A few threads below a question by holydiver prompts me to ask the ladies:

Assuming you are a caucasian provider and you've verified the gent to satisfy your safety concerns;but, you are unaware of his race and he arrives at your place and you find out he is'nt caucasian. How would you react?

As with everything, there is no one answer.  There are providers who specifically only see caucasian gentlemen.  As such, I would suspect that part of their prescreening includes questions about color. If the gent has misstated this information, I would suspect they would become upset and possibly cancel the appointment, which is within their rights.

Others see gentlemen of any color, race or nationality.  As such, there would be no reaction other than to greet their client warmly with a hug or kiss.

It really isn't a big deal.  Everything is handled through prescreening if there is any preference on the provider's part.

...and let the good times roll!

if you have any specifics that would prevent you from seeing a gent then the screening process is where you should ask and find out. I think most professional gals work that way.

i am an equal opertunity good time girl ;)

It wouldn't make any difference to me.  In fact this has happened to me on a number of occasions.  I've dated hispanic guys, oriental, and black men.

It really bothers and saddens me when I get a call from a gentleman of color and they ask if their skin color is an issue.

I mean I thought we took care of all that back in the 1960's.  I know we didn't of course, but sheesh, isn't it about time for the world to move forward just a tiny bit.

But in all fairness I had a guy from Norway call me and ask if I dated foreigners... seriously.  And once I figured out what the hell he was saying we had a great time...

I love meeting black gentlemen. For some reason they turn me on most of all. I was recently supposed to meet a sweet-sounding guy and when I spoke w/his reference provider she told me he was black... I guess as a warning. It just made me more excited to meet him because everything about him seemed perfect already. I took this as a good karma reward.

Unfortunately, on the day of our meeting my alternator died and I ended up spending all day doing the tow-truck/garage thing and wasn't able to see him. But I did drink a bunch of tequila and end up getting directions from Pauly Shore as my GF and I drove around lost in the Hollywood hills later. So it was still a fun day.

30% or so of my clients aren't Caucasian. Race really doesn't matter to me.

Personally I could care less if your purple with yellow polka dots on you. For me the biggest issue is respect. As long as you have that for me nothing else much matters esp your race.

I see a rising problem these days in the lack of respect for a provider. We are no diff then any of the hobbiests and we work just as hard for our pay as the lawyers and doctors out there. We deserve respect no matter what.
