I strongly suggest bringing an American gal with whom you will try out for a weekend first before you head off to Europe for 4 days.

Four days is a long time to be with someone whom you end up disliking.   Add to that the stresses of being at a wedding and you have a recipe for disaster.

Also, assuming this woman will be your escort at the wedding, you might find a back story that explains that you are with someone not from where you live (I'm assuming you are American, n'est-ce pas?) to be hard to come up with.

In any case, good luck with this one.

If it were I doing this, I would just research some short  time locals whom you could release some stress with during down times abroad, but I give you chops for thinking big.

I should point out though that I am based in UK and the wedding is in Monte Carlo so I would prefer a lady based in Europe so that I can "try them out" with an overnight first.

That being said, these 2 suggestions are so good that I may travel to US to try-them-out!

Unfortunately, Liz is only 5'4" tall and (as a tall guy myself) I was hoping for someone nearer 5'9".
