Why do I work this "job" instead of something where I disappear for 40+hours a week? Because I make sacrifices to give my child the best possible start in life. That means giving her a full time stay at home mom, who as a single mom would otherwise have her spending most of her days being raised by strangers in a daycare.

Many women become providers BECAUSE of their kids.  I doubt anyone is working as a provider because they want to avoid a mainstream job.  I've heard time and time again women who are mothers do this to spend MORE time with their kids.  You work less, you get paid more and you aren't going to get fired if you have to tend to a sick kid for days at a time.  My mom got fired from two different jobs because she had to bring my little sister to a bunch of medical appointments because she almost drowned in the care of her dad.  We became homeless as a result.  If she worked as a provider she would have income still coming in and would have time to take my sister to appointments and we wouldn't have ended up homeless.  Your logic is faulty and demeaning.  Women have been providing for their children and families for CENTURIES by doing this.  I applaud the mom who choses to only work a few hours a week to spend more time with their children who will definitely benefit from it.  There are moms out there who do nothing but work and hardly ever see their kids.  In fact there was an incident in Detroit where the mom worked two full time jobs and her son somehow got a pistol and shot a little boy.  Parents who spend more time with their kids are less likely to have delinquent children.

While you're out SPENDING your children's and wife's money, we are the ones using that same money to put our children in private school. While we are on the subject, how many hours a week do you and your wife work? How many hours did your children have to spend in daycare from years 1-4? Mine spent none, because servicing dumb asses like you allowed me to be with my child during those years.  

Your point was a cheap shot at providers who work by fucking men like you. It's work, like cleaning toilets, or doing rectal exams as a doctor. We all get paid for doing something for a living.

I am pretty sure we are better mothers because we make our own hours (spending more time with our kids) and we do not have to worry about not getting that Child support payment our dead beat ex's never send..

See I know my sister is an abysmal excuse for a mother, to the point where my nieces will jump at any chance to be anywhere but with her. I've seen providers who are far better parents.

There are several others I know were hookers and had successful kids. The thing is most people don't admit to being hookers, so MLK's mom could have been one, but we would never know it. Your mom might be one, but she just hasn't told you.

and I know some highly educated 9 to 5 civvies who are horrible mothers. If she provides for her family, and the children are happy and healthy then the "job" becomes less relevant.

here and elsewhere who make shots at hos don't even realize that their moms may have been one, but of course isn't going to tell them. lol

You and your sidekick sat around and talked about how successful you both were and credit your mothers.  You also determine that since neither of your mothers were providers, it is impossible for providers to be as good a mother as your and your sidekicks were.  That's just stupid.  

I am not a mother... but I tend to believe that any gal that does this without an addiction is doing it for their family.
