Would you refuse to see a guy based on his ratings of other ladies?

Not too experienced here but i noticed the chaos over the number system. What may be awsome to one man maybe not so awsome to the next. Points are great and all but how bad does one lower point hurt? I would think the best info would be inside the review. As to why it was awsome or not, everyone has different wants, needs, and point of views. Normal doesnt really exist, its more like whats normal to you or what you are used to. People have different expectations.

I dont think anyone should be curbed or chewed out on there ratings. Thats where discomfort comes in, I guess more honest reviews would come thru if it was more anonymous. I would hate to review  a lady and then not be able to see her again because her feelings were hurt by a number rating. Which is very unclear to begin with.  

How do ladies feel about seeing guys who give tougher scores.
How do guys  feel about not being able to give there honest opinion?  

Just wondering as i saw a bit of controversy on one of the other discussion boards

I think a guy who is searching and understands ratings

Would look at how a lower score mixes in with the reviewer's other scores. I try not to worry about it; however, if the guy gives a bunch of 2's and 3's with rude reviews - I would probably stay away

That's one reason I don't disclose my TER handle to most girls I see.

Not that it matters anymore because my reviews are not visible.  

While I agree that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I only agree to a certain extent.  Unless one grew up in a secluded island, we've had media influences, parental/peer influences, and perhaps innate genetic influences too as to what we consider "gorgeous".  Therefore, I would disagree that there's no 'norm' as long as we are interconnected somehow to our society. We obviously do not perceive female gorillas as beautiful to the point where most of us would want to get in their pants. There are obviously degrees and limitations to this 'beauty is in beholder' business because most people have societal influence and everyone has genetic influence.  

There are always icons for different time periods that reflect what most people perceive as 'beautiful'. We can see that this has always been changing since the beginning of civilization.  Of course we would need to define what we mean by 'norm' but typically it's what a survey would reflect for the majority up to a standard deviation or two. This is what many use to determine what the 'majority' is in many other applications. Majority's point of view would reflect the norm of that society. Minorities exist but it would not be the norm.  

However, I think the real reason why providers refuse to see guys who give out shitty ratings is because providers don't wanna see guys who tend to give out shitty ratings and never 9s or 10s. Who wants a shitty report card from a guy who always tends to give out shitty reviews?   I tend to hand out 9s and 10s like candies cuz I only see girls who are absolutely gorgeous (in my own eyes)

Beauty of course is in the eye of the beholder. But i believe the more important rating is performance. Also believe the non gfe no higher than a 7 rule is to blame for alot of confusion.

I'll speak for myself

I don't pay attention to any one reviewers numbers of a lady, for the very reasons you've mentioned. And, I completely discount one unusually low ranking amidst a higher running average as I know how egotistical guys can be and I could just see a guy not being able to get it up or not being able to get off and blaming it on the lady, because it can't be his fault, right.  

Conversely, I tend to discount a few 9's/10's amidst a lower running average as I can see guys doing that just for the favor of a lady. You are correct, the best info is in the body of the review, and after reading multiple reviews I feel I can get a good idea of how an appointment will go with any given lady.  

This is particularly important to me as I must travel to hobby, so I've typically invested a sum of money nearly equal to the donation just in travel expenses to get to her. I usually try to take advantage of my business travel to hobby, but it's still important in that situation to spend time with a quality woman as I don't want to waste those opportunities.  

I am not a bargain hunter hobbyist, I don't mind and I have the means to see ladies without much regard for their donation. But I can attest that quality is not always directly aligned with her donation.

I am certain, that we never really leave high school.. The key is all in how you deal with it.

I think an addition to that statement is the ability to recognize those who don't know how to deal with it and who still act like high schoolers and distance yourself from them as much and as often as possible.

Someone asked me recently "wouldn't it be nice to be 25 again?". My response was no, unless I could retain the wisdom.

I do agree that to a certain extent looks are in the eyes of the beholder. This doesn't mean that it's the norm for most people though. Some girls do tend to get much higher appearance ratings from the majority (we're not talking about TER appearance ratings). So there are certainly strict limitations on "beholder" theory although it does hold true within some defined range.  

What constitutes "good appearances" have been studied by many and can even be represented mathematically. As one example among many, they have discovered that a facial structure that conforms to a Fibonacci ratio are rated much higher by both men and women. A face that deviates too much from this structure almost always gets the 'Not Hot' vote from the majority.  

Would you agree that this girl's photo looks hot? ;

Know reviews are a bunch of BS anyways.  

Some are fictional encounters in a wet dream or something or excerpts from the Porn the guy watched before writing the review.

...unless the provider has nothing but low points.  The beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, and the information to hedge a bet on whether or not a provider has the power to arouse enjoyment is in the review.

honest opinion on ratings

I don't write reviews myself because I think the system is flawed and the reviews are not very honest/accurate.  However, if you allowed guys to leave reviews without putting their name down it would be a clusterfuck and the bitching would never end. It seems that the reviews are all the same ... "I went for some DATY and gave her a big O" ... or, "I pounded her for 20 minutes and we O'ed together" Really? LMAO People watch too much porn ...

Nothing stops me from writing a review the way I want, other than

if I have given a word to her that I wouldn't review her beforehand. Then I will definitely keep my word.

If I was a provider...

And a guy who routinely scores very low wanted to see me, I'd defer politely.  If he's been that dissatisfied with most of the other ladies that he's seen, he is unlikely to be a pleasant experience.

Since I am a client, I write off any providers consistently below about a 6, and take 9 and 10 with a very large grain of salt.  That gives me a working pool that I can read the more average reviews on to try to get the overall feel of the session.  There are a lot of very wonderful ladies in my area that are in that pool (naked, I hope.)

That said, if they mention spinner, bonus points, she goes into the potentials pool.  If an ad mentions QV or half hour sessions, they are out of the pool.  Non-GFE's are out of the pool.  I love getting and giving oral (about equally) and am not willing to sacrifice that when I have to hang a trash bag over my dick for vag intercourse.  DATY is about half the reason I am at a session, so that's an absolute must.

No offense meant, ladies, I know condoms have to be used for vag or anal for safety reasons, yours AND mine.  But it doesn't mean that I have to like it (at least for vag).  We old farts have lost enough sensitivity as it is...

I read ppls reviews b4 I see them.

I read guys reviews for many reasons.

I like to see what their attitude is like the way they write a review tells me a lot about a person.

I just told a gent I didn't see we were a good fit based on his views of the women he sees.
For me its not about getting scored its about the experience. If you want a show hit a strip club you want a hot time see one of the lovely ladies here...

I also wont see someone who seems to be all about critiquing the ladies they see. Some guys pick them apart and some are very mean, that's not ok in my book. They want to roll through all the acronyms like a check list, their head isn't even in the game. Personally that's no fun for me.  they have become some weird critic, like a food critic they don't just sit back and enjoy the ride.  the review system is good but how you use it determines how flawed it can be.

I love to spend time with Gentlemen who are all about having a good time not grading me on my performance. Enjoy the ride I say let the reviews be the after thought.

So yes I turn down requests based on their reviews as they do to us also. In reality Everyone is NOT going to be a good fit anyway.I have been at this long enough to know who I will like and who I wont most of the time. Im also here to have a good time I see many of the same ppl yr in and yr out adding a few as I go along so I prefer to be choosy choosing my friends.

In the end unless you're really wanting to compete with everyone else

The numbers don't matter.  

It's the content. I don't like to read others reviews. I refuse to get VIP because I don't need to read about someone else's experience.  

From missives to and from the gentleman I should be able to gather enough information and see if we'd be compatible, if not then I move on and suggest someone who might be compatible.  

To me. I don't care about the numbers. They're ridiculous in my opinion.  

 
I know what I look like and understand I'm not for everyone.  
I know how I perform and understand that it isn't what everyone's looking for

The system is broken.

If you write an honest review that isn't great you can get blacklisted. I've given several 10/10's but over time you set a new standard or get a bit jaded. So if your new standard is higher and you give someone an 8/9 or god forbid a 7/7 she can blacklist you and you have no recourse.

So your only option is to either not review or lie.

Yes, with a caveat...

Now, I'm pretty sure of my shit, so for the most part, I look and make sure he hasn't given a ton of 4's to girls I know aren't.

When I see a bunch of 5, 6, 7's, I'll look into it. There are a ton of reasons those scores may be given out, and I just want to make sure they're fair. If they're fair or even generous, I don't mind. If it's fair and maybe scored a little low in my hoe-ly opinion, I don't mind. If I get an 8 or a 9 instead of a 10 every once in a while, it's not going to mess with my business, especially if the content is good.  

The only time I wouldn't see someone who had given out average scores would be if it seemed like he did so because he was jaded, and at that point, it's not even about the ratings. What I mean by jaded is either one of those guys who secretly hates this, and is hard on the girls he reviews, or one of those guys who give such a solid run down of the session that you know he wasn't even paying attention to anything but what adjectives he could check off. The latter are the ones who typically narrate the entire session, and I just can't get into that. I know exactly what my tits look like. I have spent literal days at this point staring at them in photos and in person, I don't need to hear about it too while I'm trying to get my rocks off. This has more to do with the type of client I prefer though, than scores. I'm just not a huge fan of professional hobbyists. They'll stalk you around the internet and sneak up on you as a huge whiney ass mangina.

As far as having a bunch of low but deservedly so scores.... it depends on how I'm feeling that day. I do think that girls who don't provide a good service should be reviewed as such, but it does concern me if ALL he seems to have are bad experiences. A couple average to good reviews on his part mixed in there would make me feel much more comfortable that he doesn't just have a chip on his shoulder or actively tries to get himself arrested. A lot of how I feel about it will depend on our correspondence.

When I see a bunch of tens I give a discount ;-)

As a guy with limited means, I try not to "bargain hunt" either.  I don't go as often as I would like because of this but I can say that I have seen some ladies who approach a GFE for under 300 and I've seen some over 400 gals who advertised GFE and gave out the experience of a rub and tug.  TER reviews aren't perfect, but they help weed out the ladies that I just can't afford to try out and then be disappointed by.  A gal with a 7 for looks but an 8 or 9 for going the extra mile  is fine by me.  Sometimes, to be kind I'll kick it up a point for looks if the body is hot but the face is not, or vice versa, but Russ is right, you gotta discount the outliers of 9's or 10's if most reviews are 7's, likewise the one or two 2,3 marks when the majority are consistently high.  It's not an exact science and sometimes you get burned.  I've found that certain reviewers have the same taste as me and I "trust" their reviews when I see them.
