TER General Board

I have been reading this board for ages.

Responses,  (from me) I've participated randomly. I'm not always willing to open myself (so to speak) to reply with what I'm thinking. Some posts demand a response lol (& others may be volunteered).

In this place, one must be prepared to answer the backlash of not thinking through and clarifying one's thoughts, this is definitely "off the porch" (so I've had to be prepared to run with the big dogs lmao).

I'm ready hehe

I believe there are more people tuning in than participating. I'm just happy to be here ;)

(does tht answer your "qwesshkin"? :D )

A simple observation that I hope doesn't come off as whining...

I don't understand how, regardless of the time of day, every time I connect to the TER Forums and look at the General board, every topic has 20, 30, sometimes even 40 posts already. And it's the same dozen or so responders every time.

I could (and sometimes do) add a post at the very bottom, but it's difficult to add anything new to a topic that already has 30 replies. So I usually just read and move on.

I don't see this in other forums I read. It's almost as if there are 20-30 people that constantly refresh TER Forums, looking for new topics. Then they all pounce one after another for a few hours, then move on to the next new topic. Doesn't leave much opportunity for other views, and sometimes it seems like an exclusive club of the same responders really just talking amongst themselves...

What do you guys think? Am I way off base? If so, tell me - I can take it.

group of posters who tend to post more than others. I would prefer to see more of Rasha, Natasha, Edrienne and Julia like before, but they probably have lives lol. Before I was really active years ago, I noticed Rae Monroe, Anna Bang Bang, Sins of the Flesh, Haley Orlando, and a few others were the top girls posting, then new people came.

Slowly, some left, and others replaced them. I know what you're saying, but welcome to the generation of speed posters. They are not as strict with thread hijacking here as they are on other boards, so you see a slew of back and forth banter and flirting that veers off topic...I get that can be annoying, and know I am guilty of it.

"It's the nutty in me that makes me delicious. ( So if you think I'm crazy ) I cordially invite you to eat me."

That is a quote from one of the illustrious ladies (retired in name before retiring / disappearing completely) you mentioned above Ms. Rayne ;)

Thanxxx for the welcome :D

He will have 5 or six things to add that have nothing to do with the OP.

'if she does this that way ummm...the weather will be clear in San Diego today' ?!?

+1

Also, kudos to London for her graceful acknowledgement.

even if someone else has already said the same thing. I can live with being repetitive.  Once I've made an initial response I go back and read some, or all, of the other posts and respond if I have something to say.  Sometimes the board is very busy and sometimes it's dead.

I don't think you are necessarily off base.  There are certainly some cliques here but that is the case on all message boards-as it is in life. That being said, if I like the topic and have something to say I just say it. I don't care how far down the page it is.

To be honest, I DO skip a lot of boring crap from people who can't stay on topic and use every thread as an excuse to go after another member(s).  That certainly helps me cut through the clutter!

I participate on the board because it's fun, but it is far from being my life.  It's also rewarding to be able to help out a person or two.

I don't really get into the whole insular sense of community on a board, though.  I don't believe in the cliques and the social order of this stuff.

So I am on boards constantly. I have 2 laptops. One personal and one work, right next to each other. So at times I am bored as there is nothing going on at work, which is why I post all the time...

Also because I can't shut up...

If I notice myself on the top 10 poster thing I stop for a while.
There are more lurkers than posters, that is for sure.
Many take this forum way too seriously, and my guess is they fear insult.
It's just words on a screen people. Come out and play!
So now I have to come up with another wacky thread.

I'm flattered. Someone is reading my drivel!

I really did accidentally request a vibrator up my butt.
Bet BIB can't say that.

I have used anal beads and mens' vibrators many times, but no I am not banging some dude with a strap on. Sorry, not my kink.

Yea. I don't want my ass fucked raw.
If I did. I would sell it!
I already have my provider name picked out.
Demolition Man.
Also I would need to take a blow job class or something!
Covered only. Yuk!
I just made myself sick.

"anal beads and mens' vibrator" but no strap on, yea right. No it's not a request either, lol

This went from "regulars viewing the board" to anal beads, and fkin lipstick bwahahaha.

Btw, I would totally help you with that. Just let me know when you're ready, and I'll bring all the goods.

Now lets see how far off topics this thread will go

My observation is the same. LOL!  Whenever I have free time to read the TER boards, most of the threads have pretty much run their course.  I figure that throwing in my lame responses at the end of many of those threads isn't gonna contribute to the discussion, so I just read on.  I was even debating whether or not to respond to this thread for the same reason.  LOL!

I do read the TER boards fairly regularly, but I'm not a prolific poster or thread starter like some of the members around here.  Although, I'll throw in my 2 cents if a particular topic or response peaks my interest.

Just because a post is low on a thread doesn't mean it isn't read.
You yourself say you read the thread. Someone has to be on the bottom.
I also think that happens because we are the daytime crew.
I rarely post past 9pm (eastern) because I turn into a pumpkin.
So if I sign on in the morning. That is what I see too.
I have also noticed more people starting threads latley.
That is the best way to be heard. If that is what you mean.
The OP will read all posts on the thread they started 99% of the time.
So if you want to contribute. Do it.
