An acquaintance recently asked me if I was interested in taking part in a gangbang he was, or so he claimed, setting up for the near future [this was appx 1 month ago].

Now, I know this fellow in only the most casual manner, so the invitation was a surprising one, AND it followed my mention to him a few days earlier, in the most general and vaguest of terms, of TER.   And besides, he's a typical  NYC lumpenproliterian, so i could only imagine what kind of  tragically unfortunate skanked-out crack whore he's lining up for the occassion [if there actually is to be one].  

I politely declined, primarily because the concept of gangbanging seems to me at least, to be a very anti-social and  hostile act toward the woman in question, no matter what her degree of cooperation might be. [But I can't explain why I feel this way, it's just my immediate emotional response]. As well as unnecessarily turning into semi-public spectacle the most private and intimate of  behaviors, even those originating in a "tainted" commercial spirit.  And as my friend Mellow_Dramatist warns me, these things can easily get out of hand and take a very ugly turn  very quickly.

So i'm wondering, for those who have had an opportunity like this and declined, or contemplated it and decided it was not for you, what was your reasoning?  For those who have taken part, in whatever capacity, feel free to contribute your thoughts as well if so inclined.  TYVM.

invited me, because I don't like sloppy seconds.  I'm not sure I think it's hostile or anti-social as much as sort of just missing the point.  I like her attention focused on me.

group thing I had went to one nite. I was curious as to the type of party, and how it went on since I was told it was all SAFE and they had a general NO means NO attitude.
The ratio of men to women was a 1.5-1 (not sure how they came up with that number but whatever)
