I can only think of a two-step procedure. (1) Select a post from the User you want to ignore by clicking on the blue Subject Line. That post now appears as the main post at the top of the page reloaded page. (2) The main post has an "Actions" drop down menu on the lower right. Choose "Ignore User." DONE!

for her to go to her "messages" tab and click the "ignore list" tab, then just add his handle.  This blocks EVERY post from this username, not just one individual post.

...not just "one individual post."  Imp's way is easier than your way too.  And why the hell would anyone want to block "one individual post?"  That makes no fucking sense at all.  

That said, you are of course correct this time.  

Imp's post.  I thought he was saying it would block a post, not a poster, AND I didn't try it myself.  My bad.  I just didn't realize a mistake like this is a hanging offense for some uptight people with a solid reputation for intentionally lying, which is far different than making an honest mistake.  Lol

But in this one, his solution is way easier than yours. 3 simple clicks. Your method takes more clicks and you have to actually type out a handle correctly for it to work. You know how many people have trouble typing “coeur-de-lion?”  Of course they can copy and paste the handle, but that is still at least twice as many clicks as Imp’s method.

his post.  He said, "Click a POST from the user you want to ignore", rather than "click a post from a user that you want to ignore."   After being called out, I realized it was a bit ambiguous.  Its still my bad for not trying his way before commenting.  That would have clarified the ambiguity for me.
