Tremendous strides have been made in the sex worker rights movement by the brave souls who have used their voices in the media to challenge the current laws and policies, as well as the stereotypes and beliefs about the industry...

IF I were going to pick an interview subject, you'd be at the top of the list.  I've been reading your posts for a few years now and I honestly can't think of another poster that makes as much sense as you do on a regular basis.

Why would you want to avoid publicity.  I myself would welcome the chance to appear for a frank interview on local or, even better, national TV where I can be seen by my wife, children, grandchildren and my patients and my board of directors I could relate all my illegal activities and implicate as many people as possible Then I could close my office have some plastic surgery and move to a small dry dusty desert community in some really unpleasant place and try to start life anew.

I happen to like "small dry dusty desert communities" and they are not in the least unpleasant unless you dislike tarantulas, scorpions, rattlesnakes, and black widows. Oh, and having to drive two hours to see a quality hooker.

I haven't responded yet. My kneejerk reaction is a resounding NO, but I've been preaching for years that if hookers and johns are ever going to come out of the shadows, we have to come out of the closet first.

Revealing that you hobby is just going to make civvies jealous and there's no telling what the media will do with what you say.

Also, TCF has been covering the sex industry for a long time, and is one of the few journalists that tend to not sensationalize. She seems to be adept at telling that there is a difference between voluntary sex work and trafficking, which cannot be said for most journalists who cover the industry.
