Hello all,

Would love some opinions on something.  What do you all (both hobbyists and providers) think about booking forms?  I certainly understand that providers need to arrange some amount of protection for themselves.  On the other hand, I get nervous about leaving an electronic trail with all of my personal information, phone numbers, etc, which could potentially saved and/or discovered by others under the wrong circumstances.  What do you think?

Totally understandable.

Most providers who use booking forms also have an email address on their "contact" page.  Send her an email in lieu of filling out the form and  explain your concerns.  Set up a phone conversation with her and get screened over the phone rather than the Internet.   Be prepared to provide her with references, White List info, and any other memberships you may have.

Be polite and honest and I doubt you'll have a problem.

Have fun!

I'm not a fan of the forms, and I just email the provider the info she requests on the form. Pretty simple, why would you want to pass of a great escort over a form half hour?

I mean, regardless, if you email the info or fill out the form, is it really different?
Either way, it's going to a server and then to an email inbox, right?

I am flexible and will take the info either way, but I'm really curious if a techy person can respond to my questions?

And going one step further, if you pass the info over the phone, its still being transmitted through a phone line and then most likely into writing on the provider's desK?

I mean really, any way you slice it, you give the info out and it's being recorded in some fashion, or you don't.

I agree Lynette, that's all you guys have to do if she also have an e-mail listed on her contact page.

This sort of question comes up fairly often.  Here's a recent discussion from Newbie board.

"contact / screening form" (3/29/2011)
http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=83735&boardID=33

I don't use the on-line forms. I email info as part of my intro. If she doesn't use email and prefers phone then I'll provide info in the phone call.  And you're right: you just don't know where those web-forms are going to end up. If her ISP is otherwise reliable but a small time operator (garage or basement server farm) and his kid brother brings in the cops for stealing a bicycle or breaking a window who knows what the cops might subpoena if they see lots of computers.

I do ask a gent to either fill out the booking form on my website or email me his info.I understand not everyone is okay with filling out my website form so I offer the email option as well.
Do whatever you are comfortable with just make sure you include all the required info the lady needs and I do not see you having an issue!
Good luck!

There are too many ladies with booking forms to believe they are NOT being utilized.  Its part of the game.  Besides, there's always going to be a lady you're willing to break your "will not do" rule for.  Just fill it out!

"Just fill it out!"  "What's the difference?"

Not exactly attitudes that instill the kind of confidence a monger should have before turning over any personal info. *shudder*

When I was a newbie, i was also nervous about filling out forms, and that some ladies might actually have the ability to upload info from there into a client database.  I still believe that's possible, and that a few ladies may do so.  But, they can do the same if you provide the same info via an e-mail, or if they take the info over the phone.   Also, ladies that do use the forms have told me (I've seen a number of those that do) that their websites are generally not sophisticated enough to do capture data in that manner, and that it's easier to just delete that info once they have verified you.

Remember also that if you decide to provide the same info via e-mail, that many ladies will retain your note until they get around to deleting it.  You can be sure that they will retain any follow-up notes that you send if you give the appearance that you may be visiting a second time or more.

Also, do you reciprocate by deleting HER messages, texts, and clear your phone log to protect her in case you get caught?   Hobbyists complain frequently about this issue...I wonder if we do just a good a job in order to protect our lady friends?

If the email goes to the same server, you are correct in your assumption. If the email goes to a different email only server, it becomes 1 in trillion email on that server making somewhat difficult to sort.

Forms data is generally stored in a database which is backed up nightly by the ISP and they must provide the data to LE on demand and that's the difference in the two.

There are strict laws on information retention very complicated and confusing issue when it comes to business. If you set-up your won private server, administer it and don't rent it out, you can do whatever you wish with info and if it is business which ISP's are, you have to comply with state and federal information retention laws. Your state may have more stringent laws than the feds as in CA, AZ, NV, etc.

You could be right about the utilization, I can't argue with you about that.

However, regarding being "willing to break your 'will not do' rule"? Speaking for myself and the hobby guys I speak with personally, none of us ever break our "will not do" rules, for any reason. That's why they are called WILL NOT DO RULES.

This is just my GUESS from looking at your website:

You're the type of woman that men usually do not say "no" to. For just about anything. And rightly so. *smile* You are aware of this, and skilled at using your feminine powers of persuasion with men with great success. This has allowed to to experience first hand, how a woman can get past seemiongly any reluctance that a man will present to her. That fact gives you the viewpoint that with any man, somewhere there is a woman for whom he is willing to set aside any and every intenal boundary he has just to be with her.

That view is either nieve or jaded. With the looks of you, I believe it is the latter.

Men have far more fortitute and resolve to not cross their own *TRUE* boundaries than you ascribe to them.

Everything I've said here in nonperjorative, and is out of admiration for the positively stunning creature that you are.

Allow me to dry my chin and get your incredible image out of my head...

Thank you.

Now back to the point at hand. Speaking directly for myself as proof, I will tell you this:

With as much of an absolutly unattanable dream that your are, if you were to tour my city, and off a no-cost 4 hour session, which could be mine for simply filling out your webform with my verifyable information...

...get ready! here it comes...

... I would not do it.

I will not use such a form.

Granted, I might attempt to contact you and even beg you--like a pathetic little wanton manslut I would be-- to get you to see me without the form. At your standard rate. But, alas... I would not fill out the form. *sigh*

If you doubt me, you could try it! ;)

What gets me is when providers ask for full name, address, employer information, etc.  WTF?

Sure, if you give me your real name, real age, real photo, etc.

I understand that some screening has to be done, but things like verifying employment?  Get the hell out of here.

"There are too many ladies with booking forms to believe they are NOT being utilized."

They aren't being utilized, the Providers are just too stupid or lazy to change the site template on the free cites they use.  The Providers with their own sites typically just list the information that they want you to include in an email.

for me to jump through that particular hoop, once I see those words "form must be completed in full" I move right on the the next lady, I don't even give her a second thought, and that goes for you as well.

Certain rules just set the wrong tone for me, I hobby so I don't have to jump through hoops for sex. Jumping through endless hoops before even meeting a woman just isn't going to happen with me. There are loads of women that realize that and I choose to spend my money with them.

Form data is also not as reliable as email. Form data goes to a script processor on the web server where the data is processed and possibly stored, and then sent to a process that will generate the email and then is sent to the email server. I have seen several web servers crash on form data and the sender never knows the email was never created. Sending direct email can fail also but you leave out several extra steps not needed where the data can be stored or lost.

immediately loses whatever attractiveness I ever  had for her.

Like you said there are simply too many women hotter women out there without all the drama. I've got plenty of time and plenty of money, I simply don't need the aggravation of jumping through hoops. Hell if I wanted an overbearing, demanding woman to fuck, I would have stayed married.

I would suggest that if a woman really needs this type of "empowerment" she should join a support group. lol

when accompanied with an attitude like BiCoastal has just shown, all a woman like her becomes is a hole in which to stick my dick, and there is no shortage of willing women to accommodate me.

This goes to the "power dynamics" thread here as well...and as I commented that if you don't plan on seeing the gal (another time...or in this case the only time) then the one with the $$$ is clearly in control!

BiCoastal gal...if it is working for you...go with it.

Not asking anyone to break theirs either so, keep your, "I have rules too" to yourself- Thank you.

You make an excellent point. Personally, I won't e-mail my info either.

It sound sounds like you have a method that suits your preferences. I have a method that suits mine, too.

As it works out, we would probably never see each other professionally. I don't beleive that is a problem for either of us. There are so many providers and so many clients that certainly each of us can find what we are looking for.

There is no one 'perfect' way to do this. I think keeping that in mind, and trusting our own sensibilities will serve each of us best.

I didn't read this entire thread but, I will continue to be facetious about the issue of the contact form...lol.

Although there seems to be two issues here...the contact form and releasing personal information.  Not one in the same as each contact form requests different information, and we are well aware the information can be sent via email/phone.

I see this is a sensitive topic here, not sure why as the alternative is doing what is being done...NOT filling out the form.

Happy Hobbying All!

What's the difference? We have to clear you one way or another. I don't allow anyone to have my number until I know if they are safe. This helps me avoid those harassing late night phone calls from time wasters. I do not keep the screening forms and once they are sent, they come directly to my email as an email so it's the same as you sending it yourself. I do give my clients the option of sending the info through regular email for their peace of mind. Ultimately, the info is erased once verified anyway. I wipe my hard drive once a month so believe me when I say I do what I can to keep all involved as safe as possible. Reviews leave paper  trails as well. Do you write those?
