Very honest question here, as I am curious...

They have this ego, that has made them think that the provider wont be that way with them, because they are the  man the provider needs in order to to change their ways. They build themselves up as being better than the last guy, he is more charming, better looking, funnier and cuter

You don't always want a super crazy 10.

and I am really not trying to start crap, but if you read some of the reviews I read tonight... you'd be sick to your stomach! Not in my city btw. I was checking out other boards and looked at a few gals' reviews. No, I am not going to post them out of respect... but if you look hard enough, you shall see them.

some of these asshats are either too cheap or gluttons for punishment..probably both..they love playing in the shallow end..

even a 6, I've read reviews were hobbyists mentioned they'd repeat with a provider even after giving  a "nice time" 6.  After reading the review, based on what the juicy details mentioned, I thought it should have been  a higher score.  

Thinking about it from "state of your mind" perspective. There can only be 3 outcomes..

but my minimum is "a nice time" and I want to find her "attractive".   I don't see anything wrong with this, if this is the mood I'm in & the price correct for this level.  
If I can't say this, than I'm not going back!!
If I want a blow my socks off experience, then I look for something different.

Guys who scrape the bottom of the barrel are not egotistical but lack self esteem. They will only see the 5's and 6's because they are intimidated by beauty and performance.
They seek out the 5's and 6's because it's far better then what they get in real life, if they get any at all.

The only way that ego would play a part in your theory would be if a guy like myself would start seeing 5's and 6's which is less then what I get in real life. Of course that will never happen and I have friends who have agreed to put me out of my misery if I would do that. It's the humane thing to do.

I have no clue how to rate fucking on a scale of 1-10.
Appearance is a matter of opinion. So that is flawed too.

The numbers system is most certainly flawed. Some rate fairly some harshly. its human.

a 6 although we never want them really, they are not bad. you have a lot of 6s in looks ppl still see you. Its a perspective.
Some ppl find you beautiful and some find you average. Same goes for everybody else.
the numbers grading system really is pure opinion. Graphics are what make the reviews publishable.
good and bad.
Most of these guys know how to read the reviews weigh the didgets against the details they've been playin here long before you ever heard of TER.
Some like to hunt on BP for fresh meat lower rates an inexperienced. youll see in the review they get full GFE PSE Anal and overstay their time for half of what a well reviewed girl doing half that would allow. and she'd be mindful of the clock as well.
In the begining we all give a lil too much we are inexperienced not jaded and not pros. Its different. a seasoned pro is a different experience. We aren't all jaded but there are rules and they know how to behave with us fresh off the street you can get away with more, and for less.
Theres also the attraction factor, if shes their type they are gonna want to see her no matter if shes a 6 or a 9. The fantasy carries weight too.
And theres finances if shes in the budget. Some ppl will see girls based on their budget. They set their $$$ amount and thats it. They don't go over some set it low and get burned or see more *6s* than they do *9s* but to each their own.
In the end the little head usually wins the argument on who to see.

1) They are cheap.  Gals at that level are bottom of the barrel in price, too.
2) Some guys are just dumb.  They may be members here but don't know how to do their homework.

If you do a search for say 6-7 scores overall, you will find most are FBSM providers and don't offer FS or even a BJ. TER will not allow guys to score them over a 7 for just a massage and a hand job. I have always thought that the FBSM and GFE reviews should be grouped individually vs. against each other. So, in many cases that's what you're seeing. I could see avoiding 1-5 performances, but not 6s because of that reason alone.

As far as #2, that may well be true in some cases, but if a hobbyist is posting reviews, then he has the knowledge to research. Case in point, a lot of these hobbyists know full well what they are getting into.

I'm not so sure they know what they're getting into.  Why do you think so, as opposed to them just being too lazy to check?  Or, perhaps, it's because their need to get their rocks off overcomes their common sense?

to actually post a review then to research. One must do at least a minimal amount of research to find the provider in the first place. It may take me 15 minutes to read a few reviews, Google, and maybe back channel a little. It takes me longer to post an actual review (Although I am on a review strike).  

I think that this kind of ranking system would unintentionally harm some of the providers. I (and maybe others?) almost never repeat just because for now, variety is my main goal.  So saying "no repeat" would not be a reflection on the provider at all.  But that is how it would be taken.   And for most of the ladies I have seen, this would be an injustice and misleading.

I rely more on the text of the reviews. If I see a review with low scores I read it more carefully and then compare it to other reviews they have. It seems that some guys like to give mid-range scores even when they are satisfied with the date. I wouldn't rule out seeing someone with a 6 score, but would probably do more research to make sure potential for a satisfying experience is there.
