I couldn't sleep last night and to pass some time spent a couple hours just reading random reviews.

I couldn't believe the graphic, detailed, and in a lot of cases, downright mean and nasty things posted about the women. Picking apart looks, weight, odor, where they lived, giving really low scores, etc.

Have you ever contacted a client after the fact if they left an unfair or incredibly inaccurate review?
Do you just take it as part of the job?

I ask this not to justify anything I've done (I clearly have not posted any reviews, nor am I certain I will yet)

But I thought about the correlation in my own line of work where folks can leave detailed reviews about my personality and craftsmanship (Angie's List) and I have to sometimes respond.

Most of the time arguing with a customer is a waste of time, and you rarely can truly say what you feel.
But P4P isn't exactly a case of "Same rules apply."

Is to never talk about reviews.

As we all know the main purpose of the review system is to provide *cough*jack off material*cough* insight to what a potential encounter with a certain provide may entail. Though the system is in dire need of improvement, I do believe it serves a purpose.

Like you, from time to time I do browse reviews for no purpose other than to pass time and some of the things I've read are just cruel. I've read reviews where it seems the author wrote the piece with no other motive than humiliate the provider. I understand that sometimes it is necessary to share ones less than satisfactory experience, but to call another human being gross, ugly, disgusting, smelly, "ugly", "okay if you're drunk" or any of the other degrading terms some reviewers choose to use (and that TER encourages) not the way to go about it. Perhaps some forget that these providers are real people with real feelings... I don't know.

Either way, the industry is customer service based and as with all service positions, the customer is always right. Arguing with bad or just plain inaccurate review is likely to get you labeled BSC or accused of trying to manipulate reviews and further tarnish your image. To answer your question, no, I would likely not respond to an unfair review because that becomes more trouble that it's worth.

Where the service can add a rebuttal for unreasonable or down right wrong reviews. Usually it is a he said/she said situation unless there is email or other proof the hooker can use to back up her story.

because some providers have told me they've done it. Not because of simple meanness, but for something dangerous (eg too much detail about location of provider's incall) or inaccurate to the point it would give readers the wrong idea about the provider in a significant way, eg that she did something she doesn't do. One provider I know well had a review claim she did BBFS when she doesn't offer FS at all; she figures it was a "revenge" review because she said "NO" when he pressured her for FS. She delisted when she couldn't get the review pulled; her inbox was full of requests for dates after that review was published.

Frankly, I have found marginally low reviews where the actual text said something like "she wasn't my type, I went anyway & I was right" and a notch low on the score.  I find that I am likely looking for something different that that reviewer & I discount his review heavily.  I certainly throw out the lowestr review (per page).  I have seen some guys who throw out the high & low...  to get a fairer analysis...  I see the value in this approach.
While I do loook at the number scores, really the text is much more useful to me.

Could you imagine the drama and mud slinging if it was?! We already have trolls and white Knights out the ass on here as it is.

Does the reviewer have other reviews? How to they compare with this one?

Does the girl have other reviews?  Are they consistant?  Does YMMV seem normal for this girl?

Fact filled negative reviews are good information.  Cruelty and bashing are easy to recognize.  Maybe the girl had a bad day or maybe the reviewer is just a jerk. You need further info to be certain.

If a girl responds online it is easy to tell if she is responding objectively.

It might explain a ton of things especially why some services were not rendered. I keep going back to that disgusting old fart who wore depends but only changed them maybe once a day and showered every other day...he gave a hooker a bad review because she actually mentioned his lack of hygiene as he was whining about most hookers did not provide the services to him others got in their reviews.

That would have been the PERFECT scenario if she was able to explain in detail why she refused what she refused. And why YMMV is a real thing and not just a way for hookers to avoid services.

If I truly believe a review is undeserving or illegitimate I go straight to the TER ADMIN.

Now, if I see someone trying to cause ill-will towards me on threads, I will vocalize myself.

Many other P4P review sites already allow them. It would be invaluable screening tool. You can learn more about a person in how they respond to their reviews sometimes then the review itself.  And believe it or not review drama isn't that more then we already have.

How one defends themselves reveals loads about the truth behind a matter.

That's why lawyers rarely let their clients testify

The main purpose of the reviews is to keep people from getting ripped off.

Before I discovered TER, I got ripped off about 20% of the time, and disappointed another 30%. Now I never do - if I've checked reviews.

Not saying the reviews don't get jacked off to or used to light some fire, but that isn't the main reason they are there.

I use reviews to see if she's offers what I want...  and to avoid rip-offs & didsappointments.   I don't write erotic stories & reviews are unsuitable if that's your goal.

they do.  I did a couple of reviews where I pointed out a few shortcomings (mainly hotel quality and scheduling issues) but gave an otherwise good review with good (8's) scores and received flame-mails from the providers as a result.  One replied "shame on you, this is how I feed my children" after she insulted me and my appearance and my performance.  It's a damn shame since she had all the makings of a top-shelf provider but was unable to accept constructive criticism.  Her blame everyone but herself attitude will be her limiting factor.

I used to give generous and gentle reviews but some can take no constructive criticism at all.  I don't need the drama so I don't write reviews any more.

for me to write a poor review. I've only done one, as much for the provider and agency so the woman can do what she needs to to avert this from happening again. If it's my first time with her, it's my last.
But an amazing traveling vixen was under the weather last year and only mentioned it when, instead of cuddling and going for Rnd 2, she moved as far away from me as possible on the bed with our heads at opposite ends of the bed. She admitted she had a lot on her mind and had a terrible headache and thought she could perform better.

I countered by swinging around and massaging her temples, neck an shoulders for a good 20-30 minutes. A week later I got a beautiful email from her apologizing and thanking me for how I treated her. I'll see her again when she's in town, Ben Franklin willing?

We all have off days. To me, it depends on our connection.
