I've experienced both sides of the coin.  Both with providers wanting to hang out OTC and those who have insinuated hanging out OTC but not followed through.  I don't think it's lying per say, more along the lines of getting caught up in the moment I suppose.  As a client you have to know when and what is a dead end and just move on.  If a provider, stripper, civvie wants to see you then it will happen, if not don't expect anything.  Note what has previously occurred between the two of you and if you elect to see her again don't fall for the bs.

Shut the hell up...and temper your expectations...if you look at P4P as anything other than a business transaction those lessons should help alleviate disappointment...

I do a lot of business trips and there's this beautiful spot I think we'd have a lot of fun. I know all the great restaurants there. Do you have a passport? What would be your rate for a week in Florence? We could make love all day and explore the city by night. Do you have a ball gown? Can you ski? Have you ever tried escargots à la bourguignonne? I'll email you this week about setting up flights.

I know a few mature women that get caught up in the moment and the attention they get that they'll say almost anything like, "Let's meet OTC for drinks" or "let's have a date night" but when the time comes, it's crickets. When I hear that, it just slides off my shoulders as if it's a no big deal. Unless there's dinero involved, don't expect anything.

my regulars, and have always viewed it as merely a way of them showing their appreciation for my loyalty and continued patronage.  Sometimes it morphs into a more intense OTC relationship, but that is the exception rather than the rule.  Some guys who are offered an OTC date automatically assume the girl is into them and wants to turn it into a RL relationship.  You will know if it becomes more than just a rewards program like you have with your credit card.  She will be aggressive about wanting to see you more on the outside.  If you become aggressive about it, she will likely cut you off.  Be appreciative of what's being offered, but never expect that its more than it is.  For the regulars I see at least three or four times a month, they will suggest an outside OTC date every two or three months.  Its best to let them set them set the frequency and just go along and enjoy.

out in public, usually to an upscale place that they probably don't routinely go to.  Getting them out of the incall creates a break for them, too, and makes them feel a little bit normal even though you are a customer.  I also like adventure dates, i.e., helicopter rides, zip-lining, racing exotic cars on a track, etc.  Sometimes the outside dates are before or after a paid session, and other times they are stand-alone on a day the girl is not working.  It just depends on what she is comfortable with.
