Why go to McDonald's when there is a Jack-in-the-Box next door? Lol! Did I make your point?

T.L.

I have noticed some providers on here with pretty bad reviews (overall 5 and lower)
who advertise on Cityvibe and have a "see my TER reviews!" link on their ad

If you are getting 3's and 4's is a link to those reviews a GOOD thing?

I am thinking no but curious what yall say

You think you are better than somebody? LOL?

I am a buisness person who understands repeats & referrals are the key to success as well as advertising. So I was wondering why a provider doesn't contact the person that wrote the poor review and offer that person a discount and a opportunity to make it a better exsperiance so that they will write a better review. If I'm not mistaken when you write a review on the same provider the old one is cancelled out.

It's outside the scope of the original topic, but you bring up an excellent point. It does make business sense and I'm sure it goes on, but the ethics could be hotly debated.

That would open another can of worms...

Now the guys who are looking to take advantage would use this as leverage. "So baby I will give you a two...You can make it up to me honey by seeing me for half price or a free session right baby!!!!!!"
Not to say We ladies have not been threatened by guys already reguarding bad reviews.
Or hey honey can I do a half hour and I will write you a lovely review....
Nope..... write a bad review. My opinion is I do not barter, negogiate or beg for reviews.
I offer real GFE and PSE dates. Reviews are not on my mind when I meet a man....
I am sure most ladies here can say the same.
If a girl is low scores why should she not atleast advertise that this is realy her. It is a buyers beware market.... You get what ypou pay for..

Isn't it also against TER policy to negotiate reviews?  I remember not too long ago a young lady (newbie) was offering a free session in exchange for a review.  She was banned from TER.  I know she is back now after working things out.  It is a learning process.

Summer, like you, I think it would be a way for some guys to negotiate sessions.  Not cool.

Don't take it the wrong way. I'm not looking for free or discounted pussy. I was just giving girls with bad reviews my opinion on how to repair their image and become the professional provider they need to be to be successful.I have and would give a girl a second chance for full rate if I thought she cared about being successful in her work.

A good provider knows that one bad review will not do a tremendous amount of damage and WILL see if there is any way to make up for the gents poor experience - assuming that he wasn't just an asshole posting a fake review to hurt her, that the bad experience wasn't actually his fault (too rough, demeaning, whatever.)

Trying to make up for an "off" session is completely different than trying to make up for a bad review.  TER is the only site that I am aware of which overrides previous reviews like that.  Anyways, sometimes a lower review is a good thing - amongst stellar and glowing reviews, it helps to keep things real, we ARE human and sometimes YMMV and chemistry will interfere with the fantasy.

However, it seems obvious to me that ladies "with pretty bad reviews (overall 5 and lower)" as the original poster queried... especially multiples of such scores... such a lady clearly does NOT care to be more successful.

If such a lady went on a quest to change her scores I would view it as manipulation of the system.

If you are such a business person, then you should know that the first impression is the most important, because you only get on chance to make a fist impression.

On the topic of review score:  A discount for higher score is not allowed here on TER.  Any bartering or exchange for higher scores are banned.

Also, why would I want to see the provider again is she did not put the effort to session wonderful a second chance.  That means the provider only put in effort from the gents who complains.  This would seem like the lady will at least a minimum of two session for less than good effort.

I see it like this, some men will see providers no matter what. It doesn't matter if they have bad reviews or pimped, some guys will still see them. I even think if the girl is a ROB, they will still see them. Why? I don't know, but if the girls are still in biz its b/c the men keep them in biz.

I agree!

It's funny how they read reviews and still go. Lets not forget--Its their $ and time.

Why go to McDonald's when there is a Jack-in-the-Box next door? Lol! Did I make your point?

Because they know that a significant percentage of people reading their ad will not bother to follow the link to the actual review.

And a similar percentage will assume that since the provider in question is providing a link to a review, it must be a good one.

I have frequently seen "TER Reviewed" on my local CL.  While a few are reliable performers, some reviews reinforced my "Not Gonna Go There" concept.  I guess the girls figure enough dumb guys will not go through the bother of joining, getting VIP & reading how disappointed the last guy was.  Funny, the guys...  find TER afterwords & post about their experiences.  I didn't know about TER until I was B&S's.  It won't happen to me again.

Actually a lower rated review is better than no review, at least if she gets 4 or 5 you know you'll at least have somewhere to put JR, which although not for me is all some guys want a cheap price. Without a least a bad review, there's always the up-sale or straight out rob possibility.

I think maybe some ladies put the ad up and then never look at it again.  Therefore, they don't know that CV put's their TER Reviews link on it and don't even know about TER.

to pay for a TER membership.  So many nobs cruise backpage, EROS, cityvibe and whatever else is out there and see "please see my TER reviews".  What these cheap assholes don't realize is that TER contains good and bad reviews.  But these assholes think that TER reviews means that the provider has all positive reviews.

These ripoff girls know that and fool those idiots.  Well there you go.  Hope it answers the question.

Good thing actually.

What I don't understand is people seeing these providers and writing reviews complaining.

Thank you all for the answers and opinions. Many make sense to me

To the poster who asked if I thought I was "better"
than other people, I really don't see what in my original question would bring that response

I don't think I am better than other girls, I think my REVIEWS are better than some, yes. But I have worked hard for that and don't think that is a bad thing or implies I think I am "better" as a person!
