why do the women of today shave their pubic area? i can understand bikini lines, but to shave their entire pubic area so that they resemble a 10 year old girl is discomfitting to look at to say the least. do most of you guys find this attractive? are you ladies happy being put to this extra task?

Well, the reason I shave and have been shaving since i first started is because of a sport I was involved in. I was a professional swimmer.. That means I spent 4 hours a day in water 7 days a week 50 weeks a year for umm..let me think..15 years.(which by the way was 100 years ago).there we go.. we were required to shave all our body hair and keep our head hair as short as possible. SO, yes, I had a crew cut..and all body hair shaved..I have never gotten use to hair below as it were, so I continue to shave. I might consider a landings trip..but I hate the way it looks growing in..I am not hairy person, and what body hair I do have is blonde to light red ..

I been told by a wise lady it is a generation thing.  Her graying clients like the bush and her young bucks clients like the bald. The break point seems to be around 40 to 45 years of age.

My only gripe with the girls that shave is the stubble.  The girls always complain about guys with stubble, yet many of the shaved girls have the stubble down there.  How come?  I abstain from shaving for at least two days before an appt so I will get a better shave.  I would be happier if the girls would just shave close that day.  Sorry, girls, I don't like rubbing my face against your stubble any more than you like my stubble rubbing against your little bits.

30 yrs ago the pubic hair 'style' was waaayyy different. In the future, who knows? Don’t fashion trends run in 40 yrs, or something?

I notice that many of my heterosexual women friends, who are younger than me, consider shaving to be some kind of requirement, as in: they think they would be unattractive, or unappealing if they didn’t shave.  But that belief seems to be based largely on what they believe men like.

Personally, I’ve seen shaving or not shaving bridge age, politics, religion, sexual orientation……


It’s really not that big a deal either way (from my perspective). Yeah....clean is important and  I, personally, prefer some trimming.

But outside of that, I can’t think of a single time in my life that a stray pubic hair has ruined my sexual experience.....lol.....

My assumption is that, if more pubic hair was represented in porn, we’d see more men looking for big bushes. I think this overall shaving obsession of the last 10-15 yrs is, in large part, another example of the effectiveness of mass media.

Not this guy.  A big "buckwheat" type bush is such a turn off for me, and has been since I was a teenager 30 years ago.  I prefer a nice, neat triangle without hair running down both sides of the snatch and into the ass crack.  Oh gawd, that is a turn off for me.  Just like with big tits, I don't care what they do in porn, I like small perky tits, and trimmed bush. Two biggest visual sexual turn offs for me are big boobs and overgrown bush.

On the flip side, shaved is not my thing.  I've been with shaved women, and while again, not my thing, was not a turn off like a full blown buckwheat bush is.

Then I go back for the next waxing.  It's the best of both worlds!  

I totally agree with the stubble face rub theory and I don't like digging hair out of the back of my throat either!
