Forget about your own reasoning and rationale regarding "good business." Do you sit around and worry about SUBway selling you 1 12" jumbo hoagie for $5 that will make you lose weight??? I didn't thing do. ;)

She'll come to you for 1K, that plenty to cover costs and give her a rate for the day she is happy with. Her PSE is intense and exhausting, her GFE is more relaxed.

She tours and that is her deal. She doesnt want to waste one minute answering emails from guiys that can't simply decide, YES or NO, if they want her company and her deal. She gets tons of that shit, that's why she is curt.

Advice:

DO YOU WANT TO spend $1000 on her? Yes or No?

No? Stop reading and forget the whole thing?

Yes? then decide if you want 2hr PSE or 4hr GFE. read her reviews to get your best idea of what is what.

Make your choice and book her.

Indecisive? Not sure? Worried? ... about anything, then just forget about it and move on.

BTW, I know it is, she offered the same deal in my neck of the woods.

:)

Hello all,
I need some advice, I have been in this hobby for now 11 years and I haven't encountered this kind of a situation.
A few years back, I tried to see a well reviewed visiting provider but because of scheduling conflicts I couldn't see her. I have been on her mailing list since then and will occasionly get some mass emails. A few days back I got this email:

"Hello!
How are you?
I am interested in meeting you!
I am offering extended travel dates to Memphis now.
Let's meet for two hours PSE or four hours GFE.
Four hours domination/fetish play is available.
Overnight dates are available, too.
I can meet you in Memphis on any day.
Please give me at least three days advance notice, when you book with me.
I live in New York City, but the airplane ride to Memphis is only three hours long!
I can be in your lap... in no time!
(Airfare and incall space is automatically included in our date, so there is no extra fee for me to travel to Memphis.)
Plus, I love traveling.
No graphic, explicit, indiscreet messages.
No discussing the donation.
No haggling.
Please do check out my website and second photo gallery.
I hope we meet, sexy!
;)
XOXO & Lust,  ""

Since she had been on my radar, I went on the website to see her rates for this visit. I couldn't find any rates for this kind of arrangement (travel included). There were her regular rates which certainly would be reasonable for local or touring incall, but certainly to cheap for an all inclusive deal. Since her email had mentioned not to discuss donation, for the next few days I kept on checking on her website for any new additions, after 6 days I sent her a carefully worded mail to clarify things

"It would be great to see you in Memphis, I like the idea of everything included, but you didn't specify the rates. Are they the same as on your website for pse?
Thanks "

I got a fairly quick and brief response stating
" please stop asking Indiscreet questions over email".

Now I don't think I was indiscreet, the initial email from her was fairly non discreet itself. Based on this last email, I have decided not to see her since I think I did not use any explicit language and all I wanted to know was the rate for the trip to my city, I just find it hard to believe that she would have flown in Memphis, bought a hotel and see me for 1000. That's just not good buisness.

So, I don't understand this whole thing? Any ideas on what's going on? I am guessing she is trying to see more clients and is sending email to people who have contacted her before, but then shouldn't she put either something on her site or make it clear on email about her donation. Another thing that I noted was that her initial email came from a different address and the repeat one was from a different address.

Hobbyists and providers , any suggestions on how I should have approached this? Do you all think I was off the line?

My take is that she sent you, along with others in your Memphis area the same email looking to see how many would set up with her.  If enough did she would come to you and it would end up being nothing more than "a tour".

And as I have seen many, many times on our local board the gals send this stuff out looking for "pre-booking", and if not enough arrange for a date...the "tour" is cancelled.

You could certainly send her another email inquiring as to her "tour dates" and see what her response is.  I would guess she wouldn't commit unless she had enough others to make it "worth her while".  And if she only did show for you...well, show her the email she sent you when you drop off your donation!

upstate76, all she's asking you to do is book what ever it is you want three days in advance of the date that you want it.

Her fees are the same fees posted on her website.  2 hours PSE for 1000, I assume.

Why would you bother with someone you were interested a few years back?  I do not see a point in wasitng time on unsolicited email.

I've been in this position a few times over the years.

On her website, a provider is vague about her rates. As a hobbyist, I have a budget. I'd like to see her, but cost is a consideration.

So I send her a note, telling her I'd love to see her. She tells me the rate. I decide whether to see her or not.

Right or wrong, I've always taken the approach that I don't inquire about the rate, following the unwritten rule that you don't inquire about the rate.

No, I don't think you were indiscreet if you did not use any code words like GFE or PSE in your response.  I'd NEVER book an appointment without being sure I could afford it.  Avoiding nasty surprises for both parties.  Asking if the rate on her web site or ad is correct is not haggling.   Since she sent you a un-requested message, I think you are correct in clarifying.
If she is so touchy, I'd probably cross her off my list...

THIS all day!

I was so confused about the attention to detail of how this was all going to happen and make sense to him. LOL!
It does not have to appeal to your sensibilities.  All you have to do is book it.

Airfare to Memphis on less than 1 weeks notice is $500, and that is if she changes planes.

I would have replied: "I would love to see you in Memphis for 4 hr GFE. Let me know when you will be in the area." It is clear you are not willing to pay for her to get to you, but you will pay the 4 hr GFE rate on her website.

Her response will give you an indication of whether she is interested in making a trip just to see you.

I do not know you or the lady but what hit me is the possibility that maybe the lady has for reasons of her own decide to travel to your area in the near future. Said reasons may be personal but economics can say that if she can offset some of the costs of the trip she plans to make within a window could be offset by booking with gents who have already expressed an interest.

For example, I find I will need or want to travel to the St. Louis area sometime in the next couple of months for personal reasons (in my following example my dates for going to St. Louis are flexible so long as they fall within x weeks, months or what ever). I might then go through my list of persons in that area who have expressed a desire to meet should I tour that area. I might then send a similar offer to said gents in hopes that they will book and I can then be assured that I will be able to cover my travel and other expenses for the trip I need to make.

Good idea... for you.

This was not a 'too good to be true offer.' More than that 'too good to be true' is a phrase used for offers from unreviewed providers that may be a come on of fakes, ROBs, stings, etc.

This offer is a reviewed provider. She's legit. She's just doing something new, 'thinking outside the box.'

You don't like??? You don't book. Just man up and own your own reason and don't try to put the "too good to be true" label on her. That is silly.

Not only that, but I agree that she has broken several "hookeromics" rules as well, the first of which is sending out mass, unsolicited emails. The very wording of the email has me convinced beyond all doubt that she sent this very same email out to other hobbyists.

Thinking outside the box is one thing, this kind of crap is quite another, I would move on without giving her a second thought.

Although I have a very different business model and the way I offer my services differs from the lady you mention in your original post I just wanted to touch upon the subject of "code words". I stay far away from the acronyms that are mentioned throughout this thread when emailing with a potential suitor. It is implied in my business model that you are getting the company of a warm and friendly lady and that certain topics do not need to be discussed as they are implicit in this industry inherently by the nature of what we providers do. Over email with a client, I refer to our interludes as "dates" or "adventures" most of the time and for me this is the best way to ensure discretion and safety for myself and my potential partner in crime for the evening :)
