Well, I just started back in here last night, but I wanted to give an official "hello again" to all of my friends on TER! I see some old faces (or names, rather) still around, and that definitely makes me smile!I also see some new ones, that must get bored often or somethin', but we wont get into that one.

I took some time off for a couple of years, but I am back in circulation now! And I'm back harassin' the lot of ya and tryin' to contribute posts of sound quality AND sheer enjoyment!

I look forward to conversations with all of you, and maybe a lil' more with some of you!

....I see a "some" old names.... I do not see too many people that were on when I was active in the boards as well as working. It has been two years since I was last working and nearly three since I was active on the boards...

I notice though, the boards has lost their charm; become more, crass and inerudite.....

I asked a question, and maybe the way I worded it put you and others off. Can't say I'm sorry, because that's how I am. I'm not changing for anybody. Especially for someone I don't know.

YouAreAJabroni, on the other hand never has anything nice to say while using that alias. The alias its self is an insult. Jabroni is an Italian swear word meaning "asshole" or "loser". Or in wrestling it means a guy who is paid to lose. On the street it means a looser who talks big but can't back it up. The very alias is brash and more than abrasive. Heck he/she doesn't even have the guts to post under his/her real handle should tell you something.

I'm sorry, did I overlook something? Was the reply you'd given almost unnecessary, except for the part in the very end where you asked to be enlightened (which could have easily been solved by taking a look at my reviews).

I do not know you, and for that fact, lets presume I am not familiar with your manner of speaking. Why would you begin our textual interactions with a tone along the lines of reproach? Yes, you can say that we (I) read too much into it, but I, sir, believe and rely heavily on first impressions, be they electronic or otherwise. Your resonance was rude, whether you meant it so or not. Hence my reply, which stated that the boards have "lost their charm" and was based off of the posts I have read in the last few days since my return, including yours.

Now, granted, text does not often convey the emotion or intent behind their order. For example, I'm sure you cannot exactly derive my jovial attitude based on the things I am saying-- I assure you though, I'm hardly bothered. Just as you and everyone who came to your defense insist on your character, I'm sure over time you will be able to tell the type of woman I am. However, I can say this, your "tit-for-tat" (no pun intended) attitude you seem to've taken here is less than appealing and doesn't really work in your favor as far as proving that you are, quote, "not such a bad guy".

The fact of the matter is, I don't know you from Eve. And I'll be even bigger and admit that MAYBE my post came across as negative or even hostile. Wasn't my intention.

As a matter of fact, most of my intentions are not hostile. I just have a wicked sense of humor, and the way I say things sometimes comes across as negative.

I'm sure you're a fine lady. Many came to your defense, which speaks volumes. I wasn't intentionally trying to insult you.

But I say what I think. Sometimes I get in trouble because of it. But I won't recant my thoughts.
