This seems dumb to me on two levels.
1. Just because you prefer darker skin doesn't make her any less attractive. You can be an objective judge. I could prefer blonds, but still recognize that a brunette is a 10.
2. She's got pics. If you like em darker, why go to her and then lower her score because she looks like her pics?
well, i might as well defend this poor dumb schmuck (the reviewer that is) since i myself prefer brunettes and when scoring blondes (a relatively rare occassion) my personal preference is subconsciously factored in (sorry blondes!)
from what i've seen of the many hundreds of reviews on TER it is IMPOSSIBLE to have reviewers be objective (go against their own instict or preferences) ... so just give up, it ain't gonna happen
this could also be interpreted as he was raising the score as he preferred darker skin, but since you had the whole review, you are probably correct. A link to the review would be helpful.
I don't expect all reviews (or any) to be objective. But that's usually on a subconscious level. My issue is with the reviewer knowing it on a conscious level, and still scoring her lower because of his own issues.

Beauty is a personal matter some of us like them tall, others prefer short, some like fat other like skinny, some like big tits , others like just a handful, and some like light skin and others like dark. The beauty score is a personal judgement as is the performance score. Some guys like lots of teeth on a BBBJ others prefer gums, some guys like screamers others love it when girls pass out when they cum. Let's just accept that we can't be all things to all people.
Stating that his score is influenced by the shade of the providers skin in no different that stating that his score would be different if she had bigger boobs or a smaller butt... as long as it's scored as part of the "appearance" rating and not the "performance" side of the rating, it's a valid point.
And because someone prefers darker skin DOES make her less attractive, to HIM... When pornstar Brianna Banks was known as Mirage and had "B" cups, I didn't give her a second glance, but after she got implants and changed her name... Yowzah! I can't get enough of her videos...
As to why he chose to see her after viewing her photos, often the photos are Photoshopped and don't offer a true representation of the provider's true looks...

The way it's worded, he thinks she is better than a 7, but gave her a 7 because he prefers a different color skin. That's what I find bothersome. He admits she should be rated higher and that it's his hangup.
And, no, I never met the provider and have no attachment to her whatsoever.
