This question is for seasoned gents, and I'm requesting responses to be geared toward other seasoned gents.

Guys, do you ever (or have you ever or MIGHT you ever) book with an unreviewed provider?  ...or as we say TOFTT.

If your answer is "NO" across the board on this, we all know the good reasons why not, right?  

But, if your answer is "YES"...

What has your experience taught you about picking a potential hidden gem?
Is there a certain criteria you use?  
What non-review verification methods do you employ?
 ... and so on.

While some may infer this inquiry refers to the plethora of posts on BP, all of you truly seasoned gents know there are many other ways of finding unreviewed providers other than that.

What say you?

I would say the first rule of TOFTT is "be prepared to walk", So many guys see unreviewed providers and the first thing you read in their reviews was "it wasn't the girl in the pics BUT I was already there so I figured WTF" the next line invariably goes "things went downhill from there"

At the first sign of B&S, upselling, or anything else the least bit deceptive on the part of an unreviewed provider, you have to be prepared to simply end the session before it ever begins and leave with ALL your money in hand.

It also helps to have read thousands of ads and reviews to be able to recognize obvious rip off and B&S ads, but if there is just one thing that anyone ends up learning on this thread it's "Don't reward bad behavior" don't give a cancellation fee, don't leave "cab fare" don't leave one red fucking cent if you feel you have been deceived. It's also nice to have a back up plan, like a good reliable agency, an ATF or reputable AMP in the area so your day isn't a total loss if your TOFTT doesn't work out.

.... In the abscence of reviews I need to acertain three things to make the jump - are the photos real, are her breasts natural and does she supply the services I require. As Gambler said in his post it helps to have gained experience scowering thousands of ads. I do a photo search or ask for candid shots. As for breasts and services, I just ask. Some respond, some do not. Once I do make the jump my chances of a real good time are the same as if she was well reviewed.

Most recently a hottie from Montreal, but I'd already met her, saw how gorgeous she was and she was a friend of another Canuck who is reviewed.  So it wasn't exactly a shot in the dark.  I've also done it with a few agency girls, though I don't really consider it TOFTTing when you know the head of said agency.  Beyond that, I stick to well-reviewed girls.

and before you say it. Yes, since I haven't reviewed any of these girls, I haven't actually TOFTT either, more of a TOFM (Take one for myself) in my case.

Actually in Atlanta several years back a few of us started a TOFTT clue,  we put together a list of unreviewed ladies that we all agreed were worth taking a chance on and every week or so, one of us would take the plunge. The only problem was we were all a bunch of horny bogarts and no one wanted to wait their turn. One time there was this new asian agency and it was my turn, so I tried every girl in their stable before reporting back. I might be a pig, but I am a fat happy pig. lol

Maybe part of my comfort in seeing unreviewed ladies is that fact that I do so much mongering in Latin America where the hobby is legal and there isn't as much need for reviews, most of my action there is bar action where I can pick and choose who I see, instead of waiting to see who actually opens the door. I turn down a lot of chicas in bars who don't meet my standards, so walking out on a B&S is no biggie to me.

I got rushed once, timed out & left incomplete on the other.  With more experience, I will take a chance on fewer reviews but I won't waste my time trolling AD sources.  It's much more efficient to start with TER.  
What would it take?  An unreviewed TER lady...  ads on my local board...  Some TER posting presence (within the rules).  Some communication back & forth via email.

Let me start by saying I do not TOFTT ever based on a BP ad. Depending on where you are, LE is often running BP stings, and they are learning and improving how they operate, too (okay, they could be learning and improving, so it is best to assume they are). Plus, it is too easy and cheap to run a BP ad, so it is a great place for rip offs. And, for the most part, I find that the ladies I like do not use BP much anyway.

I do it because something about the lady, how she presents herself, attracts me. Usually that means a certain look, a certain intelligence in her presentation of herself.

My next step is to do a series of searches on all the information I have about her. This is done primarily to assure that she is not associated with any known scams, but I also check to see what else comes up. If you want to know more about what I look for in this search and review of the information I can find about her, feel free to PM me. I will not post it publicly, or share it with someone who does not have a verifiable track record of their own.

If I am still interested, I give her a call, and we begin a dance of mutual screening. I do not ask her for any specific information, just indicate that since I need to screen her and ask what she would offer to set my mind at ease. Ladies do not seem surprised by this, and always have had ready answers. They can range from web references that tell me more about her, what she has been doing before starting to provide, to referring me to common friends. No matter where you are, I think the sex work world is a very small one. So if you have been doing this for any time at all, you will have friends in common with her. And if you do not, you probably should not TOFTT yet.

I think it is key to take your time when you are doing this. If a lady is serious about providing, having a couple of conversations with you over a week or so should not be an issue. And it eliminates a lot of potential risks, as most stings and scams need to happen fast to work. So if the lady is pressuring you to meet now, or if you are looking for someone to see tonight, my advice is to look elsewhere. But if you are prepared to take your time and do your homework, there are definitely benefits to this.

I know there are others who do it quite differently, and their approaches work, too. For me, they seem risky and focus on a different type of provider than I want anyway. There is one other, important thing, to keep in mind. The odds of getting busted are always going to be very low, and if you are a tough guy you can probably minimize the risks of being ripped off in most circumstances. So someone could play TOFTT for a long time without any good plan for avoiding the risks and do fine. So just because you have done okay, not gotten ripped off or busted, it does not mean your screening methods are working. It could simply indicate that the odds are always in your favor, and the long shot has not come home to bite you in the ass, yet.

recommends her to me...Sometimes these girls have friends that want to try things out.. I have had girls recommend me other girls. Some of them turned out to be real good.. Others, not so much.

I don't troll BP for thrills. If some people want to do that even after knowing about TER, well.. its their style.. Certainly not mine...

Two cases involved new gals who came to TER and started to post.  They had good websites and we conversed a bit back and forth so I felt comfortable with them.

The third was a recommendation from another provider I trust.

All three times worked out very well.

I live in an area that's a bit distant from L.A., and not too many TER providers make a trip up here, so occasionally I see some BP girls. When I do research on the Internet, I look for some kind of review; but if not, I look for those with "real" photos--not photoshopped or stolen from someone else.  Even is she doesn't have reviews, if there is a long string of adds from various places, I presume she is legit. If I call, I listen to what she has to say. If she sounds cautious, I take that as a good sign. If she is very suspicious, even more so. I would presume LE want to haul in as many as possible during a sting, not weed them out. And when I meet, I like to see her make a move on me. If she grabs my genitals, she is gold! But some girls are a bit more reticent.  

One caveat--a good review isn't always the whole truth. I went to see a woman with several good reviews. When I met her, she didn't look as good as the photo--few do--but to my surprise, her ass looked like the moon, it was so cratered by cellulite. And she wondered why I wasn't so responsive. As the song said, "Nobody told me about her, but they all knew."

TER and that was because she was recommended by another provider i had seen a few times. So basically "No" i will not anymore, those days are gone.

This was back in my more adventurous Craigslist days.  If they advertised the unusual skill I was looking for, I would call.  I always did a screening interview over the phone before booking.  Did not find any gems, but did not run into problems either.  These days I stay with well reviewed girls

board posts (newbie providers) and then through either emails or phone calls, I will TOFTT.

The results have been very positive.  Hence the advice given to newbie ladies is to make yourself known on your local board by posting your thoughts as well as pics on theme days.
