What were the others THINKING? How funny!
I have heard the craziest rumors about TERID. Here is the truth.
TERID’s have been part of TER since its creation over 9 years ago. In a database there is almost always a numeric field or index that indicates the particular record inside a data table. In the case of the provider data table it is the TERID.
Back on May 14 we submitted the advertisement below to the “best of” issue of the SFWEEKLY newspaper. On our management screens we have a “search by TERID” button. Only after submitting the ad did we realize that the members did not. Oops. There was no easy way for members to search for providers based on their TERID so we added the feature.
It works out well. In the past a provider might tell clients over the phone to “look for my reviews under Sarah in Los Angles” to find her reviews. Unfortunately there were 34 girls named Sarah to choose from. Now she can just say “search for TERID 76932” and he can find her immediately. Simple.
I hope this resolves some of the mystery.

has 81 reviews. What were they thinking. LOL

additional features to the White List system.
First, a way for reviewers to see what ladies give White List Referrals.
Just a little flag that comes up on the review pages of ladies who have ever submitted a White List Referral.
This would be a great way for guys to know who uses the White List and who doesn't without having to search pages of reviewer profiles.
Second, a way to search for providers that White List, and for that matter, a way to search for "Registered" providers.
And lastly, and least importantly in my book, A Top 100 White Listed Reviewers list for guys with the most White List Referrals like you have the top 100 reviewers list for reviewers with the most reviews.
JMTC and keep up the GREAT work!
All providers and agencies need to start giving white list referrals to the TER members that deserve them. It is the best way ever created to make sure everyone stays safe but it can only work if everyone participates.
Guys, we need your help. Don’t be afraid to ask providers for white list referrals. If you have a good reputation with the ladies, encourage them to visit the TER White List and submit a referral for you. The TER White List is an easy way for providers to give positive references about members they have seen.

The fewer the people who can link my TER username to my actual name, the better. I don't use TER as my reference anyway.
Especially with new crap like this starting last night trying to directly to expose me (and a few others).

Zisk i am sorry to see you were named . The exposer is who? I find it amazing they are asking for your real names and information but are like the wizard of oz hiding behind a curtain. What I wonder was the motivation of this person? What is the pay off? Kendall
In the last post, Staff was encouraging everyone to use Whitelist and I stated why that can be problematic. And then gave link to be explicit.
Maybe you don't agree with Whitelist issues, but I am not highjacking the thread.
Hold on a minute. If you think of the TER community as a city and it’s over one million registered members as its residents, it would make TER the tenth largest city in the United States. Just like any city, it has problems. This is just an example of one.
I have banned his 3 TER usernames and will have our attorney contact Google on Monday to have the blog taken down for copyright infringement.

But, I feel for the hobbiest too and cant say i blame them.
How can you possibly protect them or encourage them to use the system if you cant even maintain (fair) moderators to protect the system (TER boards) in the 1st place.
If the boards were better protected and moderated fairly.,,,
The providers would be more inclined to use the features and trust the system you have designed and the hobbiest would follow along... Cuz thats just what they do.
In a large city the police and fire departments are employees not volunteers ,,,,And there is always someone qualified on duty.

I don't see anything in this entire thread that calls for such a comment. Exactly what kind of connection are you trying to draw between the White-List & moderators??!!?? Incase you don't know, moderators over see the discussion boards. They don't have anything to do with reviews, profile information, or white-lists. Implying that members, whether they be hobbyist or providers, are apprehensive about using the White-List or any other non-discussion board feature of TER due to "unfair" moderators is just plain silly. Not only that, but you're actually being quite rude and disrespectful to all of the moderators as well as staff seeing as you pretty much just called all of the mods corrupt and then criticized staff for allowing the corruption to exist.
My guess is that you probably have had some ort of recent run in with on of the mods and you'd rather try to drag it out, rather than simply sucking it up and apologizing......
Ouch .
I have nothing but madluv for GND and LIR and I totally believe in Staff.
In a decade, I have never witnessed any of them being anything other than fair and kind people.
I read the OP wrong and then responded to it wrong.
I think you read my mine wrong too.
And no never had a run bad run in with a mod ever...
that I am aware of.

That is what I call SUPPORT!!
Thanks for posting this weekend.
I think it is a GRAND idea to COME out once in awhile. Very classy!! I am guessing you are a woman!!
...and of course, only if the guy is a gentleman...but that does not mean that I use it to screen.
I never ask screen names when someone is scheduling with me, and make very few appointment connections through the pm channels here.
I'm sure it is helpful for many, and it can be information that supports other screening options.
I just wanted to point out that because one might whitelist clients, that does not mean they necessarily utilize that option in other ways, so not sure a distinction on who contributes whitelist referrals would really be what you were looking for... Although a sign up program for ladies that accept whitelist referrals might be another option??

Using the search by TERID function, I was able to easily determine the following:
In 2007, about 21,240 providers received their first review.
So far in 2008, there have been 9140 providers who have received their first review, an annualized pace of about 15,000.
That's a hell of a drop in new providers this year. I would have expected an increase in the number of providers in a weak economic climate.
Maybe guys are tightening their belts and not risking TOFTT's as often as they used to.
Just asking... I know I can't...
BUT if I could, I know Mr. Fisher would get one first!
Just another crazy rumor....
....#962336.
I am a free man!
(Fade on diabolical laughter.)
I should go see her.
When you search on TERID, how about the field searching on not only the TERID number, but also the lady's TER handle that is associated with her reviews?
When I first saw the field, I thought it was a TER handle search. I didn't realize the ad benefit until this post.
I'm not sure I would want my TERID to be featured in an ad. Seems like it might attract unwanted attention from LE. TER could have used ID's from ladies that have retired.
to be able to see directly all White List referrals a Provider has given?
