What is the deal with possessive, clingy, needy, providers? Not a part of GFE I want. Seriously.

They are possessive because they want your wallet. They are clingy because they want your wallet.

One good way to avoid that is not repeating too often with them. Once they feel comfortable with you they tend to push the limits. You should also try to keep a distance when it comes to emails, texts or calls when you are not booking with them.  

If you have sucker tattooed across your forehead I would suggest getting it removed.

It's fking pathological. How do these ladies have so much time in the day to send so much email? I mean it's not like they're clinging to just one dude.

is a philosophy a number of hobbyists subscribe to.  As far as the emails, just block them or don't answer. I hobby during business trips, makes it difficult to see anyone often.    

You obviously have the best dick they've ever had and want you to please them as much as possible

You don't need to quit seeing GFE providers as long as you don't allow them to cling. It's just as much your issue then theirs.

Wow. I hear about providers who do that but it just seems so unprofessional. I hesitate to even message them from TER out of the blue. I imagine most reputable providers feel the same. I don't contact anyone unless I am responding to an email they sent me or I am wishing them a happy holiday of some sort. I'm sorry you're dealing with that, but AnnaFaire has a very good point.

you're probably a real sweetheart... it's hard not to care for people when you have a genuine rational soul- it doesn't make you a sucker. try hard not to harden yourself to the needs and feelings of others. try to find some balance so that you don't let them suck you into their drama.

You comment is wrong. Not all BP providers are like that. There are a few good and honest providers on Backpage

I agree with sarah, I don't think its proper etiquette to contact customers without previous consent (like they specifically tell you that they would like you to contact them). I have a couple of guys that I exchange emails with, or that tell me about their newest conquests and I respond back. But I am not comfortable contacting someone to ask for a session. I don't like rejection LOL
