I was picking up street walkers in Boston's combat zone starting in about 1985 or 86. This was shortly after both HIV/AIDS and Herpes became a reality and EVERYTHING was covered most of the time.  The women where beautiful, there where dozens of them working on any given night and many of them had in call locations in downtown hotels or apartments but there was pretty much no such thing as a BBBJ during that period of time. Seriously for a c note you could go to a 'massage parlor' which as others have pointed out were staffed by attractive non-asian chicks... most were young, a few were "seasoned" but all were there to provide a "massage."  The legal trick was you would go in, a line up was offered, and you selected a masseuse.  She would take you in the back, and give you a 15-20 min massage.  After that, you signed a release that stated you had in fact received a massage for pay.  The gal would take the form, disappear for a few min, and then come back and that was when the "real" session began.  Typically she would offer a menu of services and the price.  there was some "barter" but mostly ya got what was offered for the price.  She would then proceed.

I was partial to one place which had some real beauties.... and ond night I was with one and she said, "i want you to kiss me, cause it is my birthday!" I went to kiss her and she pushed me away and said, "no, silly, down there!"  a fun time was  had by all! lol

Generally speaking GFE was not provided, sex and oral sex was always covered, no kissing and DATY was seldom offered.  but the massages were good!

Occasionally I would get some hot chick who would only do mutual masturbation (those places still exist) but I do miss those lineups... they were simply spectacular.  There was one place in Philly that still had the line up about 5 years back - but alas - the internet has done to those types of setups.... the same thing it is doing to porn... it is rapidly ceasing to exist....

For me nothing has change about the way I handle myself. I have been GFE since I started way back when and it came naturally for me. Just a little over stimulated all the time in my 20's and wore out many men.

I used protection back then but did do BBBJ. I now understand why I had so many repeats after hearing all the stories of bad service in the early days. First I am older and not in demand as the younger ladies are and this has made me feel somewhat out of place at times.

My way of looking at things sometimes needs to change just so I am not taken advantage of which I hate. This is because so many shoppers use TER to get a good product at a good price and have no plans to return. I never thought that way before and now I do..This to me is very sad.

I have learned much about risk taking and keeping myself safe which has helped me move a little quicker into advertising on the web.

Now when a gentlemen tells me he has been busy with work and couldn't break free to see me I wonder in the back of my mind is he just saying that and seeing other ladies. I know that seems strange but when you see someone as long as I have been seeing many of my friends feelings do get involved.

I know variety is so accessible now and have a true picture of what I am dealing with as the clock keeps ticking and I am comfortable doing what i'm doing.

Generally speaking I see few TER members these days and am not that noticed on the Florida Board.

Frequently (all too frequently) I go to stripclubs, because I love to be noticed by hot young gals.  But I know they do not care for me... as a lover (yea, I've had sex with some).  Often, when I see the older stripper (and I am thinking of one in particular who resembles you in person, as we have met in person so I know).

You are all good girl... I do not know you personally but do not worry about that kind of stuff.  If you do what you do well, you will keep busy... and if they do not call then why bother?  It is not always about money, at times it is a connection we feel (that you expressed in above post)  So in my opinion, you have the correct way of thinking.  If it makes you feel better...
