Is there really a direct correlation?

It seems to me the matter is much more complex.

If a lady who charges $2k minimum comes to town and does one appointment a day, does that mean that you do three? And does that mean a lady who charges $200 does ten?

Every person has different expenses, different sources of income, etc.

One lady might own her home outright, have no student loans and stay in a less expensive suburban hotel. Because she works full-time as a lawyer and only tours on vacation, she doesn't need ANY bookings because she's also planning to visit some family while in the neighborhood. Her rate is not even relevant to how many bookings she needs. She might charge $50 or $5000. It doesn't matter.

But let's compare two hypothetical providers, one who charges $600 and another who charges $650. Does the lady who charges $650 necessarily see fewer clients? Does that $50 really make that much difference? What if the lady who charges $650 has a car payment twice as large as the lady who charges $600 and about $100k in student loans over her head whereas the lady who charges $600 is a trust-fund baby with no real expenses?

Like you, I am a big fan of the free market. But I believe it is far too complex, when dealing with a human being rather than a commoditized "piece of ass", to be explained entirely by price.

There are far too many factors, IMHO, to judge a woman based upon that one number.

Or are you willing to concede that any provider who lists a rate even $1 higher than yours is a better provider than you? Because I just did a review search on ladies charging $601-$999 with a maximum performance lower than yours, and got dozens of hits. If you'll admit that a lady who charges $750 but whose average ratings of 7.7/6.4 is actually better than you; then I'll concede that you are correct and that rates tell the whole story.

Otherwise, since we are dealing with a human system rather than a commodity; I will continue to advocate that each lady be judged individually according to her own individual merits; and that my mother was correct in that you can't judge a book solely by its cover.

Ladies, as a hobbyist in the CLE area, I wonder if someone can help with this.  If a very attractive provider is touring through my fair city and staying for three or four days, what would be her typical activity level?  Two guys per day?  Five?  Ten?  I tend to favor local providers but am simply curious.  If you can help me answer this I appreciate it!  Hope everyone had a good T day.

Either X minus 1 or X plus 1. You being the 1!!!

I hope not. Very few ladies will admit to installing a revolving door on their room when traveling but many do. Basic economics says they need to generally do two a day to come out ahead after expenses. Many will do as many as they can squeeze in (pun intended). Most will not admit to doing more than one or two though because us guys don't want to feel that we are on an assembly line. Kind of kills the whole gfe groove.

I recently was talking to a lady I had met before about scheduling a future date. While we were talking, I asked how her last 4 day trip went. She told me she grossed about 8 grand and was very excited but tired. LOL Now this girl typically claims she limits herself to two appointments a day. Hmmm  Most of her dates are one hour dates @ $300-$400 an hour when traveling. Hmmmm  I'm thinking she must be doing 4+ dates per day to reach anywhere near that kind of cash flow.

And the reality is you have no idea how may guys any of your regular ladies see in a day, a week or a month either.  You only know what they tell you.

G2355 reads

I can't speak for the independents because they control their own schedule and see as many or as few guys as they choose- just like they would if they were in their home city.

But I knew a girl (we were friends with benefits) for about 7 or 8 years, and on several occasions she toured through an agency when she needed some quick money.  They would arrange a condo for her to work out of and would run some sort of an announcement two or three weeks in advance, just like some of the announcements you see on TER.

Basically, they scheduled as many guys as they could squeeze in a day.  It wasn't unusual for a girl to see between 7-10 clients in a day if she was new or popular.  My friend was quite pretty, and therefore, very popular and she had some days when she saw 10 guys.

After 5 or 6 days of this she'd be exhausted and felt like she was trapped, since she basically was.  It was a real ordeal and she'd come home totally worn out and wouldn't want to have sex for a week or two.  Sometimes it really messed with her head also, because it was like a sex production line, but she always had to act fresh and enthusiastic.

Guys can live in their fantasy world can convince themselves of whatever they want, including how special they are and how low volume a girl is.  But if you're one of these agency girls, and they're paying airfare, rooms and meals, you're going to see as many paying customers as they can schedule.  Every day someone was client number 8 or 9, and I'm sure they all thought they were special too.

I also dated an independent provider for 6 years, so I knew what her actual volume was since we would get together most nights.  While she typically would only see two clients in a day, when she got busy, she'd see as many as five.  This happened infrequently, but it did happen.

"If a very attractive provider is touring through my fair city and staying for three or four days, what would be her typical activity level?  Two guys per day?  Five?  Ten?"

The answer depends on several different factors:
- how many clients she wants to see
- what her rates are
- how powerful the economy is

Touring is all about chances, too.  Sometimes, a provider will have a lucrative tour, but then the next time she tours that same city, her business will be slow.

five to seven plus or minus 2 + 3.

so I figure, what the hell:

My question to you, and any other inquiring hobbyist is:  "Why do you care?"

It's really not any of your business when it comes right down to it, and in reality, you'll never know for sure.

As long as you see someone with good reviews and you have a good experience, that is all that should matter to you.

Half the problems that hobbyists have are the creation of our own overactive minds.

We need to relax more.

Yes!  So many ladies have remarked at various times how annoying it is when anyone asks how many guys they see in a day.  It's kind of demeaning and why does anyone need to know?  I think it's because the thought of all those appointments turns them on.  Who knows?  Who cares?  I don't care how many people she sees before me, or after me, as long as she's at her best when she sees ME.

Are you going to tell us all about your hobby life?  Do you ask any business you deal with how many other customers do they also serve?

Come on really?

Simply put it varies with each lady.  And what does it matter???

just a curiosity.  no offense intended.

There is no one standard answer.
Each girl runs her BUSINESS differently (yes Bud this is a business) and so one girl might have as many clients as possible while another lady may be a little more particular in how busy she is.

Also each city is different and what type of lady is popular there.

Bottom line is it varies and there is no standard answer.

How many hobbyists a provider sees per day depends on her price per and her point of view. Some ladies charge more, but see 1 or 2 hobbyists per day. Some providers purposely price some income levels out of their service, for various reasons. Some providers do not schedule appointments shorter than two hours. Read a provider's ad and/or her reviews.

There is a direct correlation between how much an independent lady charges on tour and the amount of people she sees per day. Since most of you guys can relate to car sales: a Bentley dealership is most likely not going to sell as many cars per week as a Ford one.

I hate to compare it to car sales but you guys relate to this so... While on tour: higher fees = less mileage because we have expenses to cover. The higher a lady's fees are, the less people she needs to see (on tour) to make it profitable. That's a fact just do the math yourself. Please don't write me to tell me it's only perceived value between an unlabelled bottle of cheap wine versus an expensive one... It's a free market and one of the strongest American value. That's my story and I stick to it.

SC

You employed the topic of auto dealership sales as an analogy (an exotic ca, Bentley, vs a as a mass produced car, Ford) to illustrate your point of view regarding the frequency and the volume of business, as it relates to this Hobby. The basic premise presumably being that since a vehicle produced by Ford costs far less than that of Bentley's, the Ford dealership needs to sell a lot more vehicles to compete with the Bentley dealership, in so far as revenues/profits are concerned. Your analogy used to demonstrate your POV is a simple and effective one. However, if one tries to dissect that argument, there are many more variables to consider that will make that analogy redundant! Yet in the same post, your made an objectionable reference to JohnGalnh's "Wine snob" analogy when he eloquently (in my view) put across his POV regarding perception, reality and actuality. In other words, he expressed that "perception is often considered as reality, when in fact, that perceived reality is far from actuality"

The use of one popular analogy to drive your POV whilst dismissing another analogy to convey your displeasure with another posters POV is somewhat contradictory! As for me, I think that women (or humans in general) are a lot more analogous to wine than cars. With wine, if you have not tasted the product before, all that you have to go by is your visual impression of the bottle (design, labeling, etc) plus any previous reviews given to it by consumers and wine experts. On some occasions, you can go to wine tasting events and get a sample and test it against your own taste buds, but that usually applies to wines which are perhaps a bit more upmarket. As for cars, one can eradicate much of this perception/reality/actuality guesswork by doing the kind of due diligence which is readily available and accessible. Basically you can go to many different dealerships and "test drive" the car as many times as you would like (some may even allow you to take it home overnight!) before you (ever) make a commitment. Surely there is "hard sale", but a savvy consumer can overcome the hard sale techniques. In fact in my humble opinion, when it comes to choosing a potential suitor for us humans as a "mate" (whether on sub hourly, hourly or much longer term basis, aka relationships) I wish that matter were as easy as car shopping, before one makes a commitment ;)

You see, I liked both analogies and therefore used them both to "drive" my own POV ;) CS~

We should be allowed to 'test drive' a provider before we actually make a monetary commitment whether we want to see them or not?

Tell me, is the sky blue in your fucking world also?

This is the 'hobby'. There's no refunds, lease to own, coupons, or buy one get one free shit here!

She made an analogy opposing Bentleys to Fords. You said yourself the difference between an exotic and anything mass produced. An exotic, being a lady who is UTR and/or has a limited clientel as opposed to a lady that takes as many appointments as possible. Are we on the same page here?

So, yeah, now I'm going to get into your 'wine' shit. Everybody knows Dom Perignon is damn good shit. Do you take my word for it? Of course not. You have to try it yourself. But it's going to cost you.

But you go off the 'reviews' of said wine, in this case champagne, or word of mouth, and make a leap and say 'WTF? I have a few hundred to blow.'  More in some cases.

What the fuck is so different here? Cleo, or any other lady for that matter isn't going to give you, me, anybody 15 minutes of their time to see whether or not we want to spend 2 hours with them, on their dime?! You're living in la-la land, pal!

As far as I'm concerned, I don't have to take that Bentley out for a test drive, or have them open up a bottle of Dom and let me taste it before I buy it. I know what I want! My only problem is, how long do I want it! ;)

You got your venues messed up. Hope you don't use verbal diarrhea like this in real life in hope to confuse people enough so they may think you know what you're talking about.

Good luck with you wine testing and your overnight test driving!

I learned a LOOONG time ago, don't fuck with a beautiful lady! Especially one as smart and witty as 'SC'!

Good luck with that, pal! lmao!!!

Plenty of fish in the Hobby sea and plenty of Franklins for the Ladies. She will miss me as much as I'll miss her, i.e, ZERO ;)

The probability of me looking for a GF when shopping for a Provider, is pretty much the same probability as you looking for a BF when angling for a Client! So let us just drop that kind of silly banter and just agree to disagree.

I agree that you had no point and made no sense,

Cheers!

Yes there is a direct correlation and yes the matter is much more complex...

As we are dealing with human beings I shouldn't have used that analogy but seeing so many hard comments on this board I guess I wanted to make my point in terms that could be understood by all. You're right by putting me in my place on that one. I shouldn't have compared humans to cars as I don't want to be treated like a piece of meat myself; I stand corrected.

Keep in mind I'm talking out of experience at least my own; I've owned my agency for a while with a partner and very good friend; we specialized in touring. The price ranges from $300 to $700 per hour. Maybe Mrfisher is right, this maybe too much info since you're not on the business side of it and that can turn you off but since I walked into that argument I'll finish my point.

I have seen a lot of different ladies working with me and they all had different needs and different expenses money wise that's true and I did omit to mention that. Some ladies only work part of the year and need to work more during that chosen "season" than those others who spread it out during the whole year. Personal debt and personal expenses such as child care, family, loans and trust fund babies all play a big part in the scale of monetary need but that wasn't what I was driving at.

Like I said I'm use to count expenses and profit from a $300/h to a $700/h range; with my partner I had to make those judgment calls on a daily basis. Explain to the new ladies how much profit they could expect in how many days and how many cities, explain why I could market this lady in what price category while this other one only lower, inflating some egos while deflating others. I didn't make many friends when it was time to tell it the way it is but couldn't afford it any other ways as I was running a business.

Let's stick to touring related expenses for the sake of this argument shall we? That was my whole point about touring in the first place. After all, as much as a lady can enjoy a city she's not going to keep coming if she doesn't see a ROI right? A touring lady at $300/h or a touring one at $700/h both have just most same exact expenses in terms of travels:

-Their plane rides are just the same cost
-Their cab rides or their shuttle rides are the same prices
-Touring ads on EROS cost absolutely the same for everyone (can anyone tour without using EROS? If so please explain the recipe).
-Internet expense while touring is the same for everyone (trust me it ads up)

The travel expenses that may vary somewhat slightly from the $300/h range to the $700/h ladies are:

-Food is relative as some of it can be part of discretionary income but we all have to eat
-Hotel differ very slightly from anywhere to a 3* to a 5* rate but both ladies have to stay somewhere. A lot of us use discounted web sites where we don't know where we will stay so price difference isn't that big at all between a 3.5* and a 4*.

So in all my experience the costs of touring for both these price ranges are very similar so a lady at $300/h does have to do double of appointments to pay her basic traveling expenses compared to someone who is charging double.

SC

Anything that is true is true within a given context.

What you've done is specified a context related to your business with touring providers in which, comparing apples to apples, the correlation makes sense.

So within that context, I can see that you are right.

Very good explanation, I might add!

:-)

coming from you what a compliment! You won't find me writing long pages like that very often; I don't want to compete with you and become a better writer then you and have you live in my shadow... I wouldn't do that to you. Would be very unfair you know.

Well a provider who was ATF one time I remember as one client was walking out the door, I was walking up the hall. Then she had another client waiting in the parking lot for me finish. After I was she had another client requesting to see........so from what I heard that day she had at least five guys back to back with in a two hour span, so who know how many guys hit that.

However during the time she was new to the area, so everyone wanted to see, but her quality went down, so no body wanted to see her anymore, so now she no longer tours here.

Think logically.

Hotel costs X amount of dollars.
Travel costs X amount of dollars.

She wants to earn a profit.

How many days is she staying, how far did she travel? How much is her minimum time/fee ratio? Do the math. She's going to want to cover her hotel, travel and food expense and make at LEAST a 600 - 1000 profit on a disappointing tour.  Preferably more, but that's a safe range to aim for.

Is she fishing for arrangements? If so, she may be willing to loose money or break even  in the hopes that one day she'll find a guy who will be a frequent regular for several years. In such casese there may be only one or two dates per trip.

I think everyone here should slowly step away from their energy drinks (or, in MP's case,...). Budwiser, I understand you just asked a question out of curiosity - nothing wrong with that, but curiosity did kill the cat! There are proper places for over-analysis (and please note the "anal") - I do it frequently - but not in this lifestyle. Like Mr. Fisher said - just relax! It's business and it's fun - if you're on the business side, you can still be involved in the fun, but if you're on the fun side, you should leave the business side alone.

Regardless of my last point on the topic about higher fees and less mileage...

I can say that there is nothing more annoying than a client trying to figure with his million questions who you see, how many people you see in a given time, when is your next client? It completely ruins the fun I'm trying to have. Enough that with the reviews very little it left to the imagination (I'm not criticizing the system but it's just a fact) of a person you meet for the first time. Newbies are the ones usually using that as a topic of conversation. Like no joke, I was asked a couple times by gents: "How many men have you slept with?" Huh?! I'd like to say "fuck you very much" but I sit there with some dumb smile thinking: "Oh boy, we're not here for a good time... but a long time... the sun can't shine everyday..."

Thank the game Lord that doesn't happen often!!

This has been really helpful for me.  Curiosity fulfilled - check.  Attitude adjusted - check.  Now I just need some lovin!

But then it might not..... local or traveling is all the same to me..... any more than 4 in a day (5 isn't completely unacceptable but it's REALLY pushing it & don't wanna go to bed feeling wiped out) is a bit too much for me personally. Never thought looks completely correlated with how many appts they go through with booking in a  day. I've seen ads while touring this one lady says she saw only one a day but from a friend she had another friend who was saw like a ridiculous amount like 8 in a day (no thank you) so ooowwwweee yeah it depends.
