OK, I have a question for the guys.  I often use female condoms (bring them with me almost always) and I have been told they feel like nothing at all (like bare back).  Now, I get a request from a potential client that wants to go get tested with me (on our 1st meeting) and go bare back.  I explained, I don't play unsafe, but I do have female condoms.  He has never experienced a FC, but insist that BB is the only way to go.  

So, to the men that have experienced a female condom, is it really like nothing at all or is it just better than the male version?  And if it feels like nothing, is there any reason to want bb?  Is it more about getting your way and nothing to do with how it feels?

Heck, I could just tell him I'm not using one and as long as he doesn't look he might think he's getting what he wants...

to go.  It covers more area of the male genitalia preventing diseases male condoms can't.  Some of them are herpes and venereal warts. They are less likely to break, less likely for somebody to mistakenly think that skin condoms are just as safe as synthetic.   The fact they feel better is an added plus.

I'm a firm believer in it never hurts to ask.  That said, once I answered the question, "I don't do that" it should be enough.  If he keeps trying to 'change my mind' then you are right, I have to turn it down.  My health and my life are too important to risk on a $2000./overnight date.  Plus, I need to stay safe to protect all my future clients and their families.

I use them all the time.  Always offer them and pretty much all of my partners welcome to try them.  Their feed back on them has been highly positive.    For me, It really feels as it nothing is there.....    I even do a "double check" to be sure it is!!!  
You just have to use additional lube prior to insertion in the vj and then additional lube prior to intercourse.    As far as the coolness goes:  I don't think that putting the FC in a glass of luke warm water would be recommended.   HOWEVER,  I imagine if one had the lubed warmed up.....  wow, what  GREAT idea....!!!

I have only used the FC on a few occasions, and only with a couple of ladies that particularly likes them. They are great. If inserted properly, and you can get it pushed in deep, it is not all that unattractive. You can just see the rolled edge outside of her. The key is to stay well lubed. They are especially fun when you are with a lady that really loves oral. When you pull out for her to suck there is no Crown for you to discard and have to reapply another when going back in. I now bring them with me, just in case.

They're clumsy to insert and in appearance- it does break up the session a bit to put them in sometimes...but sometimes not if I'm otherwise "distracting" him.

With clients I've known for a while I'll often walk in with them on under my skirt; bending over and "pulling him in" is as close a sensation of "natural" sex as you'll get.

Personally my pleasure doesn't generally come from texture sensation which is the only difference to me when using condoms.  The best way to explain it is pleasure comes from the sensation of being opened up and penetrated.  So more the shape, size and hardness of a cock than the heat and slickness that comes from unprotected sex.

Pulling someone in "bare" with an FC that is lubed up feels better to me professionally and its less likely to shift making it feel safer to me.  I don't worry about an FC breaking or moving like I do with male condoms leaving me freer in the moment.

So downsides - unattractive, takes a second to get in and adjusted....but absolute feels better to me and is more natural to me.

I prefer them and use them in most sessions in alternation  with male condoms to see which sensation the client likes better.

Ally, great idea. One thing I have enjoyed in real life that you can't do with a condom is for the lady to climb aboard clothed (skirt) and slide me in without foreplay or even my plan. This would be a great first pop start to a date.

The advantage of a female condom is that the guy doesn't have to stop and put a condom on (or have one put on him), and then deal with "ring around the cock".  He can mentally pretend it's BBFS.  But if we are talking actual physical sensations, it's nothing like condomless sex.

While a traditional condom desensitizes everything, it feels much better, TO ME, than using a female condom which really feels like I am fucking a piece of latex.

I don't have personal experience, but several websites say the fc can be used for vaginal as well as anal sex.

I will admit I have not used one. I would be open to seeing how it feels but I like to switch positions and I'm  just a little concerned about the time and awkward feelings she might have putting a new one in.

I know of at least one TER provider here that has excellent and who offers BB after the first date. She seems to be fairly popular and doesn't seem to have suffered in business.
