A massage parlor that I frequent was busted once, but up and running again ASAP.  A strip club in Canada I used to visit was shut down one day before I arrived.  Saw the bust on the news from my hotel lol

Long ago, back when cell phones were too large for a breast pocket and all they did was make telephone calls I got popped in a sting that was set up on a popular boulevard “stroll”.

 The coppers all acted real tough, and did their best to make me (and others) feel like some kind of deviant, second class citizens. I and the other hapless gentlemen were all booked on site in a cheap motel room and then sent on our way with a promise to appear “ticket” in our possession.
The fine was about $100.00 more than a carpool lane violation. I (we) were made to take a mandatory 8/hour “aversion” class,  
and for three years if found in the vicinity of the “arrest” without demonstrable proof of legitimate business being conducted I(we) could be charged with a “parole” violation.

  Overall all I learned that like any ‘morality’ crime the efforts to dissuade were at best effete and only proved to breed contempt for government, the law, and its police.

the ole memory cells are having difficulty retrieving) the session was cancelled.  That day, cops knocked on her door, set up shop in her apartment, and as they guys showed up, they took their money and told them to go away... the confiscated the ladys computer, and funds... and told her to leave town...  wow!  missed it by "that much!"

What I learned - there are very few sure things and this hobby as a specific amount of legal risk assigned to it.  If you know that and are willing to accept it, then you are ok. if not, well!  you are on your own.

Close (very) Once. But I Was Smarter Than Them

Chicago PD set up a sting in the early days of Craigslist. It was a pretty well thought out sting too. They booked several days in advance, called a day early to confirm, 2 call system on day of appt at very upscale hotel downtown. When I got to the room the picture from the ad was really of the female cop too. So far, no LE warning bells are going off at all.  

Small talk ensues, I see some lube and condoms on the night stand. Then she blurts out...what do you like, I can do bbbj for $XX extra, greek for $XX extra, etc.. At this point I still wasn't suspecting LE, but I knew better than to agree to anything and I just said "I could really use a massage, how about we do that".

In pounce the goons from the adjoining room telling me I'm under arrest. She immediately says "damn...he didn't agree to anything".  They drag me into the adjoining room where there's 4 cops all watching video monitors and recording everything on laptops. I told them to review the tape and all I asked for was a massage. They reviewed the tapes and ultimately let me go.  The 2 guys in the room before I got there, as well as the 3 that got nabbed after me, weren't so lucky though!

Scared me pretty good though. I'd never had an LE encounter in 8 years of hobbying before that.
