to knee from front while spooning on your side, groin in shadow, top hand gripping pillow tightly
Side view while she's lying down, cropped to not show tits or ass, knees are up and apart (because guy off-camera is DATY), backlit to show tiny fuzz on belly. Maybe another with her arms extended down driving the guy's face into her. Shadow issue to deal with there.
Obviously some breast curves, some pressed up against a well-built guy with just a tiny bit of nip showing
A top-lit thigh, supported by a guy's hand, as if they are screwing standing up
Guy's hand gently stroking the back of her head as she goes down on him
Close up of her mouth biting lower lip pretty hard
Maybe her chin to nose, showing tip of tongue reaching out a bit

Would be a great photo shoot. I'm in central Carolina if I struck any nerves or erogenous zones. Would need the model to be in pretty good shape and not afraid to get sweaty
Gemma, selfies and amateur pix have their place - they alloe the hobbyist to see the "real" you and help them to believe that what they see is what they will get when you show up.
Pro photos, if they are well done, show you at your absolute best, and make our dicks hard (oops, did I say that outloud? 
Pro photos for marketing and amateur pix for confidence and "reality" make a nice mix, don't you think?

I have done well with no pictures and believe too much emphasis can be placed on them.
It is your reputation that should precede you and then your photos, if any, can simply be the icing on the cake. A few tasteful and accurate images can be a nice treat for your viewers but in the end, it only matters who the girl actually is behind them. I would opt for creative self-photos given your background in photography to save money, accurately portray yourself, and stay true to who you are.

Pro photos are just that - Pro photos, air brushed and only have a vague similarity to the subject being photographed. So Is that what you want to market? - I think not. Present less and deliver more and you will acquire a client. Do the pro stuff and you might get a date. Which one do you want?
Professional photos do at least a couple of things. They provide the best possible views of providers and they establish the provider as serious and classy. A good photographer should be able to arrange for a nice setting, good lighting, appropriate attire, and sexy poses. Of course, we hobbyists need to keep in mind that the pics may be enhanced. In a sense, the pro pics show the best a woman could possibly look, with reality being something less. Anyone with a smart phone--which is practically everyone--can take and post selfies. These seem to belong more in the Backpage realm. That said, I think a folder of pro pics and a folder of "candid" images is the best way to go. The non-pro pics may be more realistic, which is a plus.
Unsolicited suggestions:
Variety is important. Some women look good in only one type of attire or from one angle. Show that you look good indoors and outdoors; in a nice dress, in lingerie, and nude; and lying down, standing, and sitting.
Related to variety, have lots of pics. There are some great providers with 50-100 or more pics. I feel more comfortable seeing someone with lots of pics, because I have a better sense of what she looks like. You don't need to pay for 100 pro pics, but I'd recommend 10-20 total pics at a minimum.
Use color--it's memorable. There are so many black lingerie pics that they become a blur, but a pretty yellow bikini or sexy pink bra stand out. Guys will remember those.
Date your pics. I've seen a few ladies where the pics were 5-10 years old or 20+ pounds old. Show us how you look now, or tell us when you looked like that.
Re pro pics, I assume that you'll be in the biz for a while. If you think you're a very short-timer, you may want to keep your costs down, though nice pics could pay for themselves rather quickly.

Guys want to see what you look like and what they are going to see when they meet you. Candids are fun and also let us know that the pro photos aren't too Photoshopped.
Amateur pictures are one thing. But what about "selfies" or "phone pics"? Are they just tacky? Or do they fall into the candid "what-you-really-look-like" category?
Gemma actually has some nice selfies on her web site. Much more creative with angles and cropping and especially use of color than is usual.
If you are trying to come across as a "girl next door" provider, selfies or candid non-pro are the way to go. If you want to look like a "professional provider", then pictures by Aldo or any of the number of good photographers would be a good choice.
I prefer the "girl next door" look. It fulfills my fantasy that you are not really "in the business" and our time together is going to be special. Heck, I might even be able to "teach you a thing or two". lol It also gives me the illusion that you are a totally independent young lady, just trying to make an honest buck
but a good amateur with good photo equipment & taking a lot of frames... plus the gals inventiveness for posing. Quality must be high, opening to good size for viewing & covering a variety of angles, props, dress & undress. If you can get it done with an amateur fine. If not go with a pro.
Absolutely... pictures are probably your biggest selling point. At least equal to everything else combined.
photographer, or cook, or fill in the rest. If you know lighting and composition, you can do a lot with a phone camera. If you don't know squat about creating images, the best equipment in the world is only going to get you high definition crap.
answer is yes. The pics should be a mixture of various posses with varied attire. No need to show all the goods; it is nice to be able to unwrap the present.
Guess I'm going to do a photoshoot soon.. Just need to find someone I'm comfortable with, in the meantime I've been working on getting a Rocking Bod.... I'm going to have to tell my trainer to work me a bit harder maybe see hi. Twice a week instead!!!
But def do not want any photoshopping or FAKENESS....
