Is dinner dates something that you do or don't?If so did you have a great time or something you will not repeat?Personally,I love to eat there's nothing better than a great meal,stimulating conversations,and a great bottle of wine or a good cocktail.Actually,I can think of something better afterwards Dessert!

First of all, it's a crazy concept to pay a provider to sit and eat with you. I did it one time and thought $300 for the hour, $150 for dinner, WTF was I thinking?
Then I fucked her for an hour for another $300.

I have dined with providers on several other occasions OTC. That's the way it should be.

For the whiners who are going to say "you pay them for their time", please save it. I know what I pay for.

I agree with a poster some time ago, I think it was GTM, who said he didn't pay providers to watch him eat his dinner.  If I take a provider to dinner or a concert, it's off the clock by mutual agreement, and I pick up the tab and any extras.  I don't like mixing it with P4P.

The only way I have had dinner with provider. Besides, I don't mind walking into any restaurant by lonesome self and having dinner with good book for company.

are not the dinner date type of clientele.  Mostly hourly guys here and most dinner date clients are lurkers or not even on here at all.

OP: I love dinner dates and extended sessions which allow for truly getting to know my clients rather than getting straight down to business and out the door they go. My favorites are overnight engagements, which I have become quite fond of over the past several months. Ultimately, I have found that cultivating relationships keeps my clients AND me coming back for more. I am proud to say we have real friendships that extend beyond the physical.

I don't do planned dinner dates with providers.
I can't afford paying for dinners and her time .
If I could, I probably would. I have taken a few out to dinner after a appt, off the clock, and I actually felt guilty eating on her time, even though she mentioned she was hungry.  
Its the  bottom line.. I don't have enough disposable income to lead that lifestyle.
Maybe next year I will invent something everyone will buy .

Rarely do less than an overnight. When for some reason that doesn't work then I do a dinner date. I enjoy the whole package of a date not just the bedroom action.

Here's the thing. I don't bother booking a lady at all unless I think she's as interesting outside the bedroom as she is in it.

For another, having sex during an appointment adds about 4 hours of logistics to my day that I won't go into here.

So if I want to see a girl and can squeeze in an hour but not 5; I'm prone to just book her for lunch or something like that if I can. I've booked one lady for an "outcall" to a local cafe for tea.

I genuinely like the women I see.

I also sometimes give another option. I give providers the choice between a sex or a no-sex date for the same price and time. And choosing the "no-sex" option doesn't adversely affect my odds of seeing them again.

But, yes, some guys like dinner dates.

Now, in fairness, a dinner date is a lot more likely with a lady who charges $600 than with a lady who charges $2,000. Sometimes it isn't a question of whether or not I'd enjoy her company over dinner -- but rather that my budget (to which I adhere strictly) might not allow it.

But I only book them after I've gotten to know the lady pretty well. The only ladies I've taken to dinner have offered that time OTC or it's been part of an overnight.

Ladies who really enjoy dinner dates would probably find more solicitations for them if the dinner time were significantly discounted. For many guys, I don't think it's a matter of not being able to afford the time for dinner, it's just that the companionship during dinner has less 'value' than the time in the bedroom. I don't think I've ever met anyone who was a good enough conversationalist to be able to command $300+ per hour.

Most probably love them or have no use for them with little ground in between.  Goes back to the basic issue of what a guy values.  Personally I prefer to include it.

I have noticed little practical difference whether a provider supposedly charges for the dinner time or not because for whatever reason when her stomach is full the clock in the bedroom runs slow anyway.

One responderf said most guys on here are not the dinner type.  While I agree the majority are probably "no dinner" types I bet the pro dinner crowd is a more substantial fraction than some would expect.

Looking at the numbers if a provider's #1 goal was how much $$ they could make a bunch of 1/2 hr is a lot more money than a single dinner date.

I make decent money at my job but I could certainly do better by changing companies or moving to a different branch, but the working conditions are better where I am.  What's the big difficulty thinking a provider might prefer the "working conditions" of a dinner date better than being the assembly line.

Well, had mostly late lunches/early dinners, but I think it's cool when we can sit there, enjoy a meal, some drinks of course, and talk.

And believe it or not, knowing we ALL know how Mikey likes to talk, I take great pleasure in letting a lady go on about herself. It's interesting.

I do dinner dates all the time but only with my established favs and the dinner is off the clock. We always have a blast!  Speaking for myself only I would never pay to eat with anyone.  I can certainly don't have a problem with ladies who do them for profit or the gentlemen who book them it's just not my idea of prudent spending.

Because my provider pool is very small.

In fact, I'd pretty much say there is no room left at the inn with the exception of a handful of ladies who know who they are.

OK riddle me this.. Even me, with my Gomer rap, I can easily find civvies that will join me for wine, dinner and conversation, or sometimes a day at the beach. Its the sex that they don't give up so easily. I would have thought you could go almost anywhere, and find a civvy lady that would love to converse with you, at a nice resturant, or even at a coffe shop with cookies and cake.

I love it. It builds intensity due to the wait for intimacy, and you get to know one another a little better, which eases tension and allows for everyone to enjoy themselves.

When given the choice, I have never had a provider choose the no-sex option.

Some of the best dates I have ever had were dinner dates! Great company, good laughs and the meal was good too but the companionship and conection made during dinner, that fact that we talked about any and everything made the dessert simply amazing! I love dinner dates and offer big discounts for them hoping the guys will take me up on them!

I love good food, and especially I love getting to know someone over a meal. Dinner dates can sometimes be difficult to arrange with everyone's schedules, though. Gentlemen who are in town because of their jobs are often scheduled for a business dinner of their own every night, and local men often reserve evening time for their obligations at home.

Thankfully, there's also sometimes the option of a long lunch.

I'll never understand why some clients (*cough cough*) who aren't interested in on-the-clock dinner dates get so worked up about them simply existing as an option. It's an OPTION (at least for most ladies). If you don't want to compensate for time spent at dinner, just don't schedule something like that. Easy peasy.

Obviously, one date that pays $2500 for an overnight is better for the provider than having to prepare for X 1/2 hour dates at $150 each. It is easier to screen, prepare and see one client than 8.

Even if her rate on a per-hour basis is lower for an overnight; she's sleeping for 6 of those hours, getting dinner and conversation, etc. She's likely spending only 4 of those hours having sex. Maybe not even that.

She has a clear financial incentive to do overnights or other extended dates.

The financial incentive clouds the picture considerably in evaluating her preference for "getting to know the client." Is that the truth, or just marketing words?

The picture would be a lot less cloudy if a provider's rates looked like this:

"Time spent at dinner is free if followed by a 2 hour booking for $500."

Now it is crystal clear she really likes that time spent at dinner.

But when her rates look like this:

1 hr: 500
2 hr: 950
3 hr dinner date: 1300

It really isn't clear whether she actually prefers and enjoys that extra time in the presence of the hobbyist or simply is benefiting from an economy of scale.

I'll grant that BOTH are possible.

But if providers seriously preferred time spent outside the bedroom, I think they would structure their rates to incentivize it more; and maybe even offer special (lower) rates for "getting to know you" public dates. I only know of one provider who does that, and she isn't even in this country.

I DO know providers who seriously incentivize longer dates. For example, their rate for 4 hours is just their 1hr rate x2. THAT is an incentive. And they likely get dinner dates -- even from guys on this board.

Exactly right on the clock. A lady may list a dinner date as 4-5 hours, typically i have found that it runs 6+ hours. The odds that the lady has another date that night are small to non-existent so the time spent becomes a pretty small issue.

I have no shortage of companionship in that area, because I’m a great dinner date. I am charming, intelligent, an engaging conversationalist, and extremely funny.

I have a full life with friend, family, kids, and the artists I mentor. My time is valuable, and having dinner with me is very special, that not just anyone can have.

Dinner with a provider before a session can great fun for both of us, and end up enhancing the session. For that reason, I will usually let that be OTC for the lady, while I pick up the tab. (I always pick up any tab when I’m present.) But I’m not likely to let the dinner be more than 2 hours, followed by a one or two hour session.

And considering that i just got home from one .. math is easy to do.

1) Time spend on preparing for the date - 2h.  If you can find a woman who can get ready for date in 4 - 5 star restaurant in less time, lemme know

2) Time spent in restaurant. 1.5 hours

3) Time spent in BCD activities 2 hours

4) Total time spent - 6h

5) Income 900

6) Out of pocket expenses for incall etc - none.  (i am not going to list things like mani/pedi, dress, shoes etc. for obvious reasons)

real rate is  225/h

Now, I could have done 4 half hour appointments (BCD time of 2h) at 250/hh and make exactly same amount of money after incall cost.

Some ladies prefer to spend more time and effort on being engaging charming companion for their dinner dates and others prefer quick and simple shorter dates.

Each business model has its own customers.  That is why there is such range of providers .. from streetwalkers to wives.

there are many reasons and many different motivations, sometimes occurring at the same time in the same person.  That was basically my point:  If one person (Giamarie in this case) says “I feel this way….”, why does someone else (Shrink in this case) feel obliged to essentially say “No you don’t!  You really feel THAT way….”.  If Shrink said “I personally feel differently….”, I’d have had no beef about his post.

To your other point about pricing approaches I completely agree.  I look at providers who incentivize longer dates because my experience indicates they generally are a better fit for what I enjoy.  As you point out some do that on their web page, but I’ve also found some will do it after a little communication.  A few women in CA used to have a rate along the lines of $500 for the first hr and $100 each hr after that.  The one I met said she had few requests for less than 3 or 4 hrs and most were for an overnight (which was listed as 8 but always seemed to be more like 12 or 14).

I don't pay for dates either, I pay for NSA sex. If we share a meal, I'll pick up the tab. If a lady expects to be compesated further for "her time", she can find someone else to buy her dinner.

There are plenty of manginas who only pay a woman "for her time" who are more than happy to fork over hundreds of dollars extra just for the privelege of sharing (and paying for) a meal with a woman that they don't think would give them the time of day in the "real world"

I personally love dinner dates.  The cost can get in the way but with a mutual agreement on the length and discounted rate for public time I do them frequently.  True to form, my best experiences have been extended dinner dates.

The upsides for me; I get to know the woman I've hired to act like a girlfriend (remember what GFE stands for), I hopefully get to partake in stimulating conversation, and I get to be seen flirting/touching/teasing a beautiful woman (it is a ego boost-who doesn't feel like King Shit walking into a restaurant when everyone turns their head to look).

When hiring a provider I'm interested in friendly, uninhibited S-E-X with the girl of my choice -- not in fooling myself that I'm some kind of suave playboy on a date with a model. Because I'm not.

Sure, some providers go into this because they like a lot of sex, and some combine that with great attitude and marketing and business savvy. But just as every provider we see is a roll of the dice in terms of enjoyability, so is every client for them. And they see far more of us than we do of them. So imagine condensing your hobbying by at least a factor of 10, and I bet the highs and lows would quickly blur together.

A no-pressure night with a single Mr. Moneybags, no matter how awkward he may be, is still a better way for most providers to turn a buck.

Yes, I love the dinner dates. I love the public display of affection with some attention on us, and not to mention the dinner and dessert is also yummy. I think its a great way for both of us to relax and enjoy great conversation as well as the anticipation, as we both know what we will be up to later. LOL

It is part of my job at times to take clients out to dinner but it is "on the clock". There is no way I would do that if I wouldn't get paid so I do not understand why fellow hobbysts feel that the ladies have to eat dinner with us "off the clock"...if you don't want to pay just do not do dinner dates.

I love dinner dates.  But what I have found is that it is better to have dinner after rather than before.  Performance is better-energy level is better.  Then, a nice relaxing dinner to enjoy the end of the date.  I'm curious if the providers like dinner at the end, or do they just want to leave after the encounter?

If I did dinner dates, I would very much prefer private time first, then dinner.
