As others have said...I think of forming some sort of emotional attachment with another person is "cheating". Fucking on the side? Not so much. I'm sure my wife would disagree though.

A good definition of cheating is something that you keep quiet rather than reveal to your SO.

By that definition, seeing an escort is cheating.  Now you may feel that it is justifiable, and I won't argue that point with you, but let's not quibble about the words and what they mean.

There are too many variations of what people consider to be cheating.  Some people would even consider watching porn cheating.   I agree with most of the posters, I think cheating is developing an emotional connection and feelings for a person behind your SO's back.  Sex is kind of like food, sure you can eat the same damn thing every single day but it wouldn't be fun and you would no longer look forward to a meal, whether it's boxed Mac and cheese or a 5 star dinner.  Sexually open relationships/marriage and swinging is becoming more common as people realize monogamy is ridiculous.

I think any time you have to lie, you're cheating. End of story. If you knew it was really all good, you would not have to go through so much trouble to hide the shit. Now, some women have this mentality that as long as he goes home to them, that's enough. Well, I do NOT have that mentality lol. I am not saying I could ever live with someone, but I also know that different people want different things from their mate, and to some wives, it very well cuts like a knife to know their mate is kissing, going down, or fkin someone else. Most don't seem to care about him getting a bj, because it's not that intimate. I can blow just about anyone.

What are your thoughts on married men who partake in the hobby because they aren't getting what they want at home?  Most likely 99% of them are lying but do you think they have a right to cheat?  Is it a lesser evil to go to one of us?  I just don't see sex the same way after I started providing which is why if I do enter a relationship I'd rather it be an open one.  It does feel better to give someone permission to fool around then to have them do it behind your back.

Another person can't "make" you do anything. It's not a wife's duty to keep her man from cheating, and quite frankly I would be bored to death fkin the same guy day after day, year after year. If it's a wife's duty to fk him whenever and wherever he wants, it's also his duty to not gain weight and stop shaving his balls. Many wives stop having sex with their husbands because they find them unattractive after so many years, and I would guess the reverse could be said.
