It could be a front.

For drug sales. There is one here in Utah that the rumor has it will sell you anything from pot to meth to roofies. I know the owner to be a very bad guy into all kinds of crooked stuff so I tend to believe it.

I live in a small city, we have 3 palm readers and the like in town. I often pass by and see men coming in or out. I often wonder how many of these places are fronts for nookie facttories. Any statistics on this or experience with these places, if they are indeed houses of ill repute.

that the only thing a guy could get is a bj or something else while standing up! :)

The Romani (Aka gypsies, but that is a non PC term, of course.) are notoriously very conservative in matters sexual.

I suspect not all fortune-tellers are Romani. I agree that it's probably not a front, but ask on your local board.

I live in LA and there's a million fortune teller places.  And out on the street, like out in Venice.  I would imagine store locations could be fronts for other "services" but highly unlikely.  But who knows in a small town, could be.  And as for gypsies, I've never seen a gypsy fortune teller in LA, they are all Hispanic or white!  And they are all scams.  They just try to pull money out of you, giving you bad news, then if you want to change something, you have to buy a candle or a charm to ward off evil for an additional $50.  What's mind blowing to me is that you can now talk to psychics over the phone.  We get TV ads here late at night and on the radio for that crap.  Ridiculous, but they must be making money.
