I was wondering if there are any studies or research that gives the percentage of men who have seen at least one provider in their lifetime. I'm sure it would vary from country to country. What percentage would you guess?

Speaking as one that was once scared to death to do this I'd guess for every one that does there are hundreds, maybe thousands, that would if they had an iron clad guarantee they wouldn't get caught.
I won't go into it in detail here, since you've probably already heard it somewhere along the line, but the punch line is: "...but I've never had $20 before."
They both would love to see providers, but they're afraid and they're afraid to spend the money. I'd bet if more friends knew, I'd find that most of them would like to try it, if they already haven't.
Occasionally, I have thought that the cultural taboo against prostitution was actually a test of courage and independent thought.
