Whatever you did to wrong her, continuing to bring it up is probably NOT a good thing.

Time heals all wounds, though scars may remain.  I would just drop the subject entirely.  By that, I don't mean announcing that you are dropping it.  Just drop it.

Certain things have pushed my buttons over the years, and over the months on this board.  It's really easy to take the bait, but you have to just not do it, no matter how much the other side (or even third parties) might try to set you up.

London herself seems reasonable most of the time, when you get right down to the heart of it.  I will probably never be her friend and I will probably never get along with her fanboys (and, incidentally, I don't think she wants them to be her fanboys, but they are, so whatever).

At the same time, while I cannot control what they want to say to goad me, I do have control over myself.  Just as you do.

So use this as a starting point.  Never talk about this again.  Never.

Move on.

I don't think London asked for that fanboy club, but she has one.  Because she is the most prolific poster on this board, she is gonna have fans.  And if you're the new guy on the block and your opinion disagrees with hers, you are fair game--no, a target--for the other board cronies here.

Again, not that London ever asked for that, but that's the reality.

As a person who has been on that side of the fence, I will say that the only way to deal with it is to ignore it.

It's not about you.  I was referring to the fact that saying anything bad about London is a losing proposition on this board.  If you think I was referring to YOU as one of her fanboys, you are completely off-base.

I am merely saying that London has a lotta fans/fanboys on this site.  And if you say something about her, be prepared to be trashed.  That's just the way it goes.  Does London control them and ask them to post on her behalf?  No, I don't think so.  But some of these guys have no mind of their own, and they simply post on her side, just as blindly as, say, some right-wingers will blindly support Sarah Palin.

Now...I am not making any comparison between London and Palin, so let's not go there.  London knows where I stand with her, and there is no beef between the two of us.  We are cool, and I understand how to best interact with her.

Seriously, really, you should do whatever the fuck you want.  You came on as Serpius, then changed your name to something else, and you could not help but continue to post the same thing.  You even PM'd me several times to tell me your one side of the story, and I told you to just drop it.  You didn't listen, kept posting about it, and then it got worse.  Now, in a hopefully final word, you finally post this thread and say, "I'm sorry for whatever I did."  Great.

My SUGGESTION to you (and you can do whatever the fuck you want, because I am not TELLING you what you can and cannot say) is that you just fucking drop this.  Drop it.  Because London is one of those people (as others are) that if you bring up the past again and again, it will cause her to go postal.  I am saying this because I have been on the other side of many a topic with her where this has happened.  The mere mention of a topic where she/I have butted heads is not a good idea at all.  I mean, don't even mention anything more than you're sorry, but you have managed to turn a "I'm sorry" to you fighting with me on me giving you a mere suggestion.

As far as fanboys...for fuck's sake, I am trying to make this as clear as possible.  Because London has so many fanboys on this board (I don't consider you one of them), you should know that it is not advisable to continue to bring up incendiary topics/issues that will not only irritate London, but all of her fanboy supporters, who will simply take her side because many of them may just simply want to stick up for her.  Whether that's being a WK or not, I don't fucking care, but that's the facts.  And London, for the record, doesn't ask those guys to get involved.  They just do.
