When I first got married I gave up the hobby though I had already dabbled in it for about  8 years.

After a few years however, the love light in my marriage dimmed, so back to the hobby I went.

I am married now, but with the understanding that hobbying is A-OK.   I don't think I can leave all the great relationships I've established over the last 25 years or so.

after the loss of my wife, I have found civvie relationships to be too clingy and a huge time-suck doing things together that are of little interest to me, but I was doing anyway to indulge her.  I gave up on them many years ago.  I have had many satisfying provider relationships that have evolved into real-life BF-GF on the outside.  We always have an understanding that I can continue to hobby (albeit at a lower volume) even though we are a couple, so it doesn't "keep" me from hobbying.

but a "great" relationship will keep me from wanting to stray. For a while at least.

I don't have a problem with monogamy, but I have a short attention span. The thought of "lifetime monogamy" is simply a foreign concept to me. I just can't imagine never seeing a different woman for the rest of my life. That thought just doesn't compute with me, but for the short term, when I am in a committed relationship and having all my needs met at home, I do tend to lose my desire to see hookers on the side.

If I'm in a committed relationship, then I'm 100% invested in that relationship and have no interest in another woman.  I don't play that game.

Yes or No?
Nope. In fact I'm seeing two providers OTC.

Do you mean when two people love each other and get along well together ... but that's all?

Or does it need to include that each person has his or her needs for intimacy met by the other person?

If you mean the former, then my answer is, no--not forever, anyway.

If you mean the latter, then my answer is yes.

A bad relationship makes me chase after anything new and fun and not care if a SO finds out.

A good relationship usually comes before hobbying, but I still get away when I can.

A great relationship satisfies all my needs.

I currently have a good relationship in RL and a good to great relationship with my ATF. While before, I might try a different provider every few weeks along with a rotation of regulars, now I'm almost exclusive to my ATF, straying into strange territory only once every few months.

During the 25 years my wife gave me blowjobs.  Started hobbying one month after she stopped.

significant physical issues and ailments killed my wife's libido and physically made sex impossible for her/us.  I am grateful for the p4p world and its place in my life.  Certainly has made me rethink monogamy and presented alternative theories to me.

A good relationship would've otherwise kept me from hobbying, except that as a MGTOW, I don't date civvie girls, so my only good relationships are the ones I have with providers which means that quite the contrary, a good relationship would only pull me deeper into the hobby.

Sexual surrogacy is becoming a real thing now.

When I'm in a relationship, I don't see anyone else, civvie or provider.  If the relationship goes such, I'll end it before I see anyone in p4p.

Oh god...we agree!

Except that if I had the picket fence life again I would be hard pressed to stray from it.

I suspect that when blowjobs are missing from a marriage or any from other long-term relationship, that relationship is at risk.

I hope there are some civvie women (particularly wives) who lurk on these pages and take this as a heads-up (no pun intended).

I recently acquired a bisexual girlfriend via Tinder. On our first date,  I mentioned my love of escorts and trans women. She thinks that's cool. Therefore, I continue to date her.

Relationship was already not so great (my fault not hers) when I started mongering. I think I'd give it up if I ever found a really great relationship again. I'll never know, though.

Never cheated on my present day GF,  lucky guy I am.

Occasionally I've wondered   what an afternoon walk on the wild side with cutie Sasha would be like.

Fortunately for my monogamous relationship with my  GF  Sasha wouldn't have the will power to look me up and screen me via my employer directory.   :-D

Am I the only one that sees  a similarity between Sasha and Jessica Alba or perhaps I am instilling  too much imagination into Sasha's moves.

  And the  beat goes on..
