I got back into the gym this morning. Did half my usual routine, and took it slow. No issues noted with physical activity about equal to a good fuck. So, I think it would be safe. Still on the fence about doing it before the first test this Friday. I may just wait. I’ll be pissed off if they get all excited and book me for immediate surgery. That would give me a few months layoff to just be horny.

If concerned, why not just tell doc that you're taking up jogging?  or weight lifting?
They'll tell you if you can withstand the "physical exertion" if you think there might be an issue?

The cardiologist seemed unconcerned that I have been going to the gym every day. But, he still scheduled me for the tests. He didn’t tell me to stop.

yes that is very true and sometimes a shame to have to deal with since the drugs given for some of the conditions that can be found by these tests leads to the loss of THE BIG RETURN !!  chose your meds wisely ..

Sex - despite what we might think of ourselves - is a lot less physically demanding than basic cardio activity. And you burn a lot less calories too. Like a lot less.  

I have been working my way off meds that can work against sexual function for some time.
Things are working very well now. I will discuss any future meds as they are brought up.  It’s a huge quality of life issue that I won’t compromise on.

I am leaning towards waiting until the first test on Friday is done.  I will not leave without some answers. If they don’t see any need to rush me into surgery, I’m gonna appoint with my ATF.
