This discussion board always refers to “experienced hobbyists”, especially in regard to scheduling previously unrated providers. I am just wondering what other hobbyists’ decision points are for just walking away from what appears to be a bad situation in the making. That is, does it take opening the door to a completely different provider than advertised? What if she’s otherwise not too bad? What if it appears that it may be the same provider, but she is significantly different than represented in her photo spread (much older, much fatter, whatever)? Is the decision affected by whether it’s an incall vs. outcall?
As for me, I have turned away an outcall at my hotel door twice, when they were clearly different providers and not nearly as desirable as the ones advertised. I have walked away from two incalls, when the provider was the one advertised but was very much less appealing than pictured. In all these cases, I gifted a token amount. In the first examples, I really didn’t think they deserved even that, since there was clear deception involved. When I look back, there have been at least a couple more that I wish I had just walked away from, but soldiered on out of some stupid sense of responsibility. Two in particular involve providers that advertise a lot but do not allow TER reviews. Whenever I see their continued ads, I get nauseous.
If I'm not mistaken, that would probably get them de-listed on TER. No more ads after that.
I know of many ladies with little or no presence on TER, no or very few ads reviews, no ads or posts, yet it is hard to see them as they are booked solid. Heck very few ladies even advertise on TER in my area. Why should they? TER has a poor ad to booking ratio. Most don't think it is worth there time even though it is free. TER is useful but not all that important.
Just it is not the end all be all that many hear claim it to be. Believe it or not but most hobbyists don't have a TER account and for that matter neither do most ladies. I can count the number of ads placed for my area since I started on my fingers and still have change. Only one lady posts stuff with any frequency and she only pops up a few times a month.
TER does have the best review section for my area, but it is not the best place to back-channel nor is it the only place with reviews. TER is a great screening tool and the boards are entertaining but if it went away not much would change other then I would miss the friendship I have formed with some. I stand by my statement that TER is not that important.
Scoed, you might as well save your breath. There are just some who don't want to hear reality or read what you wrote. They are happy in their cozy little world and you're just confusing them with reality.

--Looks like you jumped to the conclusion that these providers must be posting on TER even though the OP said no such thing.

--Proving (in case anyone still had doubts) that you either can’t or won’t be confused by what people actually write. Are you really thinking people should flee useful sites and spend their time on useless ones? Just because you might do that regularly doesn’t make it a good practice.

So in a flash of insight that would be worthy of Forrest Gump you deduce that my post has nothing to do with the topic. Yours might not be the most toxic post on here, but it was one of the weirdest. Anytime you want to you can decide to READ as well as THINK ABOUT posts before you throw rocks at them.
I know three really UTR's, two don't advertise anywhere and one has an ad up on another site but it hasn't be updated in a long time, even has an old phone number.
They all get all the work they want, no ads on TER, no reviews. So, how did I find them? At a couple Meet & Greets. That is how they meet new guys, too.
One has never had a review done, one had her TER reviews pulled and the last one has reviews but asked me not to post one as she didn't want her BF to see she was still working.
They all have their reasons, and whatever works best for them is fine with me.
But, damn, they are great ladies.
It has its strengths and weaknesses like any other. Some parts of the country it's invaluable. In other areas it's gotten little traction and only a relatively small # of providers use it. The need for a woman to have a web site before she can be reviewed keeps many very, very good providers off here.
Agree. very few high end providers have accounts or posts here even because high end clients do not care about this forum or know it exists. Many users do not realized that for the ladies being reviewed is not that important after all.
This website would have much more credibility if the mods would allow negative reviews. I mean really. Who wants to write a 200 word blow by blow to get a review 'approved' when a negative experience takes all the desire to write porn just to get a review past the blow-by-blow censors.
Don't be an enabler for this behavior.
If a provider shows up and is not the one you believed she to be then I'd turn her away. Whereas if she's not a total loss and you have a decent time I'd still review her and let others know you had a good time but she was "not as described". You can review her on here. She can't prevent it....If she was untruthful people need to know. Likewise I would go on your local hobby sites and let others know as well. Some people do look for specific girls.Specific heights,hair color etc; if she is not as she described then they could very well show up and be putt off. And the truth is most guys will not ditch the situation and go through with it then come here on ter and complain. So thus they will further enable her to keep deceiving people which is not right.

But I left her the full rate anyway. It's very unusual for me to leave. I usually find things interesting and worth exploring, no matter how weird they are. It's just paying for education rather than sex. The people are always real.
I never hired the yeller/swearer again, but I saw her a lot thereafter. I actually have a lot of respect for her now. I'd still never hire her again, though, except maybe to annoy her. But I think she wouldn't fall for it.
your gut. If I'm traveling to a city for business, I have a plan B and sometimes a plan C.
knock knock. I look through the peephole in the hotel door. Opps, wrong lady. I do not answer the door and dial up plan B. If the knocking persists, call hotel security and get the troublemaker taken care of.

I have walked a couple times from a incall when she was clearly not as advertised.
Had a few second delay from a walk away, when her pimp confronted me a few doors down.
He expressed his opinion with violent overtures , I owed for leaving.
I won the argument.
To insure my luck continues,since that day I am much more diligent, when researching TER reviews.
yes they will git it pulled but those who read will remember in the back of their head. We have several in the tampa area that keep posting adds, not on ter, but have had reviews on ter in the past and have been pulled. But I know to stay away.
. .. . . when I'm talking or exchanging emails with a gal I haven't seen before, I always insist in confirming, "are these your real pics?" And inform them if you show up (or if I show up) and you look nothing like the pics, I'm turning you away, so don't waste my time. Of course I try to say this in a polite way but they get my drift. Sure, some bait and switch will happen anyway, but I warned them ahead of time that I'm not afraid to say GTFO. It's my fucking hard earned money and I will pay for what I want. We don't accept substitutes in any other services or products -- if I order something off the internet like some electronics, and they send me the wrong thing, it goes back. Why should it be any different for this area of commerce? I have handymen or contractors do work at my house, if they install the wrong tile or paint the wall a different color than I asked for, it's not acceptable. If I order a steak at a restaurant and they send me fish, it goes back to the kitchen!
