I find it interesting that she was an elementary school teacher and the girl was 15 when the relationship started.  If the girl was one of her students she couldn't be too bright. She didn't report the relationship until she was 20 and after the teacher told her she was getting married. I think the break up might have been more traumatic than the sex acts.

I don't condone child molestation by any means, but I think there is more here than what is printed in the article.  If it were a clear cut case of what she was charged with she would be going to the state prison, not doing a year in the county jail.

I started at thirteen and was involved with at least two women over 18.  I didn't feel abused at all, I felt very lucky.  I am, of course, opposed to sex with children under all circumstances.  I would love to have married a bisexual woman though.

most kids are sexually active at age 12 now..... the laws were created decades ago when having sex at age 12 was inconceivable.

I would be appalled and ready to fight to the death if this were my minor child. I don't think anyone having sex with a little kid is acceptable and 15 is still a minor. Yes kids are more technically advanced than we were at 15, but I am sorry 15 is still too young to be screwed by a adult. The physical attraction may be there....but what kinda conversation did this woman have with a little kid? The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cirus?

It is more socially acceptable for a woman to molest a young boy than it is for a man to molest a young girl. Had this been a female victim and a male perp this whole post and all the responses would have been much different.

I do not agree with you annabangbang. 13/14/15 years olds may think they are mature and understand what it means to have sex, but they still are mentally kids. There's scientific research that proves children's brains are no where advanced as an adults in terms of decision making skills. I was still a child; a child with a womanly figure and fast, but a child at that. Too bad a grown man decided he liked my womanly shape and that he would fuck me over and over.

What sort of crazy ass woman would think having sex with a 15 year old is acceptable? Something is wrong with her.....and she is never going to stop wanting little girls....it is funny and can be laughed off because it is the naughtier version of "Mrs. Robinson" but this here woman is sick and needs to do hard time.

At 15 we all thought we knew everything...and could hang with an adult....but we were dumb as nails and just not mentally, emotionally, and physically prepared to deal with an adult.
