e can rate the providers but there's no way for them to rate us.  That seems like a problem; if providers don't have good information, they'll end up with incompatible clients. That's not just bad for the provider and that particular client, that's bad for the compatible client who maybe couldn't get an appointment, or worst case a potentially amazing provider gets turned off from the profession and a lot of people lose out.

I'm not looking to create the huge form TER uses for providers, just a few simple pledges that we clients can promise to abide by and providers can judge whether or not we did.  This is certainly neither comprehensive nor universally relevant; I've only got my perspective as a "nice guy" who talks almost as much as he fucks.  Read my three reviews to get a fuller picture.  There should be other versions of this. I wrote these in my home town so I'll call this version the Manhattan Code.

To the extent that this post generates replies, I'll admit I don't like the TER format and I may not read all of these.  I encourage PMs from clients and providerspp.

I also hope that providers can take up the torch and establish their own code.

To the extent that others have already done this, I give you thanks and credit for being there first.  I'm only a few months into this life.

Without further ado:

1) I promise pay the consideration in full, and to deliver it appropriately (up front, in an unsealed carrier, left in a visible but discreet place without mentioning it).

2) I promise to show up clean and fresh, like I expect the provider to be, and if I'm not, to shower on the clock (because the provider got ready before the clock started).  I will also either freshen my breath by brushing, mint or gum immediately prior to the appointment.  If the provider asks that I do either of these things, I agree to do so, or if I feel this is a ploy to shorten our appointment, I will state this and ask for my money back.

3) I promise to be on time, or if I cannot be on time, I will communicate with the provider as far ahead as possible, especially on an outcall.  If I am late, I will not attempt to stay past my originally scheduled ending time without express permission from the provider.  If the provider is late, I will not expect them to make up the time on the back end although I may respectfully ask if they intend to do so. I will not cancel or walk out on the appointment if the provider is less than five minutes late.  I will cancel the appointment if I am sick with a communicable illness.

4) I promise to read the provider's website, ad, or profile before our appointment and be familiar with the provider's list of things they do and don't do. If it's unclear, I promise to ask the provider in person about these things in a respectful way and not pursue them without explicit consent. I have the right to ask and the provider has the right to choose. I'll never force anything, that's a crime.

5) If I am hosting my provider, I promise to host her in a clean, safe, private place that has a clean working bathroom with soap and fresh towels.  I promise to not invite any guests to our appointment without prior consent, and likewise not to record our appointment in any way without prior consent.

If my provider is hosting me, I promise to treat their space carefully and with minimal or no traces of my presence.  I will only enter spaces I have been given permission to by the provider.

6) I promise to treat the provider in a dignified manner and not to use any derogatory language unless we have agreed to role play that allows it.

7) I promise to communicate what I want, and what pleases me, to the provider clearly.  I want to be satisfied, and I want the provider to have the best possible chance of accomplishing this.  I will never offer any intoxicating substances to the provider unless I have asked them if they wish to partake first.

8) I promise to respect the time limits of my visit and if time is up, pack up and go when the provider requests I do so.  Especially once I've had more than a few appointments, I will be responsible for understanding my body and minds' needs to be fully satisfied, and I will give the provider guidance up front to accomplish this.

9) If I plan to publish a review of the appointment, I will ask the provider if any activities we engaged in should be left out because she does not do them on a regular basis.  If the provider asks me not to publish a review, I acknowledge that if I publish the review anyway, the provider is within their rights to refuse to give me referrals to other providers or even to give me a negative referral.  I promise not to use a review as a tool to get special treatment from the provider.  I will never divulge any personal information about the provider, including distinctive body art or piercings.

10) Both before and after our appointment, I promise to respect the provider's time and personal life.  I will not engage in excessive communication or make requests for uncompensated time together.  I will not solicit personal information about the provider from anyone other than in the course of determining whether or not to make an appointment with them.

11) I promise to participate in each appointment in a spirit of mutual pleasure and respect.  Leaving aside any role playing, I will not treat the provider as a person hired to accommodate my every wish only to be disposed of at the end of my time.  I will treat them as someone who is willing to make me happy and give them the thanks and kindness such a person is due.  I will treat them as my moral and social equal.

12) I understand that if my provider has spent the time and provided the services which were advertised or explicitly agreed to, then if I am not satisfied, my recourse is to not go back to that provider and/or write a truthful review that may be critical. Withholding payment, threats, harassment or violence are never acceptable.

That's it, folks. Whether you think this is sunshine, rain or fertilizer, may a thousand flowers bloom

this has come up before and this will probably result in the same as before.

A couple of thoughts
1) Providers already are "taking up the torch". It's call getting blacklisted.

2) Given that's you're suggesting a voluntary approach why should your particular set of rule have much sway for anyone but you? (Didn't read them all and probably have little objection based on the little I did read). As such, what's the point here?

Good luck.

PS...you should charge $ 1,000 a month for membership.  Then take your empire public.  Then buy the NY Times.  Then buy the NY Yankees.  Then run for the Senate from NY.  Then make your run for POTUS in 2020.  Then take your private rocket ship to Mars.

Dude, it's not complicated. Noobs always over thinking things! I've done this for 20 years. Want the girls to like you? Show up on time, not early, or late. Have the correct donation in an envelope, and leave it in plain site once you arrive. Be groomed and freshly showered. Don't over stay your visit. Relax, don't be nervous and just enjoy yourself. Have fun! You're over thinking this way too much.

For those who do not know what being a gentleman means - I honestly don't think a "code" is going to help.   That boat has sailed.

And for those who do know what it means - I think the detail is just irrelevant

I would assume that most guys adhere to a code of conduct with a provider. Being polite, courteous, on time, and freshly showered are understood. If you treat a provider in a well mannered way, then she'll treat you the same way.

As Jake says, the OP is a master of the obvious.  He belongs on the Newbie board, not here. It's like a high school basketball player that wants to tell an NBA team how they should be playing.  If he wants to be that arrogant, he's going to get shit from the many hobby vets here.  It's just business, not personal.

Some of it is bad advice. Like we're he said if the provider is late we hobbyists should pledge to end the date on the original agreed end time thus shorting us. I will not pledge to short change myself because the provider is late. It is bad advice to reward bad behavior. If the provider is late she still give the full time paid for, reduce her rate or simply reschedule, not sort the guy she left hanging.

I gave up after that. I am known as a white knighting mangina, just ask GaGambler, and honestly the very concept of rewarding bad behavior and shorting myself in the process repulsive. So much so. I  couldn't bring myself to read one word more. But what I read was common sense, though some apparently lack it, or common courtesy, again some are sadly lacking, or plain wrong. Those issues like proper hygiene and trying to be on time and giving notice even the newest newbie should know, and if they don't I doubt his novel would help. He should learn how before teaching.

the rest will take care of itself. That's my moto and it has served me well. Pretty simple.

I don't agree on the time issue if she's late. Respect is a two way street, so she should respect your time and provide the entire session length that you asked from her. A true professional will make up the time without you even having to ask her. If not, I won't be back.

He asked us to pledge to short our time if the PROVIDER is late. The rest of it (I got though it the second attempt) is very basic stuff I have zero objection to, we don't need book long list of very basic, common decency stuff like treating a provider with respect or brushing our teeth.

As for GaGambler he isn't half the asshole he pretends to be. But he gave me the title "King of the Manginas", and I am not giving it up. Please note I am not using him as a reference as how a good client asks, just that I am a white knighting mangina. Nothing more.

I know what you are saying,  but this Shit should come natural. If a guy has to be told to wash up,  bring full donation,  to leave on time, to tip when appropriate,  to communicate clearly WTF?

Don't forget, a code of conduct is a two way street.  I have been doing this  for 15-20 years and while my resume may not be as impressive as some gents here, I know how to play.

KISS. Keep it simple stupid.
1. RESPECT  the rules, boundaries,  privacy,  safety, communication and time.
2. Have fun, keep it professional, be yourself.

Let's turn it around: some new girl in the business for three months, comes on the PO board and starts to tell y'all how to advertise, market, communicate, prep for sessions, what to do during a session, etc. Are you going to thank her for enlightening you as to the basics she's found to be helpful? You see slams lose all power if you adopt them and wear them as a badge of honor, Like Droopy Dog always out wits his adversaries and is an over all a good guy. I'll take that as a complement. "Queen of Mangina's" was already taken by lungman, and he was much more worthy than I for the title. So given you as board moderator already gave out that title you couldn't bestow to on a less worthy candidate like myself. That would be sacrilege.

As for the OP, his crimes are not unforgivable, just needed to be called out, especially when he is wrong. Encouraging bad behavior by rewarding it is never, ever good advice.

Edited to fix a great many errors in grammar. I really wish I could write better then a eight year old.

Newbie or not, he's a giant, idiotic douche and he can expect nothing but ridicule from me unless he seriously changes his tune and his tone. If I wanted a lecture, I'd get married. I don't need a fucking lecture from some douche bag who have been here all of about 45 minutes.

One could act like a civilized gentleman in pretty much all aspects of life and all of the things which you mention are encompassed.

One of the reasons why I do fantasy role play of dirty talk in the hobby, is that it's not part of my general persona. I always ask a new provider if she's cool with it prior to doing so, and the very few times which the provider has even hesitated I decline to do so. It's ultra important to me that she knows I don't mean the words and that it's simply fantasy. That is what our world is all about after all, fantasy.

But all of the other things which you mention to pledge to, are things that I don't have to even think about, they come naturally.

but if I had, and I have no reason to doubt you, then it would indeed be sacrilegious to give you the same title as well.

As for the OP, it's not that his "crimes" are unforgiveable, it's that it is VERY unlikely that he will ever rise above his inauspicious beginnings here, he has two total posts on GD, both of them shameless suckups. He might eventually grow a pair of balls, but the odds of it are OTB (Off The Board) OTOH his chances of winning BSU are quite good if he decides to stick around.

Your stated number of new ladies per year × your stated years of hobbying÷number of reviews=approximately 10.

The last poster this fucking annoying right out of the box is currently locked up in a bard somewhere, hopefully NEVER to be heard from again. This annoying little ball-less dweeb with ZERO sense of self worth is starting off in the very same fashion.

Watch out if he starts referring to you as "Pretty Lady" and plying you with snails.

I always try to be a gentleman. For instance, I always open doors for the ladies ... back doors. nyuck nyuck

She did just that right here on both the GD and Newbie boards, and I assume she was no better behaved on the PO board, but of course I have no way of knowing if she was even on that board, much less how she acted.

But Taylor did come right here and started telling people that screening was a waste of time, and that EVERYONE should do things HER way, this after having about a week's worth of experience being a hooker. It is rather ironic that she and the last BSU to get off to such a bad start here turned out to be each other's biggest and only fans.

Many of us get irritated when the last thing a reviewer says in a review is "treat her nice" as if without that admonishment the rest of us are going to gang rape her and leave her in a ditch. If that is "irritating" think how we feel when a clueless noob gets on a soap box and preaches at length how the rest of us should act. I doubt that many of us would be able to stay "nice" even on the newbie board.

It's "write better THAN AN eight year old."
"Then" means at another time, or next.  Such as "Then I wiped my dick on her drapes.  Then I left."
"Than" means as compared to.  Such as "write better THAN an eight year old.
Also, you don't use the word "a" before a word beginning with a vowel (a, e, i, o, or u).  Thus "an" eight year old.
You're welcome, DD. You'll get there eventually.

There were other mistakes that old DD made in his post, but I will let the PP go find them himself.

Also, after further review of my board posts from the time in question I do not believe that the DungBeetle was ever crowned the "Queen of the Manginas" by myself or any one else for that matter. I believe the person with that particular rather dubious honor was no other than "Algina" real handle "AlfredReader"

I know you were a Dungy fan, do you have any recollections that are at odds with what I found?

He simply did not have the heart to bring up other transgressions by Brother Scoed.  As for the Dungbeetle, I recall the famous monger who dubbed him that but can barely recall Alfred Reader so I can't debate the issue.

I was the second highest reviewer nationally on another site that closed down in September of 2015.  That's when I started reviewing here, so my 86 reviews cover about 15 months, and I'm behind six reviews right now on ladies I have seen but not yet posted reviews for.  Its true that I rarely review indies because its too easy for them to link my TER handle to my RL name from the detail I normally include in my reviews.  Anonymity is more important to me than getting the VIP credit for additional reviews.

You could have saved yourself the embarrassment if you had done a word search under my handle.  It has been discussed several times over the past year that I only started reviewing here a little over a year ago.  I never felt the need to post reviews in more than one place, so at the present, I review only on TER.  If you check the list of prolific posters for this board, you will see I joined TER in 2008, but no reviews here until 2015.  Now, don't you feel just a little bit stupid for not doing your homework before contradicting someone?

I thought going to college and taking the mandatory English courses would help, but it didn't. I only passed even with me spending hours fixing every error on every paper because I hired a professional editor to proof read everything. My total lack in ability to write well is a hindrance.

It was a long time ago and I can't find the post. I admit I could be mistaken. Anyway the title "Queen of the Manginas"  was taken. I do remember that.

And for him missing a few of my errors, give him a break. An average post from me has so many one would have to write a book to point them all out. I am just glad he pointed out the few he did.
