just a number.  Yet, what percentage of the providers that you see, state their age, rather "conservatively?"  Yes, it IS a business and marketing is a key component of any business.  But inquiring minds sometimes want to know.

I estimate about 75% of providers, conservatively state their age.  What is your estimate?

Because when I think of stating age "conservatively", I think of stating it as OLDER than actual age.  If someone were to state his or her age OPTIMISTICALLY or GENEROUSLY, then the age they state would be less than their actual age.  

In my experience, many providers understate their age, some are accurate, and a few (mostly younger providers) overstate it.  I know some providers who give a false age that's close to their actual age for privacy reasons.  Others... well, there's several possible reasons.  ;)

probably 90% look within a few years of the age they post. I'm not that great of a judge, but gravity sets in past 30 and it's hard to hide older hands.  

There are a lot of hot 30-somethings out there in the civi world, but hooker life seems to age women faster, so I aim lower and hope the pics are accurate.  

I'll take a few more years over 10 extra pounds any day!

Agree completely.  Close age claim is fine.  But inaccurate weight claims is a deal breaker.

agree...do not understand why lie about your age...i will be 44 soon and i have no problems with it...also, if there are others that do not want to see me because i may be too old for them, then ok...that is their preference and there are many others that are looking for a woman my age :)

...by a provider some time ago that once providers get somewhere into their 30's, don't be surprised if they start subtracting about 7 years from their true age. Not sure how accurate that number is, but I suspect there might be some truth to what she told me, at least for some providers I have known

We were contacted by a hobbiest who knew that we knew another provider very well. He wanted to know what her real age was. Before answering, we asked him why. He said that he preferred woman in their late 30s and was afraid she may be too young...so you never know what someone may be interested in...

I once knew a woman who was *stunning* for her age (50's) and had the body of a 25 year old, but she lied and listed her age as 30's. She did well for a while, but eventually clients started commenting about how much older she seemed. The deceit caused her business to suffer and eventually dry up. She would have done better listing her real age.

I think lying about age is silly, and I don't think it is helpful for business. Posting my real age ensures that I attract clients who want to meet me. What is the benefit in trying to attract clients who want something that you are not? That's a recipe for disappointment.

I post my real age because I look great for 40. I wouldn't look quite as impressive if I lied and said I'm 30. People saying you look younger is much better than people saying you look older. ;

...started out as 30 so I'd be "36" now. Apparently quite a few guys don't like em' under 35.  
But hey i'm Black, drink lots of water, get adequate sleep, barely drink booze and don't smoke soooo with any luck if i'm still slangin' poon in 10 years i'll still pretty much look 26.  #melanin

When I first started last September I was about to turn 40, so I used it as a marketing ploy - "catch me before I turn 40" and "catch me while I'm still in my 30's" and that was my busiest week ever. Maybe when I'm 49 I'll sat I'm 44, but for now I'm being honest! LOL   No one ever believes I'm about to be 41 so I can get away with it!! Lots of moisturizer, stay out of the sun, and drink lots of water!
