Some gents describe themselves in their initial email.
On some occasions I have seen a gents P411 profile and he might have a picture posted there.
It is useful to know what a person looks like before meeting but I would never ask for a photo to be sent to me beforehand.

I'm guessing this subject has come up before but I am curious. How important is it for a provider to know what her new client looks like? Does this occur often and would the guys object if this was asked of them? I would suppose there would be a few anxious folks that may not want to do this for all kinds of paranoid reasons. Providers show pics so why shouldn't a client be willing to send a pic of his face or body?  I don't mind doing it but I'm just curious about the general feel about this. gf60

before meeting the more comfortable the provider will feel.  I always love getting pictures from clients!  If you are comfortable sending a photo to the provider, then I think you absolutely should.  I can't speak for all providers, but I am sure they would be happy to receive it.

I have had clients request to meet me in  a public place, whom I had never met before, and in this situation a picture is so helpful.

Just imagine what would happen if she gets arrested for prostitution. The first thing cops do is confiscate their laptops, and guess what, they will find your picture on there. Now, they can come and harass you all they want.  I don't know if you have wife and kids, but if you do, just imagine kind of embarrassment you will have to go through. Another strict NO...NO.. is providing work related information..

I've been hobbying for 10 yrs, been on TER for 8+ years, and have seen providers ranging from AMP girls (that's short for Asian Massage Parlors) to women charging up to $600 per hour, and NEVER any girl has requested me to send a picture.  It is not a requirement, and in most cases a girl will see you if you have reputable references.  

Another scenario, which no one should discount, that if a girl ASKS for a photo, it could be LE (if she has no reviews on the boards) or could be working with LE. If anyone would ask me for a photo, I would run other way as fast as I could...

Also, they can decide if they want to see me or not based on my race, as some girls will not see minorities.

I simply move on. To many great providers who don't require a picture.

I would however like the appt. inquiries from hobbyist to include reference that have been checked as opposed to me having to write to ladies only to find out that she has no clue who" joe shmo " is. I am shocked how much this is happening. I think the guys assume theyl remeber.    I think that the appearance is irrelevant. Unless she wants to pick ones she feels are better looking or somthing. ! and has just too many inquiries. We have no way to be sure we are rollin dice EVERY time we take on a new client, or even an old. theres no guarantees. a picture is so irrelevant UNLESS the lady requested them n is just bein picky n lookn for one she thinks is hot. I think more important is havn a reference and also the courtesy to check they remember you by that name before sending us typing our emails n things only to discover no she has no clue who you are,
I also have had women ask me and well, the man didnt remind me and again  it was this big time consuming confusion I had to tell her  to tell him,,,,,,,,,,,to email me cuz I had no clue who joe shmo was, I def dont write down the guys real names any where and dont save my contacts either. I kinda do my dates n well. forget anout the guys pretty fast. like you guys do to us. !!! as of late i deleted alot inquiries after they gave a name the lady didnt know. Theres too many appt inquiries that have and include valid references for me to spend time with the few that take up massive time by not givn a good reference.

I am man enough to admit that I am out of my league. Basically what I mean is.
They usually know alot more than I gave them. It would not surprise me at all if a provider found my pic/ facebook/ home adress etc. I don't care. Whatever a girl needs to do to feel comfy around me is okay by me. So don't bather offering a pic. If they want it. They usually can get it.

Some guys will voluntarily send a pic and that's fine but I have never or will ever ask for one. What I don't like are dick pics sent to me...they get deleted and I will not see the clown who sent it. I know you weren't asking that but since we were on the subject of sending pics I thought it apropos

I've never asked for one and have only gotten one twice. I don't think it's necessary. There have been times when I am meeting someone in public and they describe themselves. But, I'm usually looking for what they said they'd be wearing before I'm looking for a face.

I agree with saturn about the cock shot. I verified a guy through a few references and met him for coffee. He presented me with a deposit for an extended arrangement the following month and a VS gift card. I received a cock shot from him the next week. A bit much when we've never even had an actual date. I kind of freaked me out, lol. I asked him to meet me for lunch a couple of days later. When we met, I returned his deposit and gift card and cancelled the date.

I think it might help sometimes. even though you don't want to judge a book by it's cover. there are times when I'm looking at a providers site and I get a vibe from their face.(then I read their "about me" section)

Conversely, when I started I joined a date site and thought I had to have a pic so I put one in my profile. I didn't have a recent pic and I didn't want to take a phone pic so I uploaded a recent pic from a vacation with me in a tank top and swimming trunks.I guess she thought I was being vain and she responded in her email that she didn't like guys who were full of themselves.wtf?

Baby, I didn't mean that a picture would be a reference tool only that it might mean or engender a more creative or exciting experience if you knew who you had an appointment with. I have a paper shredder application, and it only cost me 5 bucks.  So, all pictures, emails, and other files are sent to cyber space in little tiny pieces.

I even keep pictures of myself on an external hard drive, because even if you never send the picture over the internet, computer savvy people can access your computer and take them from you computer's memory.

If you emailed a provider who gets arrested for prostitution I don't think the picture would be the issue, if they found your email with or without a picture attached they could harass you all the same.  I don't think safety would be compromised from a photo.

I do agree that if a provider requires a picture upfront before meeting that something might be up.  I would be skeptical too in that situation, because its usually not required by a provider and why should it be?  I think CurlyW is right about checking to see if the provider requesting has any reviews etc. could be foul play, and a sign to stay away.

I just think a picture is an added bonus when I find one attached to an email
