Just kind of wondering, what the gentlemen prefer and why.
I think that a lot of gentlemen think that most providers offer incall at their home.

I would *never* do that, I personally feel like it is a very unsafe thing to do.

So I invest a lot of money getting hotel rooms,my problem is, that I just don't want my face seen too often in the same places.

Any advice?

I get different hotels in town, and get the weekly rate, i tell them that i 've got to do some business in town for a few months, sometimes i stay with friends, sometimes at hotel rooms.

I prefer outcall, due the number of no-shows I have experienced. If the provider doesn't show up, I'm still comfortable (a good book, a nice bottle of wine.) Since I only hobby when I'm out of town, I have the room expense anyway.

I can understand not wanting to be seen too often in one place. One of my no-shows happened because I was staying at a hotel where management had told the provider they preferred not to see her again (she told me the next morning.)

Suggestions? One lady I know told me that for her hotel incall, she is very upfront with the management - she tells them she will have a number of visitors because she is a wedding planner!

I prefer outcall because it gives me more options and is generally safer.If you live in a large town then there should be many hotels as long as you are willing to deal with the price range that exists when you move from good low priced ones to pricey ones.If your town has many hotels then you should be able to move around without becoming a regular.You can look into driving to nearby cities to hobby,if they are large enough to have a decent provider selection,such a choice would be very good if the cities are larger than your home city.The provider that was mentioned by the first responder to your post probaly used the same hotel and management figured out what she was doing.  There are several reasons why she may have chosen the same hotel or hotel chain,but generally it is a bad idea to make such a choice.

I'm widowed, so I have no problem entertaining ladies in my home.  When I'm traveling, I prefer to use my own hotel room.  This can be a problem, though:  In one place in Cleveland, the front desk personnel challenge anyone entering the hotel after 10:00PM.  My intended guest told them she was my niece.  Of course, they grew suspicious when she didn't know my last name.

An incall at my residence is out of the question. I like to meet the provider on "Neutral Territory". I'm sure the provider feels the same way. They don't want you in their residence. Too much information! So... she should either keep an apartment, which many do, or play the hotel game. The customer can always rent the room and she doesn't even have to show her face in the lobby. Outcall all the way!

Print you up some business cards on your computer, let's say... a job recruiter. Check into the hotel, show them your business card and ask for a corporate rate. Then mention to the hotel clerk how much you hate interviewing 1,000 people for 10 positions

I'm a single dad with a teenage daughter living at home, so outcall isn't often an option for me.  

If you're working incall out of hotels, you're incurring a lot of overhead.  I know of several ladies here in San Diego who maintain an incall apartment that probably costs them less than  a reasonable hotel would cost, they have control over the decoration (and therefore the atmosphere) and it's easier for their regulars, who don't have to deal with hotel management, either.

One lady took an apartment in an older building downtown in which the only other space was an office, so no nosy neighbors.  She lives elsewhere and uses the apartment purely for incall.

If I have to get a hotel room, it's gonna be a short stay one, cause I'll only need it for a few hours.  Short Stays are all pretty, well, nasty.

If the provider has to get the hotel room, it will be a nicer room because she'll get a normal one for a few days, and it will be cheaper, because I'll be sharing the cost of the room with as many other guys as she sees.

Different things for different times...if I'm in a city away from home..I would rather the lady come to me...If I'm in SoCAl I would rather Incall, as my home life will be unaffected...

I prefer incall, because I believe it is much safer. I would never want a girl to know where I live. Also, girls usually have nice places available for incall and you don't have to worry about no shows because your going to see them. I live in New York City, therefore circumstances may be different elsewhere.

If I'm in my hometown, I just about have to do incall: it's a big hassle to get a hotel room just to see a provider.  

If I'm out of town, I prefer outcall since I control the premises.  Also, if I'm out of town, I have far less sense of what type of neighborhood I'm getting into if it's the provider's own place.

Alex, I think your instinct is right, though:  doing it at your home is dicey.  If you do it at a hotel, consider one of the larger ones where there's a lot of traffic.  Best solution: a separate incall apt.

In L.A. I pay so much for my rent by the beach, that they get to see my digs, and all my stuff. Its small, and zen.

When I travel, I look for interesting historical hotels. I don't see a lot of people, so I have never had the problem with management. I did have security bang on my door at the Hilton for being too noisy! I opened the door and told them that they had to upgrade and move the occupants of the adjacent room as I was VIP and I had a right to make as much noise during sex as I wanted since it was before 10 pm. I slammed the door, and proceeded to be even louder. Well? I was having a good time.

I don't have a preference one way or another, though I normally do incall when I'm meeting a provider for the first time. If she turns out to be a problem, I'd rather she not know where I live.

The providers I've seen who do incall almost all rent apartments that are kept for that purpose. There are plenty of singles and one-bedrooms avaialble for just that, and I think it works out to be more economical in the long run. The downside, as you've pointed out, is being seen in one place a lot, with a lot of different visitors.

Are nosy neighbours much of a problem for providers who keep apartments for incalls?

Less chance of LE, if she no shows I'm less bent out of shape than if I had to travel to her, etc.. I just feel safer, more relaxed on my home turf.

Being single I don't have a problem with them coming to my place. My building is safe (24 hour doorman,etc..)But if I was attached and/or had kids it would be strictly incall.

I rent and have two roomates-- a married couple.  Though they profess to be open to my hobby activities, their reaction to having it in the house is unpredictable, and I don't want to press the issue.

When I get my own house, that will change.  However, I might have to consider that having too many different beautiful women seen at my place to be similar to your concern about being seen too often in the same place.  However, consider that in the hotel business, providers are very common.  No hotel can afford to be without them.  You will probably be just one of many women who are seen there often.

Ultimately, I think, we should just honk society's nose about this.  The stigma being attached to prostitution/providership is just unacceptable.

For I am familiar with my surroundings. Also, I never do incall at my own place of residence, which is a big no-no for me. I actually know of a lady friend, who was busted by bringing her clients to her home, and apparently, her neighbors ratted her out I always will get a hotel room. If I am doing outcall, then I make sure to "dress down", for I get nervous walking into the hotels.

I'm married, so all my sessions have to be incall.  If I were alone, I'd probably prefer outcall.  However, I've tried outcall a couple of times when I had the chance.  I was separated for a while.  The first time, I set up three different appts before someone actually showed up and she was about 45 minutes late.  The second time it took two tries.  I've only had two or three no-shows in all of my incall tries.  Admittedly, when I did the outcall tries, I called some less reputable agencies.  It probably would have had better odds if I had done better homework.  And I suppose once you get to know someone that decreases the incidence of no-shows as well.

But the advantage of incall is usually the lady is already there.  Sometimes I am their first incall of the day and they meet me at the hotel or I even beat them there, which I prefer not to do, but usually they already have their place so they can't no-show or be late unless they have a previous appointment that runs over.  Probably not a safe thing for some providers to do incall in their home, but I have seen a few ladies that did it in their homes or apartments, one that had a separate condo for that purpose and one that shared an apartment with another lady for that purpose.  I personally feel a little more relaxed going to and being in a residential place than a hotel.  If they are not booking one person every half-hour late at night, it might much of a problem depending.  Usually during the daytime, not many people are home anyway.  If you have 5 or so visitors coming to your place between 6 and midnight (the cutoff time of most of ladies who saw clients in their home) most nights, I suppose it could draw the attention of nosy neighbors.  But if neighbors have their own lives and no one is so loud as to disturb the other neighbors evening, maybe no one cares.

Also for me, I prefer to see someone who's usually going to be in the same spot or at least the same area.  Of course, a lady may travel sometimes, but if she's advertising that she's in town and she's in the same spot in town, and I call for a repeat, then I tell her I've seen her before and she remembers me, we set a time and we don't have to go through the directions spiel again.  Easy.  If she's in the same general area like still downtown but at a different hotel, still easy.  If she's 20 miles from where I saw her before, not quite so easy, although I understand that some ladies like to move around for safety reasons and to be closer to clients in differents parts of the metropolitan area.
