Just curious as to how the TER reviews have affected your business.  Ok so I admit, I'm not actually thrilled to have the details of my evening with a gentleman there for everyone to see.  BUT I understand the hobbyist's need to verify that the woman is credible and who she says she is yada yada.

My question is how has your business changed before and after your reviews were available and do you like the reviews being there?

I've definitely noticed an uptick in bookings since getting reviews, especially now that I have several. However, I decided what kind of reviews I wanted before even starting, and did my research on TER and talking to other providers, so that I knew I could get them, no matter what came through the door.

No matter how much I enjoy it, I still look at this as a business. As in, anything said in the review is about my business, not me personally, so I don't mind the details being out there. I feel like it keeps me on my game, and I have a first hand account of what the client does and does not like. I would rather know, in however graphic detail, and improve, than not and wonder what happened to my business.

I find that whenever I get a new review, traffic to my website goes up by 300% for the next couple of days.

...Who made you mod of this board?  There's no rule that men can't respond to questions for women.  If you can read, you'll see 'Nyx_GG' posted basically the same response as I did.

WTF do you know about reviews and business for providers?  Start by paying 25 bucks/month for VIP, cheapskate. :)

Then when I figured that out, reviews made zero difference. The guys I see don't write reviews and are not interested in boards and the community.

I have spent time fkin off on discussion boards and have reviews everywhere, but the reviews here have had the most impact on my business. No one ever asks to see my "Icky" reviews...they ask for TER.

I do not get reviewed a whole lot on this site, however I WISH that I would! I have like some 300 or 325 reviews on the other site that is more used in Northern Calif. I tell guys to review me here too, but sigh...

I will say this however, I love this site, I love the guys I have met, and have YET to meet a spoiled apple. Every time I DO GET A TER review, it has made my stats sky rocket on my website, I get more interest from the travelling businessmen, and they tend to be the ones who want to do dinner dates etc...

So for me, TER reviews affect me in more exposure nationwide, and attracting the quality dates vs quantity  that I prefer.

when i first started out and went against my instincts by seeing someone who wasn't my type, it turned out he was a TER member and wrote a review. it was a positive one but that made no difference to me. i was just horrified that he could be so indiscreet, and that he could have such a passionless view of women in order to rate them in such a manner. i was horrified that i had spent time with such a person, and shared my body with them. and then i was horrified by the flood of men who immediately contacted me for days and weeks afterward, wanting to see me because they wanted that guy's "experience." ugh.

in this little world of ours, there are many different niches based on the different motivations of the women within it. if a financial goal, long or short-term, is the number one (and often only) motivation, then reviews are a great thing because they will spark interest and increase your visibility immensely. however for some of us we want the very opposite...even before i went UTR, i never wanted to see tons of anonymous men or fill a bank account. i wanted to develop and maintain REAL relationships, based on nurturing, compassion, service...with men who truly needed it. where i could be a combination sexual surrogate and best friend. and those are not the type of men who read or write reviews, and they are certainly not "hobbyists." and that's just the way i like it.

(no offense intended to present company lol)

I understand where both you and Saturnsky are coming from, and can imagine the stereotype you just painted is mostly accurate. However, there can be exceptions to the rule. I think (hope) I am one of those exceptions.

I have been a member on this site since 2004. I posted a three reviews in my earlier days, because that is what I thought a good member was to do. I have always been a paying VIP. I am not a churn and burn hobbiest, and prefer to see one lady and develop friendship. I decided to stop posting reviews, because I felt it was like kiss and tell, and frankly, I was just uncomfortable doing it.

I just recently began visiting the Discussion Boards, primarily to get a sense of a ladies personality  and see a side of her as an individual that transcends what the reviews would state.

You mentioned that you seek - - - "i wanted to develop and maintain REAL relationships, based on nurturing, compassion, service...with men who truly needed it. where i could be a combination sexual surrogate and best friend. and those are not the type of men who read or write reviews, and they are certainly not "hobbyists."

That is exactly what I have been looking for too, yet here I am on this Board. I would not have as likely discovered someone like you or Saturnsky, if I was not vivting this forum.

Thank you for your insights and post!!!

I was under the radar earlier with no reviews. It was difficult because a lot of savvy guys would question if I was real or not. I would explain whenever they asked that I wasn't comfortable with gory details being out there for all to see. I was worried about having reviews and attracting a clientele that I wouldn't be interested in.

After I met Chloe Carter, she explained to me that you can mold this into what you want to get out of it. She explained that when you have a review that describes the date in a certain way, you'll get like minded gentlemen contacting you. It's been true. Not only do having reviews prove that I am for real, but it's the best targeted advertising that there is. My reviews specifically attract likeminded individuals. A client who is looking for non stop PSE is going to understand in a moment of reading that that is NOT my style, and therefore he won't contact me. Had I no reviews, he might have and then we'd both hove felt the date was unsatisfying to what we both are looking for.

So, surprisingly, I think they are wonderful now, not only to help get your name out and reassure guys that you're reputable, but to also help attract the type of guy you want to see.

Which gives the guys peace of mind about scheduling, whenever it is that they do schedule, as it can be years... LOL
I for one will be a repeat next time I'm in the land of sin.

Well said Kate. The reviews do the same for us men, enabling us to choose  those women who seem to best match what we are looking for in the hobby. The portrait that they paint of the provider gives a wonderful glimpse into her personality and style, critical elements in my decision process.  I would add that what a provider writes in her posts also contributes further insight into the personality of the women and how she views herself.
Proper research by both partners, each getting to know as much about the other as possible,  can help quarantee a great date!

I would love to meet someone like you. I have not come even remotely close to it with the women I have seen, all of which I found through TER.

I find reviews to be and indicator of sexual tastes, but don't know where others are coming from when they claim to provide insight into the personalities of the provider.  The reviews are largely formulaic and are inventories of sex acts performed for the most part.  They really tell me more about the reviewer than the reviewee.

I don't travel in circles where I meet many women period and certainly have never met an UTR provider.  I am an engineer so my business associates are overwhelmingly male, and my favorite recreations are golf and exercise, neither of which provide contact with women.  Women don't golf, and they don't like talking when they are dressed in spandex and sweaty for some reason :}

I have no way of searching out a lilli or saturnsky that is apparent to me.  So how do you meet clients?  I would like to figure out what watering holes I should hang out at to increase my odds of connecting with someone with the sensibilities you describe.

We should start the "REAL Relationships" coalition lol.  Everyone brings up some really good points.  I'm all for the basic fundamentals of a "beneficial relationship" (sugar daddy), but it can be a little awkward when discussing money and can involve more emotional baggage.  Yet it can be more of a natural and intimate experience.  But I appreciate the "companion" business because it is more straight forward.  But with that you risk a less meaningful encounter, not to mention the discretion and safety concerns... revolving door etc.  Also, women don't want to feel forced, we need more to warm up than men usually.  I think meeting someone that can merge the best parts of those together would be awesome.  But how else would you know that without reviews?  But then its not that desirable to have private matters public sometimes.  But like Sooo...YouWanna else said, it is a job, so technically it is public information.  I think to sum it up, it would be great to have the sugar daddy relationship that is actually a considered your work (i.e. getting SET consideration versus purses and shoes).   Although gifts are good :)

So that was my dilemma.

Thanks everyone for the input!!

I love the guys I see because they focus more on the total experience. Not saying that the general hobbyist doesn't also...but I feel the focus between my clients and hobbyists is quite different, at least in my personal experience. Neither is right or wrong, just differing styles that appeal to different people.

I agree with everything you just said, and if you were not UTR I would schedule this afternoon....  well, I would still want to see a picture because part of the total experience is visual, but you know what I mean.

So do you just meet clients by word of mouth, bump into them at a grocery store and something clicks, other providers that you know refer their clients to you....

Curious minds want to know.

I do have a website. I no longer advertise as I seem to have amassed a great group of guys who have become regulars.

I am signed up with one of the well known verification sites and some find me from there. Some may call that advertising, however I have no choice if I want to use their services.

to answer your question as to how to go about meeting someone like me, well, you wouldn't...however that's only because i am no longer "on the market" so to speak. i have my established friends and stick with them. i would never, EVER see a gent based on a referral or "word of mouth." the personal relationship must be established, and that is not going to happen with just anyone.

as to how i obtained my clients in the first place, i advertised and had a website like any other provider. however when men would contact me (which would have to be via email), i was extremely selective as far as who would even get a response. those looking for one'n'done encounters, no response. those looking for "fun sex" on the side only, no response. those looking to meet immediately, no response. those who did not share the personal/identifying information i clearly request, no response. just that cancels out the majority of folks. and even for those who got a response, it was only the beginning of a lengthy but relaxed process of getting to know one another, via email and phone, to determine his needs/desires and our compatibility. any hiccups along the way...good luck but goodbye. so in the end my pool of clients was always very small, and i like it that way. after almost 3 years i felt comfortable with the number of friends i had, and didn't feel a need for any more. of course in time that may change, but for now that is the way it is.

Thank you for your response.  I am fascinated with your approach, it is so completely in tune with what I would like to find.  But you have given me some ideas on how to broaden my search for your doppleganger.
