how important is it that the provider speaks fluent english, and can sustain a fairly interesting conversation

because it hugely ironic that most of my extended dates, and a lot of my actual "real" relationships, are with women who barely speak English.

As they say, 93% of communication is "non verbal" I have had many civvie GF's who were not fluent in English and many extended "dates" of both the P4P and non P4P variety with women who barely spoke a word of English.

You would think a blabbermouth like me would consider fluency in English to be highly important, but in my case at least, it's barely relevant.

I like longer dates, and I actually think it would be a lot of fun to be on a date where we had to communicate without understanding the other's language.  It could be a real positive for me though I've never had such a date with anyone other than an English speaker... so thanks, you gave me an idea :)

She spoke really fragmented and broken English. I mean we could barely communicate at all. It was kind of funny as she would look on her phone for the english word and I for the right Spanish word. It was interesting and fun.

So almost all of our communication was non verbal. I can't really imagine doing that every session with different girls but I did see her a number of times and her English improved bit by bit over the months.

...wouldn't matter much, but if we're spending a weekend together, I wouldn't want hours of awkward silence or playing Charades.  I can 'conversate' in six languages (English was second) so it hasn't been a problem yet, but if I'm paying for her time, I'm not going to bust my balls trying to communicate with her after busting a nut in bed.

I haven't yet had the pleasure of having a longer session with anyone who didn't speak English. I wouldn't have a problem booking a longer session if we had things in common. I'm looking for a connection on these types of dates. Not love but a connection. I feel I can relate to anyone in this business based on how I was raised and based on my life experiences. I will be the first to admit my sessions are not for the faint of heart. I don't consider anyone I have seen as a provider I see them as friends. The way that a session is suppose to be therapeutic for me I make sure you get something out of the session as well. Everyone who spends time with me is better because of the experience. I truly believe this. A women who doesn't understand English might not get the same experience because of the language barrier.

I look forward to being ridiculed for the above statements but that's how I feel.

You weren't "at school." I fondly recall several field trips :-)

Choice of language is secondary...

Fortunately, I speak several, through no great merit of mine.

For me that is true even on "short" dates :-)

I haven't done longer dates, 2h max, but I'll answer anyway.

I'm a talker. In the 1-2h range, I am fine communicating non-verbally and those may have even been my BEST experiences. I have also spent time with intelligent, chatty hostesses and also had a good time.

If I were to go to longer times, I still envision enjoying two paths: I can fantasize about staring into the beautiful eyes of my non-English speaking fave for hours and hours without exchanging a word (would it happen or would I shift gears?); I can also imagine enjoying the longer, interesting debates with my English fluent hostesses (with occasional breaks for more physical exercise)

I'll keep you updated to any and all field trips. But I am really looking forward to midterms. LOL

She'll need to "bone up" to pass but there are always extra credit assignments she can take to make sure I don't whip her ass. ;

A man can't have non-stop sex (at least I can't). While cuddling is fun, I find it more enjoyable to talk while doing it. For anything longer than two hours, I would find a common language and a personal connection essential.

Unfortunately, while I know bits and pieces of several other languages, I can only carry on a conversation in English. Fortunately, I have noticed that escort s even in non-English speaking countries are more likely to be comfortable in English than the average person in that country.

while OK for the everyday, was far from perfect for the more involved discussion.

Nevertheless, we managed to have a very good time together.  It helped that we already knew each other for about 5 years (near monthly meet-ups) and had excellent chemistry.

Like GG said, most communication is non-verbal, and I enjoyed the chance to put myself in a new situation and see it play out well

i loved most of what you said. except the narcissistic part where you claim everyone who sees you "is better" after the fact. A little ego check might be in order here.

Gaga? MrFish? anything to add? Girls? No, nobody? ok.

Specifically Japan in the mid 50's I took 4 days leave before my ship was returning to the States where  I was going to be discharged. It was with a P4P girl I had seen several times. We went to Kobe and stayed at place she knew of at no cost to me. Her English was limited and my Japanese was even more limited but it wasn't a problem. we played tourist and lived as the Japanese did.It was a lot of fun. We corresponded in English for about a year after I was discharged. It was an memorable time in my life.

and one more thing I suppose. If the woman speaks no English at all, Asian languages are almost impossible to fake. Since I speak some Spanish and a very little bit of German, I have at least a starting point with most Romantic languages, but with the exception of just a bit of Cantonese, I am completely in the woods where it comes to the rest of the Asian languages and without even a  common alphabet to start with, its tough if you are going to spend more than a few hours together if she speaks no English whatsoever.

but as long as you have at least a basis for at least some form of verbal communication, I think it's fun to find different ways to communicate. Even right here at home I often find myself in situations where virtually no one but me speaks English, including family get togethers.

...and posited that the need to rely on non-verbal communication can actually enhance the experience. See the link below. A few other posters had experiences comparable to mine.

so it's difficult enough for me when the person I'm with is speaking English, anyway.  Heavy accents really throw me off.  So I generally prefer someone who is very fluent in English, and speaks loudly and clearly.
