This time of year the boards are usually VERY active.... not now.  A  R.I.P tombstone is not far off.

and there's not much there. 4th quarter is usually huge posting on regional boards.... not now.

Hell I can't stir up a fight on the Dallas board. Of course it takes hours to get any thing posted.  I guess the leaks just make the stories and the hos look better. Let's all get together on one board and start a fight over a nonexistent ho. Some one pick a board.

Some are more free-wheeling, some are more no nonsense, some are in between.

You get what you get on your boards when a mod vacates and admin appoints another.

Granted, these guys aren't paid for this. But how much fun could it be being a mod if you hear the crickets chirping when you go to your board day after day?

And the ad boards. Why a lady would post on a local board that was on life support is beyond me. Unless of course she's getting biz using other sites and the like, just trying to pad her income and using the means that are infront of her.

What a great idea. And here I've  been limiting myself to whipped cream.  Finely chopped apples, mixed with honey, maybe even some ground nuts(lol).  But might be a bit  too sticky unless clean shaven.  Any thoughts from the ladies about this or other edible possibilities?

I was just on the Dallas board talking about how slow it was. I agree with the Provider's post. My business has taken off so I don't have much time to write anymore. But I always read!

I would love a catfight or a "trainwreck" over a nonexistent ho! Lol. Itd allow me to get out some catty aggression! What are we going to name our ho? I nominate the Dallas board.

Agreed.  Although I don't have any objection to segregating the regional ad boards from the regional discussion boards (it is more organized), I think that change has definitely impacted the regional board activity in general.  The ad posts mixed in with the discussion posts seemed to add some dynamics to the boards that aren't there quite as much now.  I think the health of TER is not in question, but I do think the regional board dynamics have changed recently with this new organization.

This place is kind of organic and changing all the time.  Some things are going to work and others will not.  But we won't know that unless we see what happens with new ideas over time.

Also, I think the poster who mentioned the end-of-summer seasonal lull is spot on.

If this had actually been posted on the dead Dallas board, you'd have increased the post count by 4.  It's a small step, but the people that can cure a dead board are posters.  Coming here to complain about it only serves to up my board's post count, and that's never been an issue for me.

Although I did need to put my beer down to respond.  Dallas has never been a busy board for TER and I'm happy to give you guys the forum to light a fuse.  It just seemed that you were advertising for your cause in the wrong place.  It's all good though.  You'll get the invoice in a few days, lol
