I'm really interested in seeing a provider from another state.  Is it OK to send an e-mail directly to her asking if she will be traveling to my area in the near future or is that on the tacky side?

If you are not prepared to fly her out, don't bother asking. Why? Because odds are when she can or does show up, the very guys who requested her will be "at work, out of town, or broke." It is a baseless question unless you have the means to get her there. If she has a calendar, it will be posted provided she keeps things updated. It is not a tacky question, but it is rather pointless to ask unless you have the intention of paying her to be there on your dime.

I literally get hundreds of these questions daily, and just started putting the answer in my auto response and on my website. Unless you are paying to fly me there, I won't be there. Every time I have toured and told the very guys who insisted I visit I was planning a trip, 4 out of 5 were always strapped for cash, busy, sick, just spent money on a provider last week, or whatever other reason that prevented them from seeing me..with the exception of Cleveland lol. . So, the point of wasting time sending all those emails was just that...wasted time.

If you cannot GUARANTEE a meeting (which only a deposit or upfront payment will do), it is pointless to ask, but not tacky or rude...no.

Not tacky at all. This is how I have chosen some of the places I have traveled too. If you are really serious and can schedule at least two weeks out and actually keep the date, then feel free to ask. If someone wants to see me and they are in another state, I will book at least a 2 hour with them and then I will throw some visiting ads up. It usually works like a charm.

I'm guessing the next thing is you'll want me to get you a hotel room if I only want to book a 4 hour date.  What's next and upcharge for Greek?

If you want to ask something inane as that, I don't see harm. Also keep in mind that sometimes they don't respond because they get ton of these questions.

Also, I don't like flying woman out to me. Too much shit can go wrong.  If I can afford her plane ticket, I can certainly afford to go visit her. That way I have more control over things, and if meeting her doesn't pan out, I can see someone else.

The worst that can happen is that they'll say no; and maybe they'll say yes.

Some gals have a deal whereby if you sponsor them (i.e. pay for their airfare) you'll get extra time with them.

I've done this many times, or sometimes I fly out to them.

If they have been getting a lot of interest from guys in a certain area, they may even come out on their own, but they'll never know unless you show that interest.

I hadn't thought about the availability thing.  I don't travel much and my schedule is VERY open and VERY flexible.  I just assumed that if I were to make a commitment, I'd damn well follow through (obviously, there is a high interest on my part to see her).

But I guess that's not always the case....which is part of the reason I asked!

Don't have a confidence problem.  Just new to this and want to be respectful (and make sure I'm never the subject of one of LR's rants).

When I was active, I used to get a lot of those emails, despite not being a touring provider.  I finally put it as one of the first FAQs on my website, and would still get asked a few times a week.

But if she tours, and has no schedule outlined on her website, I think it's a fair question to ask!

without a deposit, you can't guarantee you won't get hit by a damn bus when she arrives in town. Not a rant...a fact.

You can either ask her if she posts her travel schedule or ask her if she would be willing to email you the next time she's near your city.  The third option (depending upon your budget) is to just pay for her to fly to you and then you can enjoy an exclusive arrangement.  Might be a difficult proposition for a first date, but it also might be the best date of your life.

I use the gmail labels feature for different cities and email the gents who have shown an interest, when I decide to head that way.  If any of them schedule, it's just icing on the cake in addition to the gents who have already scheduled with me from my visiting ads.

There is an old southern saying which has to do with advertising not politics.

"You've got to sling twice as much mud as what you want to stick."

A guy who request to fly over a provider must be prepared to shell out payment 24 hours after the request, via Paypal or Credit Card as an advance.  Otherwise, wtf  waste the ladies time.

Honestly, I understand these emails and I answer them as politely and professionally as possible because I have been known to tour (I just don't care for it and don't really have to) and a simple question that is interest in me deserves a polite, immediate response.

However, its really annoying when I have clients who write me repeatedly "when are you going to be here, when are you coming to my city, why don't you visit" with absolutely NO promise to book me or book a substantial appointment.

When we make a tour we're already $1k in the hole.

Make it good for a provider.  If you're going to write that email inquiry say that you hope to see her in your area and that you'll book two hours, three hours, four hours a dinner date.

Don't expect that other clients are going to subsidize her trip so that you can have your hour with her as conveniently to you as possible.

Another annoyance is the "will you visit my area?" then not booking, then complaining about a canceled trip and then saying something to the effect of "well I know you got booked up anyway because you're popular".
No, if you express interest in a girl coming to your city and she comes she is probably counting on you to follow through.  Don't be that guy who is just like asking someone to come and expecting other guys to foot the bill so its good for you.

....and tbh that's 1/2 of the reason why I've been interested to really try to travel where i've been and plan to go to.

For example Maine....I'd have probably never in my life tried Maine (or would've visited for any other reason either if I hadn't gotten inquiries about it. And i've been 3 times now and hope for more visits.    In a nutshell I think asking if she'll consider your area in the near future is just fine.

Anyone with an appointment with a local gal can get hit by a bus at anytime.  I would agree that you better pony up in advance if you are going to fly someone in.  In my situation, the provider would already have a scheduled trip to my area and I'd have to get in line like every other schmuck.

Thx. to everyone for the advice.

have screwed it up for the good guys who probably do come through. WHEN my expenses are paid, I will then place an ad and stay in town a few extra days.
