Why is it that gents make the attempt to schedule an appt, but when asked for provider references, state they have none??
Only to find out they do indeed have them!

I am highly confused by this.

is my best guess, as many men simply don't want to go to the bother of collecting various data like the provider's email/phone number/website, etc.  Also, many providers, when given references, don't bother to check them out or don't even mind if you don't provide references.  

It is best for everyone if providers can check references on a site like Date Check or Preferred 411; simplifies the work for both client and provider.

P.S.  Olivia, glad to see you are doing well now that you have struck out on your own.  You are one classy lady

Who knows... clients can be fickle fiends...

I know that in some ways I would prefer to be able to make contact to see if things look like a match and provide references after we mutually decide that this would be good. Also, I like to give my refs a heads up that a request is coming, as a courtesy.

I have had that happen, as long as t hey are willing to follow my laternate screening, I dont let it bother me. All I REALLY care is that they are safe, and not a boundry pusher, I dont care who they have had relations with. so if I can assure myself of that by my alternate screening so be it.

Sometimes, that fear is justified.

I like providers who come right out and tell me that they would be happy to supply a reference any time.

I think that if more providers would make that clear, more clients would supply references and we'd all be a lot happier.

This is a good reason to establish good relationships with top-tier traveling providers.  They will not have problems furnishing references for you when they are not present in your area.  Personally, I never refer to local ladies for this because of this reason...even if they state it's ok, I never want to relate to them that I prefer to see someone else at any particular time.

I have had this happen to me several times.
I've actually had to suggest a gent lie in order to lessen the blow.
I have had ladies lie to me and tell me that they haven't met a guy, then call him and cuss him out because he's seeing a lady at my rate structure, telling him he's going to get what he payed for (she is double what I charge, and he let me listen to the message, AND we've met him more than once.)
That's why it's essential for ladies to have alternative screening methods, and alot of ladies are starting not to worry about references. I always recommend new friends for Date-Check or P411. It makes life less (it doesn't take the worry away) of a worry for the both of us.
