Is "hey" or "what up" the standard introduction for getting in touch with a provider or anyone for that matter? Lately an influx of lame in word or one liner attempts to meet up. Also alot of asking about rates...which are clearly stated on my webpage and most ads. I've been saying "no thanks" alot more lately due to the nature of messages received, like not being willing to fill out verification or even tell me your name or info I've asked for. Or the guy who wants to know specific services for details,rates etc. Call me old fashioned but whatever happened to actual introductions and possibly reading the website when provided? Afterall,it looks as if most ladies bust their butts to make their sites look awesome and professional.

I like to try to use good language and give my name, age, race and only ask pertinent questions. A range of dates and times, do you see older white men. Nothing explicit or suggestive, no code words. I try to answer your questions as best I am willing to.

...looking for the intel that I need before contacting her. My emails are always polite and a bit playful, and once it's established that we'd be a good match it's off to the races.  

They acknowledge that they've actually read my site, let me know their Ter/p411/or work info to verify, and whether or not they want an outcall or hotel incall.  

I send a polite intro beginning with Hi__________, Included is 411 on my age, ethnicity, height and weight, very brief background on what I do, my handle, how many WLs and P411 OKs I have and specific info re possible date. I also offer to PM them here so they know it is actually me who texted or emailed them.  As I have dozens of WLs and many OKs, I rarely get asked to provide further references. If I do, I simply move on to another provider as I'm not interested if she doesn't trust all the other ladies who said I'm safe already. Ironically, the one time I provided references, which was recently, the young provider dragged her heels in contacting them, finally did, then flaked on me 2 hours before our morning date. Go figure. I believe our ladies have enough to deal with in terms of disrespectful hobbyists, without having to reply to ones who can't even introduce themselves appropriately.

that you should put in your intro message. When you don't its just annoying. Name, References or other screening info, Incall/outcall, date/time. You really don't have to say that much. However, I have had some men write entire paragraphs when they introduce themselves to me and although I'm very busy I kind of like it. I know that most of the people who contact me are busy like I am and if they took out the time to write me a long introduction I really do appreciate it and try to reciprocate with something equally as nice. So for me short and to the point is fine, long stories are fine, but "hey" messages? Definitely NOT.

I totally agree keep ot short and sweet but with enough info to move foward. Maybe it's just this last week or so that I've even noticed but it's kind of creeping me out. I will ask them where they found me and most have said TER and one mentioned another site I don't have a profile on yet.  But usually when a TER client contacts they typically leave a response as you all have stated above. I ask them for a name or to fill out verification and than crickets w no response after.

I use P411 - so the invitation automatically includes the time, date and duration - as well as my TER handle.  By viewing my profile she can get my references

Also, reading my website and following protocol. If the lady prefers to received the form from their website.. why make it so complicated?!  
Once I received the form form my website, I check the information, and move on to respond about more specifics for location of if I am not available during the dates and times requested asking if we can make some minor changes or I would work things on my side.

Heck, some providers don't even respond to p411 requests with specific dates, even though p411 requires providers to respond yes or no.

I have to believe that since you're both well known here by your handle and reputation, the ladies you contact are a bit more open to some of the playfulness in your communication. I'm.fairly positive if I did that with a lady I hadn't seen before, she would quickly.put me on her DNS list.  

LA agency bookers would consider it an incomplete request and would not respond.

Lol, kidding of course, but you know everything in this hobby happens on both sides. I can't tell you how many nice, respectful intro emails or texts I have sent, that received a one or 2 word reply from the provider.

Most of the providers that I contact never interact here on the boards so they don't know me or my persona here. And by playfulness I never try to be too cute or cross any lines. I think that a guy would be ok if he tried a bit of playfulness in an introductory email to a provider as long as all of the necessary info was also there and that playfulness didn't come off as smarmy or ventured into forbidden territory.

I do not respond to emails that just say "Hi" or "Hi, how are you?".

Knowing that she is investing her time in responding to any inquiry, I tend to keep things short and sweet with all the relevant information needed.  It's nice to be able to use a verification site to set things up, speeds up the process and all the data she might need is there for her to see.
