I read an advertisement for a medical group in Southern California that specializes in vaginal reconstruction and labia reduction.  The reconstruction is to return muscle tone to the vagina after child birth.  Another article was about a porn star named Houston who had her labia reduced to enhance her appearance.  I can understand the reconstruction part, but the labia reduction has me a bit puzzled.  Is there something wrong with large inner labia? Vaginas are like fingerprints; no two are the same.  I see nothing wrong, or unsightly about large inner labias.  As a matter of fact, I believe they enhance sexual pleasure because they become engorged with blood when the female becomes aroused.  The extra padding also provides pleasure for the male.  I hope this is not going to be one of the lunatic fads that come and go.

Some women due to child birth or just plain old genetics may be seeking this surgery to fix what is no longer internalized.  Excessive lips that hang like a turkey gobbler.  I had seen this in porn magazines and thought this must be what guys enjoyed.  Since than I have heard that isn't the case--Guys how say You?

I just wanted to point out that Houston is the "Houston 500" girl - the one who had sex with 500 guys in one day to get in the record books, (or whatever).  Not to be judgemental or anything, but just to say that maybe she isn't really typical of any particular trend as such.

I say it's just another reason to make women feel insecure and eager to spend more money to "fix" ourselves.

...while I'm not familiar with the Houston you mentioned, or her supposed total of 500 guys in one day--unless my math is completely out of whack, that amounts to less than 3 minutes per guy if we define a day as a period of 24 consecutive hours.  Hell, that's even more suspect than Wilt Chamberlin's total in his autobiography of 20,000 women by age whatever.  Geez, at least the Guiness book supposedly does some form of verification.  Of course if it's true...I wonder how #500 might describe the experience?  LOL
