".......is it safe....?"

I live in Houston and I must admit that I have never visited an incall service (or any service for that matter). While this looks like a fairly safe and consistent method of obtaining FS, I am interested in finding out how safe this really is in two areas.  In general, is there much, if any chance of getting busted at one of these places?  On the matter of health, if I should take normal precautions and cover up, how prevalent are the risks of contracting STD's? Another words, are most providers at a much higher risk of being an STD carrier than the general public? In addition, I see a lot of reviews bragging about wonderful BBBJ, DATY and DFK. Do these unprotected acts often end up in health problems for client?

The statistic I've read is that LE/Vice targets 85% of OUTCALL and 15% INCALL. Obviously it is easier for LE/Vice to set up a "sting" in a hotel room where they have control over the situation. It is much harder to set up a sting in a provider's Incall location (Harder but not impossible)

As far as STD's go, most of us (Hobbyist's and Provider's) "play safe". A smart provider knows that her body is the merchandise, and it's hard to sell defective merchandise. If a gentleman gets "something" from a lady you can be sure it will be posted in a review or on the boards. A smart lady will get tested often and play safe. Hobbyist's dont want to take anything home to the wife either, so a smart hobbyist will play safe also. I also want to stress that this is NOT "street" level "play"...MOST providers on the Internet are not disease ridden junkies like the crack ho's on main street.

Incall or Outcall...PLAY SAFE. The perception that an "Outcall" provider is somehow "cleaner" is a bit flawed. PLAY SAFE no matter what.

well put sable.

I'd add that in general, incall is very safe.  Most busts involve street action and soliciting.  This is because LE doesn't have the resources to set up a sting that will be reported on the boards in very short order and thus only net a few johns.  Much better to do a street walker sting.  Also, hotels really don' like the sight of people being led off in handcuffs....

You best bet is to follow the boards/review sites and pick providers that are clearly "legit".  I've done my share of taking one for the team and now rely on reviews.  Typically, I like to find newer ladies that have one or two reviews, before they reach stardom.

LE is notorious for setting up stings in hotels.  The hotel management cooperates, and the snagged providers are usually led out quietly, often through a back exit.  Lately, it seems LE have been setting up more stings to nab clients at incall locations.  :-(

I've heard of a local agency that charges $50 more for outcall to a hotel rather than a private residence, reasoning that the ladies are more concerned about a possible sting/bust when visiting a hotel. Is a higher rate for hotel visits common?

If anyone saw Marathon Man with Dustin Hoffman and the evil dentist (Sir Lawrence Olivier) is trying to get information by drilling his teeth and keeps asking "is it safe?"

sorry to get off topic, but that image came to mind

My opinion of the transmission of STD's is that the biggest spread of STD's in the hetero community are the sluts (male and females) that frequent the bars and clubs, hook up for one night stands, heading to the bed, most dont practice safe sex and give the gift that keeps on giving.

In the gay community, I believe it's a different story.

But I would point to these people as those with bad or no safe sex practices to spread STD far more than paid sex workers.

But the media portrays the paid sex workers as those that will be the biggest spreaders of STD's. Sure on the street level, that will happen but in the overall picture, I believe it to be more people that engage in the "risky" behaviors in the bars and clubs.

Does anyone have any statistice on the risks with providers? AI would imagine the most to least risks would be Street, Massage, Incall/Outcall, Nevada?  Just my guess.

Thanks Everyone for the fantastic feedback. It appears to be the consensus that common sense dictates safe sex.  However, it seems to be really spilt over the LE busts. Does anyone really consider this a problem for incall? Has anyone reading this been busted, especially in Houston? How bad is it for a career person? Is it more like a traffic ticket or significantly more serious? Can it be easily be kept from friends, family and job should the unfortunate happen?  I am in for a little risk, but I couldn't really stomach much. Any further advice?
