I recently did some nice photos for an adult web site, the gal i photographed refered a girlfriend  to me. This friend hasn't contacted me yet, but I had a URL to her web site. She has a nice looking pay web site. While looking around the site I thought she looked familiar... so I did a search in TER database and sure enough she came up as a TOTAL RIPOFF! Actually under several names at that. Same exact photos on her escort ads and her pay site.

Should I take the assignment if asked? I don't do this type of photography for my living just for fun and a little extra cash.
If I did the equivilent of what I read she did in the reviews; I would be accepting big bucks in advance, taking pictures for a while and then at the end I would say - "OH! If you want me to put film in the camera thats another $400"

I think you should take the photography referral and do the job.  Besides, it is your reputation that's out there.  As long as she doesn't rip you off and not pay you for the photo shoot, then where is the problem?  Hope you don't pull a stunt like you mentioned and ask extras for the film..  *grin*  Although not a bad idea though.  *shrug* Just one man's opinion...

But would be very careful taking someone's money without intent to perform. What some dishonorable person does should not influence you to act similarly. Even in reciprocation.

Take the job and deliver the goods BUT insist on cash up front.  And let her know you want the cash up front BECAUSE of the reputation she has as a provider.

I am glad some people got the joke. This is a true situation however.  It was intriguing to me to know up front what kind of woman I would be dealing with should I get the call. What I hoped to bring up was how people like her think they can screw someone over financially and get away with it.
It always catches up to you somehow. Glad we have TER, there is more uses for it than just the "hobby".

I think that my rate will be higher should this one happen I will deliver great shots and get paid up front. These gals are charging way more per hour than I do, they can afford it. If she was a legitimate provider I would be inclined to charge a more reasonable rate. Oh and as far as keeping the hobby separate from my proffessional life I do that by not doing trade out. That is a slippery slope.
