That's really not that much. I probably would've spent it on other frivolous shit like sporting events, food and liquor.

...because NOT seeing hookers for 24 years cost me about $850K. That's how much my ex pissed away with nothing to show for it (mostly over the last 6 years of the relationship). That would represent a hobby budget of about $3K per month. I'm not complaining about my ex - in the balance, our time together was fantastic. But "ya pays your money & ya takes your chances". And then it was done. As it turns out, something she said, followed by something she later did, led me to actually understand how the whole hobby thing works. So when it was over, I wasted no time starting to get established in this neck of the woods.

and unlike a lot of guys here, I did mine sooner rather than later and have been loving my life ever since, it beats the hell out of sneaking around to fuck hookers while pretending to have a happy marriage that's for damn sure.
