at my highest volume, i would occasionally see 4 men in a week, and every once in a blue moon two of those men would be in the same day. more typically it would be two men a week, days apart. and now that i am UTR is very often one man a week, albeit for a night or a weekend.

even for a woman who considers herself "high volume," there will be many days and some weeks where she will take no clients. you know, little stuff like life/career/family/kids/etc.

it is also odd that you focus on the number of times a woman has had sex...there are happily married monogamous couples who over the course of 10 years could match or beat that 10,000.

You missed a few other probabilities in the equation...

There's a high probability that she's been to the clinic a few times and gotten whatever you think she's carrying taken care of and is actually clean

There's an even higher probability that she uses condoms with regularity, and

There's an even higher probability that you going to catch something worse from the girl you were trying to pick up at the bar last night.

Finally, as a few other posts pointed out, the 'average' working girl is seeing maybe 3-5 guys a week (more when they tour, less when at home), so your premise is based upon an 'average' that is probably 2-3 standard deviations from the mean.

Sounds logical, but makes no sense, aside from the fact that the lady would have to be Superwomen to maintain that pace for 10 years.

Let's try a different tack for a moment.

If a guy has sex 1000 times and uses a condom every time, is he more likely to get someone pregnant than a guy who has sex 100 times and never uses any protection? How about a guy who has sex 10 times without protection?

Same applies for STDs - it is not about how much sex you have, but about how you have sex. The raw numbers are pretty close to meaningless. On top of that, using protection means you are very unlikely to get something from someone, even if that person is infected.
